3 year old Ray buzzing on high pitch

I have a 3 year old Ray which has been flawless until now. It’s started making a buzzing noise when a high pitch sound is played. We play a game where wolves howl and every time they do, it happens. Sounds like vibration.
Is there anything I can do to remedy it, without having to send it off?

It hasn’t been dropped/knocked. It’s been properly looked after. The issues happens when the volume is high or low but only when that certain high pitch ‘howl’ is played.

Thanks in advance

Something may have worked loose and is rattling/buzzing at a certain frequency. Is the Ray freestanding or wall mounted? If freestanding, try putting it on a soft surface to see if it still happens. Or try generating a diagnostic report and contacting Sonos support.

It’s not wall mounted, it sits below the tv - not touching it - on a solid oak unit. I’ll try putting it on a soft surface today.
Will support still help after 3 years?

Thanks

They should do, at least to identify a possible fault. How it may be resolved remains to be seen though.

Check the cables too, by the way, to be sure it’s not just a loose connection or a cable touching the enclosure and vibrating.

Support has a number of options they can offer, as long as you haven't opened the speaker.
