Anyone notice difference from 10/8/25 update for Arc Ultra, Era 300s, and Sub 4?

Only asking since the patch notes are incredibly cryptic in what changed or attempted to improve. Very disappointing Sonos chooses the mystery approach.

Hello @GuyinPA75, welcome back!

Anyone notice difference from 10/8/25 update for Arc Ultra, Era 300s, and Sub 4?

Only asking since the patch notes are incredibly cryptic in what changed or attempted to improve. Very disappointing Sonos chooses the mystery approach.

There was no change in the audio profile of the Sonos Arc Ultra and the update brought a fix for the popping artifacts issue occurring to it.

With my response your thread moved to the top of the latest activity list, maybe other Community users, including you, would like to reply with feedback if there is a different feel after the update.

I’ve not noticed anything drastic, or truthfully much difference at all. I’ve got the ARC Ultra, Sub 4 & a pair of ERA100’s for surround. All seems to be working as intended, thankfully. Nice to see they’re keeping up with firmware & app updates on a fairly regular basis.

Would be nice if there was a spot to see all firmware revisions, and what they entail. If there is such a page, please post up. Thanks!

In the controller, go to the settings page (click on the wheel / gear in the upper right corner of the screen).

Then click on General Settings.

Then click on About Your System.

See in that list all the pertinent data about your system. Note it is static, not dynamic, if you make a change, it won’t be reflected on this report until the report is run again.

I realize how to check current firmware version of the hardware in the app, I’m just curious about seeing all revisions over time. On Sonos’s website tucked away to peruse..

 Here are some release notes.
