Hi alljust purchased a new ROAM SL and Sonos Voice Control does not show up in settings.I only see Alexa and Google Voice controls.I notices some (very old) messages pointing to router/dns issues. I'verebboted router changed two times DNS rebooted networks optionsbut SVC stilll does not show up.can you help ?EDIT : SONOS SL does not have microphone...sorry i missed that

Is it normal to have just one entry in the devices list in the router app if I have multiple devices grouped into one? On Google/Nest WiFi I think I saw each show up as their own entry but I recently switched to TP-Link Deco and I am only seeing one IP address. All the speakers work, fyi. 

Hi - other SONOS ARC owners have posted this issue previously but it did not reach a resolution so I am reposting.  I’ve just purchased a Sonos ARC and I’m having to constantly adjust the volume level up and down to compensate for the extremely low levels for dialogue vs action / music.  The dialogue levels are extremely low in any movie compared to action and music.  I am using the ARC with a Samsung 55 inch 2019 model.I have set night mode and speech enhancement on.  Still getting the same issue.  There appears to be no further adjustment / modes in the SONOS app to adjust dialogue to music / action balance other than reducing SubWoofer level.  DEAR SONOS team - surely this is a software setup issue which is resolvable?  Please let me know - really don’t want to send it back!! Quite bummed!  Love my Sub, Play 5 Gen 2 and Gen 1 and Play 3.  Thanks in advance for your timely solution to this issue.  

I keep getting Error 1000 when I try to set up my new ONE SL speakers. The update needed popup blocks me from using anything in the Sonos app and keep leading me to the error code. There's no way to bypass it and play existing speakers. Very frustrating! About to return all $2500 of speakers today!

I can browse my (very large) music library but not search it - what am I missing?

My Sonos Arc has been working fine the last weeks but a few days ago the audio from TV stopped working? Seems like the Audio Return Channel function just stopped?I still see the wallpaper from Sonos when I choose the HDMI - ARC source on the TV, but no audio. I have tried all the regular stuff like unplugging the HDMI, cutting power and fiddled around in the TV settings.TV: LG 65UH7700Sonos Arc+subnothing else attached to the TVThis seems to be a similar issue that many people have, but I have found no definitive fix. Any ideas?

Recently my Sonos app (Android) was upgraded to the “new, better” interface.  Now when I go to the app, it frequently shows me a page that says there are no connected products.  If I leave it long enough (anywhere from 10s of seconds to minutes), my system finally shows up.  This never used to happen - it’s only since this upgrade.  Any ideas on this?Thanks in advance. 

This may be a daft question but after sharing my music fold, via computer/ external hard drive, with the sonos app do I still need to  keep the hard drive connected to the computer and switched on when I want to play music from my folder.  I know that I could just disconnect it to see what happens but it has taken me days and hours to figure out how to do and for it to work.  My music includes all my vinyl that I transfered on to mini discs and more recently had digitalised which sounds great when played on my 2 sonos one's  as stereo. 

I note from the post announcing the New Search that local music library was not included.  I’m puzzled by this as I can’t be the only person who has hundreds of albums in their local library.  I have two questions:Why was the local library excluded from the local search? Do you have plans to retrofit it into the New Search, and if so when will this happen?

I have 1 SonosBeam (Gen2) and 2 SonosOne for surround. What is the recommended way to connect them to the network?Is it better to connect them to Wifi 2.4 GHz? or Wifi 5 GHz? (devices are close to the internet box)Is it best to connect the Beam to Ethernet?When I connect Beam to Ethernet, I can see that it is used as a Network switch with the other Sonos devices connect to Wifi. I am not sure if it is the best way to use it or not.Thank you

Just updated to the new Sonos app and Rome will not connect to the app. Information in the app says Rome is not registered. Let’s fix it. I keep going through the steps and it fails each time. I have done a factory reset and a reboot and nothing has resolved the issue

I thought it couldn’t get any worse. No fast scroll, no album art, no search.You’ve basically destroyed use of my music library.Now I want to listen to an album called “Trance Europe Express” that I’ve filed under the Album Artist “Trance Europe Express” because it’s a series of compilations and I get this  track 9, 3, 2, 10 etc.This is on both the Android app and Windows desktop. After playing this mess the Android app just crashes cyclically now.What else might suffer from the same thing? Thousands of pounds worth of equipment now no more than scrap.Apologies if someone else has pointed this out but a search of topics didn’t immediately show anything obvious.I don’t expect anything other than corporate platitudes so really don’t bother. I have two Sonos Play 1’s bought in 2017 and rarely used.  I like the look of the speakers which are stylish and discrete.  They were set up on my wifi in England and I thought I would use them more in my house in France.  I stream Apple music from my ipad.  However, the wifi network in France is not great as we have 500mm thick stone walls between the router and the sitting room - which is where I want to use the speakers as a connected pair.  I have lost the will to live whilst trying to get them onto the French wifi network and am thinking that I will upgrade to Era 100s using the 15% upgrade discount.   These speakers are advertised as offering Bluetooth connectivity.  However, my blood ran cold when I saw that you need to set them up initially using wifi!!!I now have two questions before I buy:Will the speakers work as a pair when connecting via Bluetooth?if so,Could I set them up on my English wifi and stream from my Ipad there and then bring them to France to continue to connect

