Navigating two systems on same network on Sonos app

How to switch between systems in Sonos app? Every time I try to use the app to control volume after using one system, it mutes or disconnects the arc. I have to unplug the arc and then it works again. There has to be a better smoother way of doing this - using the app for two different systems on same network.

Are they both the same OS for the Sonos? If so, why would you set them up as two systems, why not set them up as one system, with different ‘rooms’? I currently have 8 current ‘locations’ with several of them containing ‘grouped’ rooms, with over 20 some odd speakers, including two ‘rooms’ of home theater Arcs.

Without much knowledge or testing, I think in general a controller connects to the last ‘system’ it was connected to, in order to change, I think you have to ‘forget system’ each time in order to switch to another system. This isn’t something I ever do, so you may want to call Sonos Support to discuss it. usually, when I connect to a different system, I’m on a completely different WiFi/SSID, and there is no confusion by my controller.
