Hi, what is the issue with sonos?, everything worked fine with my sky router,  now ive upgraded to eeros, im having issues with the x2 play one, it was working yesterday for a while but now its not, it says no content , i tick both boxes on the app and all the sound disappears, i put the volume up on my tv remote and the beam only works, i absolutely loved them when they were working, absolutely amazing cinema sound, now im thinking of selling(forced to sell)j

As you have changed your router, have you considered that it may that that is causing the issue?🤔

Mesh networks can introduce a lot of issues for a number of reasons, especially if you have multiple nodes.  The easiest way to test is to wire one of your Sonos devices to the main Mesh Node via an ethernet cable.  If the issue goes away, you know it’s your Mesh network causing the issue.

Note: I got rid of my Google mesh network for this very reason.


Hi , thanks for your reply, looks like your first guess was right about the router being the issue, eero had the speakers on 5ghz, i reassigned the sonos products from the eero app to 2.4ghz and all is looking fine🤞i can love them again🙌


My beam 2 has suddenly stopped working tonight. Was showing spdif. Then I reset my wifi sting which seemed to go ok. No the app is showing no content. 
I’ve got beam 2 and a couple of Sonos ones connected to my lg g4 Fed up with Sonos lately. Seriously thinking about replacing my set up

Any suggestions?
