Hi folks,I’ve got an LG OLED55C8PLA TV, connected a Sonos Playbar by optical cable. For years I’ve been able to adjust the volume of the TV output through the Playbar using the LG magic remote.  As of about a week ago, this has stoped working. I can adjust the volume of music through the SONOS app using the remote, and I can adjust the volume of the TV using the app, but not the TV output with the remote. I’ve replaced the remote and it hasn’t helped. I’ve tried the Remote Control Set-up in the SONOS app too. Have contacted LG and SONOS for help, but neither could fix it.It may be an LG firmware update, but I’d have thought someone else might have had the same problem and can’t see that others have. Anyone have any helpful ideas?Dave

I don’t know what’s causing this, but my middle channel sound coming from my arc ultra is not loud enough. I’ve done everything I can do to try and get some clear and louder dialogue but nothing has worked. My regular arc sounds louder and clearer. My ultra almost sounds muffled and I’ve enhanced the speech enhancement to max. Any suggestions or did I get a defective ultra? I purchased this when they opened up the pre orders. 

Watching TV and Sonos just quits working 

I would like to listen to Music from Spiritune, a third party music streaming service, through my Sonos system. So far, it seems to not be supported by Sonos.It would be nice if support for the service could be added to the app.

I have an analog turntable, without a built-in preamp, currently connected to analog speakers. I would like to connect it to our Sonos network. At the moment, we have three Sonos speakers without a line-in (I believe they are Sonos Play). What do I need to connect everything? I currently have a Sonos system consisting of Arc, Gen 3 Bass, and (2) ERA 300 speakers. I am interested in up grading the Arc to a Arc Ultra. The problem I have is the horror stories of individuals that have done this is people had to do factory resets on the other speakers and True Play sound calibration does not work. This is beyond my abilities. I talked to Best Buy and basically told me there are no guaranties this is going to work. What I'm afraid of is to buy the upgrade and end up with a system that does not work, even putting the original back in place. I even want the the ACE headphones added during this process. I have no problem paying someone to do the work, but finding someone that will guaranty it will work is impossible. Any idea of what I can do to guaranty the upgrade and have peace of mind. Trying to manage content services but it is giving me a message that I have to sign in as the system owner.  I am signed in.  I am confused. 

We’d had our Sonos network installed in this house for over 8 years without any problems. One of our devices is not compatible with the S2 upgrade so we left everything running on the Sonos S1 version without any problems. A few months ago I upgraded two of our phones, 1 iphone is connected perfectly fine, the other refuses to connect to the sonos network.  We’ve uninstalled / re-installed the app several times, checked the WiFi config to triple check the Sonos and iphone are on the same network, checked permissions, etc.  The Sonos network itself is used daily and has never faltered.  After (re)installing we:see the 3 picture / intro screens Choose connect to an existing network the app reports it can’t find the network and we get to the “push the button” screen we don’t have a device with the first “infinity” button, so go to the next screen I press the play/pause and volume up on a device, the light starts slow flashing amber and nothing… eventually the Sonos times out and goes back

I have the new Sonos app installed on my Android phone. Until the most recent updates, it seemed to be improving from its disastrous initial release.Since the last couple of updates however, there appears to be a new bug. Under the category "Your Services" I can no longer click on the links to "View all" for any of the music services that my Sonos app is connected to without the app crashing. Is this a known issue? Would be great if it could be addressed and corrected.Thank you. 

I have two Sonos systems at my work.1 x Sonos 5 1st gen upstairs working off the Sonos 1 app and then 2 x Play 1 speakers (second gen) downstairs working off Sonos 2 app.They are both not working correctly. They start up in the morning but then stop/drop off the network?

Now that the new app is close to being back to the functionality of the original app, I have one major problem that I want to know if it’s just me.i have created a large queue of songs from my music library. On the pc app it shows the queue and also places the queue display at the currently playing song.on the iOS app the queue seems to reload every time I go into it and the album art then takes an age to load. It never puts the queue position to the currently playing song so I have to scroll endlessly to find it.i tried having the iOS queue open and then using the pc controller to move to the next song but the iOS queue didn’t change. Weirdly, if I open the iOS queue and while it is considering showing the album art I change the track using the  pc controller, the iOS album art appears instantly.

Hi there, I am looking at purchasing a BenQ W1800 projector for a little cinema project in my storage unit. I currently have 2 x Sonos Era 300 and a Sonos Arc Ultra, and a Panasonic Blu Ray player.  My question is, what is the best way of setting this up? The projector will be ceiling mounted some distance from the screen, and Sonos Arc Ultra, so I am wondering how best to connect it all up. I am aware HDMI cables only work up to a relatively short distance? Therefore, how would you recommend connecting the Sonos Arc Ultra to the projector, and would it need a HD Fury or something similar to convert the audio signal to eARC? Or is it easier to look at doing it via an AVR?  Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Hello! I am going to have a party and wants to have some speakers in my garden. If I rent a couple of Soundboks would it be possible to connect them to a Sonos Port? How would I solve it? with cables or wireless?

I have a wired system connected to a tuner and CD player and turntable. I want to slowly migrate to Sonos to add wireless speakers.  It looks like I can take the L&R speaker output cables from the tuner and connect them to the port to get the signal on the air. Is that correct?

TrueCinema is missing in the app. I've succesfully updated the Beam(gen2) and the Ace but I still missing the TrueCinema  item on TV Swap menu.

Can users can the functionality to set an alarm for a group of speakers?  For instance I have a group called morning that includes my bedroom and bathroom speakers. It would be great for them to play together at a set time.  The current configuration is not functional. I would have to check daily to make sure the speakers were last played together for the alarm to work as wanted. This has been a long standing issue and a widely requested feature for at least 2 years. 

Hi, not sure if this has been asked before but I wanted to check on placement for surrounds.We have our couches to the left and right of the TV a few feet away. We dont have a couch facing the TV directly. I have room behind the couch to the right to place surrounds on a stand. Would this work or will I not get that immersiveness as I'm not directly in front of the TV? 

Hello everyone.I have a setup consisting of the following: Sonos Arc UltraSonos Sub Mini2x Sonos Era 100LG OLED C4DUNE HD Pro 8K PlusXbox Series XPS5 Pro All system components are updated to the latest software version.About a month ago, I noticed a strange sound. It’s very similar to a signal interference noise that lasts for about a second or less on the Arc Ultra. It can occur once every 30 minutes, sometimes once an hour. There's no pattern to when it happens. It’s like a static beep lasting a second or less. It’s not heard on any of the other system components. All devices have been stationary — nothing was moved or touched. There’s no visible damage to any of the devices.When watching movies or series, if I hear this sound and rewind to the same moment, the sound isn’t there anymore. This sound also occurs when I turn off the TV, after a few minutes of turning off the sound may also occur. Up to 10 minutes after turning off the sound may appear. I can’t play different music on different speakers.  Have two I-pads and whatever selection I make on one I-Pad effects the app running on the second I-Pad.  Went round and round with suppport chat and got no answers.  On either I-pad I can’t control other speakers independent of the first selection running.  On the desktop app can control speakers independent of that is happening on app.What am I doing wrong?

I’ve upgraded my tv and so have changed Sonos soundbar to HDMI e-arc with ir signal to use Samsung tv remote.issue is that I have a Sonos play as single rear speaker grouped to use sometimes for movies etc. with optical setup the sync was perfect. With hdmi setup I have the 75ms delay that sounds terrible with soundbar 10 foot in front and single Sonos play 3 feet behind me.help please 

Sonos Sub gen 3 not updating and hence unable to add to home theater system - arc and surrounds era 100, what seems to be the problem?