Dear Sonos,The new app uploaded itself on apple devices and now my system is completely bricked/useless. I have ZERO components in my system. I have tried to factory reset it, doesn’t work. Tried resetting the app, doesn’t work. Tried to get hold of support to no surprise ZERO chat reps available at 10:30 eastern time, and 50 minute wait for support.Do you people sit in a room and make up ways to piss your consumers off, because you are AMAZING at it? This entire system is about 24 hours outside of going in the garbage can since i can’t use them anymore.

Hi Guys, Having a moose. I’ve bought a Samsung Flip TV for my business and the sound from the tv is poor. I’ve bought a Sonos Arc soundbar to then stream it through. Without realising that there is no HDMI arc or Optical out on the bloody expensive TV. The only thing there is is a 3.5mm audio jack.  The reason for the TV is to stream video which could come from a PC or any other streaming device.  Any idea how I could do this- Convert from the audio jack to an HDMIdirect the sound to the sonos and the visual to the TV - from the PC or other streaming device.Any other way of doing it?! Thanks in advance Will

Hi,A few days ago, I replaced my Gen 2 AMP with a Gen 3 AMP.  I did this so I can group together in the Sonos app, my analog speakers, Beam, and Roam speakers.  I was able to use the same cables that were connected to the Gen 2 AMP to connect everything to the Gen 3 AMP.  Unfortunately, now, the line-in won’t automatically switch to the TV when the TV is turned on.  This automatic switching process worked fine with the Gen 2 AMP.  Right now, using the Gen 3 AMP, the only way to select line-in is manually in the app.  I have set up within the app the ability to auto-select line-in when the TV is turned on.  The Source Level is set to A/V.Here is an example for my case:I listen to Sonos Radio all the time.  When I was using the Gen 2 AMP, if I turned on the TV the Gen 2 AMP would automatically switch to line-in and the TV show audio played on my analog speakers.  Now, with the Gen 3 AMP, if I listen to Sonos Radio, and then turn on the TV, the Gen 3 AMP does not sense the TV and switch t

Is it possible and/or has anyone tried to hook up a Sonos soundbar to an AVR’s zone 2 HDMI out? I would prefer a 2.1 channel setup for music, 3.1 channel setup for TV and movies, and 5.1 for video games, but I can’t install speaker wire across my living room, so my only option for surround is Sonos (or a much more expensive Piega WISA system). In this hypothetical, I would switch the output to zone 2 when playing xbox and then leave it in zone 1 for everything else. It would be awesome if Sonos allowed two channel listening from a tv, but apparently the intersection of people who want this and people who are Sonos users is exactly 1 person: me. Thanks for any help!

Hi, I am new to Sonos. I have connected Plex to Sonos and in the Sonos App, I can see and play tracks from a ‘music’ library (= speech tracks), but not the proper music library, I want to connect Sonos with. How can I switch and connect to the correct?Other Sources are not accessible if this is what I should look for. I get an error message to try later there.Changing the alphabetical order of the two libraries does not have any effect either. Also, and probably connected to the issue, I am able in plexampt to select sonos as the device to cast to, but the tracks remain mute or get skipped. Any hints what I should do very appreciated. 

Hi,After searching for an artist on Deezer, one of the options available is to play their “top tracks”. On the old S2 app this worked fine. I could search for the artist, select “top tracks” and then “play” or “shuffle play”.On the new Sonos app, I can get to the artist “top tracks” on Deezer, but then it only appears to let me play one track at a time. I can play a track, but once that track is finished it won’t move on to the next one. It just stops playing anything.Is this user error, bug, or planned feature? Can you advise how I can play an artist’s top tracks on Deezer please?Thank you.

I cant connect Sonos Connect to wifi or via Ethernet cable to the router. The app cant configurate the Product 

Following the update I cannot get my preferred radio stations to play, even through the new search function.

i can no longer see my music library or update it (says pinned content is no loger available) and cannot add Apple Music as content as it says it has expired and requires reauthorisation. Is anyone else expeiencing these problems

I want to build a surround system with 6 below speakers.■beam x1■One x1■One SL x1■Era100  x2■Sub miniI set beam as center, One and OneSL as Lear.However, the remaining two units cannot be incorporated into surround sound.Excluding the sub, I can only connect 3 speakers, and I would like the other two to be on the left and right front, but is that possible?

When will night mode button on the app be back?

Since the IT outage my two Sonos one SL’s have stopped working. I’ve factory reset them, found them and attached them to the WiFi but they are not showing on the app and I can’t turn on the speaker sound to give it commands. My beam and Roam are fine. Any help would be amazing, thank you.
