I have removed sonos app, siriusxm app, removed siriusxm from sonos app and added it back as well as rebooted router and still get ‘something went wrong’ when trying to play anything from siriusxm. streaming works in siriusxm app.

Why in the world was volume control removed from the iphone app????  This is very frustrating.

The App Volume menu closes within seconds  of opening.  Is there a way to keep the menu open for more than 3 seconds before making a choice?  it constantly closes as I am looking at the different volumes - very frustrating to keep reopening  it appears the only menu with a rapid/ quick dwell time - others remain open until closed

Hi all,I have a Sonos Arc in a surround setup with two Era 300’s and a Sub. I bought a Sonos Port to connect my turntable with build in amplifier to the setup but I can’t make it to work. When I try selecting the Arc to play it says “Unable to connect. Try again later.”Has anyone else had this problem and if so, do you know how to fix it?

Have had issue with the indexing of my Nas based Music Library I decided to try an tidy it up at file level.   First I must state that some of the library was impoirted from an iTunes library on my laptop an some was ripped directly into the destination without being “doctored” by iTunes.  Consequently, at Windows file level the shared folder on my NAS contains a variety of entries as follows:Some subfolders are named after the title of the album and contain all the album tracks Some are named after the artist with a subfolder for each album and the individual album tracks in those sub-folders Some have the artist name, with an album sub-folder containing just one track - these are from compilation albums. Before I start re-arranging these files my question is - does Sonos have a “preferred” structure, or do they all have to follow the same standard, or id it totally agnostic to this?   My preference will be to have each album in its own folder as that will make it easier to ensure the

My issue started happening about 5 or so days ago and after extensive troubleshooting, I now believe the problem came with a Sonos app update around that time.My setup:- Sonos Arc (soon to be Ultra) and 2 One SL surround speakers- LG OLED65G1PUA TV- Comcast services, including quantity 2 XR15 remote controls (both paired to the TV)My problem:If I hit Mute on the Comcast remote, I continue to get sound and the Mute icon on the TV is not displayed.  I should be getting no sound and a displayed Mute icon.If I hit Mute again, I get no sound and the Mute icon on the TV is constantly displayed (it doesn’t time out and go away). This, of course, is the opposite of the action that should happen.I have had the same setup (listed above) for about 2 years and it has always worked the way it should. This odd reverse action only started several days ago and I’ve been told there was a software update around that time.If a Sonos rep reads these posts, can you respond to let the Community know it is a

My Sonos amp is connected to my Sony tv via the Arc HDMI port, but it doesn’t recognize it.  I also have an Arc sound bar and it is connected via another HDMI port.  What do I need to do to get my tv HDMI arc port to recognize there is something there?

Sonus Roam wont play music. System sounds are audible but no music. Roam is recognized by controller on laptap and on phone. When Roam is powered on, mobile controller loses connection, but not laptop. Have rebooted phone, router and roam. Any ideas?

I've got the Sonos Web App on my Mac.  I have a system at work, a system at home, and one in my summerhouse. I've got connected to my home system, but can't find a way to change back to my other systems. I can logoff and on again, but it is inconvenient.

Hi there, I am new to Sonos having picked up a couple of s/h Play:1s with which I am very impressed. I decided to purchase a new Roam 2 as I liked the idea of using the voice functions etc. Last night I set an alarm for this morning and it didn’t go off. I have checked in the app and it is there set correctly and I have battery save turned off. I noticed that the lights were off on the unit and it wasn’t responding to voice commands. During the day I can see that it enters sleep mode with the lights off and non-responsive to voice. My question is, how does it work as an alarm if it goes into unresponsive mode? Am I missing something obvious?

A few months ago (post the big app update) I followed some advice here to get Swiss Jazz radio working again. This was basically to add a custom URL to TuneIn for the station, favourite it, then browse to TuneIn →  Favourites in the Sonos app and add it to Sonos Favourites. This worked and all was well. Now, this doesn’t work, I can click the link for the station in the Sonos app and it will not play. Other (predefined) stations work on tuneIn so I know the authorisation is okay. I’ve gone back through the steps I followed previously and can’t get it to work, two issues:Attempting to Favourite the station in the TuneIn app whilst its playing does not work, it asks for the name but does not save it - if I go Library the count against Favourites is 0. If I enter that section, there’s nothing there. Even if that did work, I can’t browse TuneIn favourites in the Sonos app, the section is not there under the TuneIn provider. Proven this by adding a predefuined station as a favourite in Tune

I recently came across a problem where I can’t connect a gen2 SUB to my stereo pair of Sonos Ones. App says I need a compatible speaker and only lists all the soundbars as being compatible. In the past I’ve had no issues connecting gen1,2 and 3 SUBS to a pair of Ones and also a pair of Play1s. Has something changed that I’m not aware of and can now only be connected to a soundbar? Thanks 🙏🏻

Does anyone have any experience with connecting Sonos Amp:connect devices to Meraki switches? I have just installed four Meraki switches, replacing some old Netgear switches. One switch acts as the core switch and the three other switches are connected via trunk ports. RSTP is enabled, core switch has a priority of 0, other switches are set to 12288, 20480, and 28672. STP guard is not enabled on ports. There are approx 14 Sonos Amp devices on the network with the majority plugged into one of downstream switches. The sonos devices were producing a number of bdpu and loop issues so we disabled the wireless on each sonos device as there is ample cabling. We have also now plugged in the majority of sonos devices into the core switch. We are no longer seeing bdpu or loop alerts but the devices are intermittently disappearing from the sonos controller s1 app (from the rooms view on the app). I have also noticed that I'm unable to ping the devices when this happens but then they suddenly come

Cannot use SONOS APP in my new iphone. Tried login SONOS APP with my acount , with my partner acount, tried create new acount… reset  the speakers, update the app, unpluge and plug again ….still  CAN NOT find my SONOS speakers. But my old phone still working. Any idea or sugestions, please?

I just bought my first Sonos product - the arc ultra. I see Sonos has an upgrade program. Is that exclusively for older products? Just owning the new soundbar, do I not get the upgrade discount? I’m looking to buy a couple of Era 300 speakers as surrounds and hoping I can use this upgrade discount for it. Thanks for the help!

I am deeply relieved to see Search for local Music library return to the mobile Sonos app for Android, since i have a large-ish music library on a NAS.Additionally, I am intrigued after this latest update to see a playlist show up in the mobile app that was never there before. It was created in Windows Media player. This is...interesting...to me, since one of the reasons I invested in Sonos was a feature that never came to fruition: the *advertised* ability to import playlists from iTunes. This feature *never* worked for iTunes on Windows. Perhaps it did for iTunes on Mac, but I don’t own a Mac. Suddenly, importing a playlist from Windows Media works, without me even trying? Odd, but I’ll take it.Anyhow - over the years, I have created 10+ Playlists in the Sonos S2 Desktop app (Version 16.2, Build 79153290), but these are no longer visible after the Android updates of the Summer of 2024.The playlists still display in the Desktop S2 app. Does anyone know how to make them visible to the m

I have a ZP80 and a ZP90 which both drop the signal when I’m using the RCA outputs. Both work fine when using the COAX output. I believe this is because the COAX out bypasses the Sonos DAC and instead uses the DAC in my amplifier. My problem is, I want to use one of these with an amp that doesn’t have a DAC (or a COAX input). So, my question is, is there some kind of software update (or reset) that will get these old ZPs working through the RCA outs? I use the S1 controller and have mostly older Sonos gear that all works fine on S1.Alternatively, should I buy an external DAC that I can control from my ZP (use the COAX or Digital outputs) and plug the DAC into my amp using RCA outputs? Or would this be throwing good money away on old gear?  Thank you,Scott

I hear a knock sound coming from my speakers

Since the last update I have a couple of my Amps that will no longer detect the Sonos speakers. I have factory reset the Amp but still no joy.I have also swapped speakers from amps that are detecting and still unable to trueplay.Anyone else see this?
