I've attempted to[b] unsubscribe from all Sonos marketing emails[/b] on multiple occasions, including contacting support. I continue to receive Sonos marketing emails despite all attempts. Has anyone successfully opted-out of Sonos marketing emails?

I have currently one Sonos play 3 and am looking at buying a Sonos beam sound at for a new Sony tv I was just wondering if I am able to connect the beam to the play 3 and use both speakers for TV sound? Thanks in advance

I'm doing a renovation at the cottage, and added 3 Sonos:CONNECT to drive in-ceiling, porch and wall speakers. Initially I hard wired a PLAY-1 to the back of the router, and that enabled the Sonos network to the rest. It worked, but sometimes dropped sync between them. I finally got around to hard wiring the new Sonos:CONNECT. I daisy chained 2 CONNECT to the router, and initially let the other CONNECT and PLAY-1 use the sonos wireless network. I then ran a new Cat6 line to the 3rd CONNECT that isn't located with the other 2, and tested the line. The hardwire line worked great with the computer, but as soon as I plugged in the 3rd CONNECT, the whole network crashed. No WiFi or internet anywhere. After lots of trial and error, I discovered that if I connected this new Cat6 network as a daisy chain from the basement CONNECT, and NOT directly from a port on the router, it worked again (after rebooting the router). Hi all - running across a strange issue. I have a Sonos Beam connected to my TV. I have several other devices connected that all output audio without issue (cable box, PS4, etc). However, when I dock my Nintendo Switch to play on my TV, I simply get no audio through the Beam. Interestingly, my TV also changes to my Beam's input whenever I connect the Switch. When I switch back to the Switch's input, I have video but no audio. Any ideas why this might be happening? Thank you!

Hi, so I'm looking for a way to wirelessly send audio, in this case CD, tuner and phono, from my old Kenwood receiver to wireless speaker(s) in my kitchen. I want to be able to play the same music out of the speakers connected to the current receiver at the same time. Is this possible with the Connect? If no, what would you reco to make this happen? I've tried the Denon HEOS an Onkyo NR575 to pull this off and neither works in one way or another

Sonos app said an update was needed. After update, Trueplay, EQ settings are not available. Under settings the following options are available: app settings, date and time, system, about, reset, submit diag. I am running iOS 9 on a iPhone 4s. What is really frustrating is that it has been working fine until the update. Help !!!

I just realized that my new Beam (ser #7828CA58F8F2F) has two ethernet ports instead of one ethernet and one HDMI-Arc port (which I'm told is the preferred connection to my TV), plus fiber. My new LG TV has an Arc-HDMI port but I had to connect Beam via fiber audio as the new Beam does not have HMDI. Hmmmm... Is this an older model Beam that Best Buy sold me last month? Is Arc-HDMI still the preferred connection to a high-end TV? Why does my new Beam not have an HDMI port then when Sonos docs tell me to connect via ARC-HMDI if my TV supports it (which it does)? Help please... I want to optimal connection from my LG TV to Sonos Beam.

if I connect a new source into the new Sonos Amp line-in, will I be able to stream/play that source on any airplay2 speaker? (i.e. will it show up on my iPhone as an airplay 2 source?)

I understand that HDMI can transmit the newer Hi-res audio formats, but is there any advantage to using optical over HDMI for audio? The PLAYBAR only has an optical connection so I was thinking this must be because optical transmits a cleaner signal, but I wasn’t sure.

I had my receiver ports go bad on me, and instead of replacing it, I decided to get a play bar. Overall, it sounds nice, but I would like to take advantage of my other components which are now sitting idle. I have a very nice sub, and rear channel speakers. So what I am trying to figure out is if I purchase the connect:amp, would I be able to power the rear speakers, and also include the sub (self powered). I read through the FAQ here https://support.sonos.com/s/article/2237?language=en_US , which addresses the speakers. It looks like those would be driven properly. So it really just ends up dealing with the sub. My ultimate goal is to utilize what I already have by purchasing the connect:amp. It would save me a lot of money, and the speakers I can't confirm are 'better' than purchasing Sonos 1, but I do not have power where they would be located... which would required a lot more work and expense. Just setup the Sonos One. All steps were followed and setup went smoothly, However it is not responding to any commands. It does acknowledge the command where I ask to play music, but doesn't complete the action. Diag:8022698

Beam is connected via the HDMI Arc to a brand new LG TV. Since setting up the audio will only work through the Beam. The TV will switch to the internal speaker through the menu and immediately switch back to Arc. Would like to hear TV sound late at night and not have the beam going. Not sure why it won't allow the different sound output. Help!

And one of the question I asked was about the international warranty of the product as I am going to gift to my brother in Manila, Philippines. He mentioned it would have international warranty as long as I bought it in sonos.com BUT when I'm looking around here in the forum I saw a question about international warranty and you guys are only honoring region base warranty. That is why I'm a bit confuse right now w/c really is it?

I hooked up my Playbar to my Samsung 4K tv. Previously the tv volume would display volume number when i changed the volume. With the Playbar there’s no volume display on the tv when I change volume. How do I get the Playbar to show volume number on tv like it did previously with tv volume? My wife sometimes complains Playbar volume too high since I can’t see a volume number. Thx.

So here is the set up: I have a basement that has a ceiling mounted projector (Optoma DH1009). The HDMI cable goes through the ceiling to the wall. I had a Vizio soundbar and an old Apple TV (HDMI direct from wall to Apple TV, and an optical cable from the Vizio soundbar to the old Apple TV. I wanted to upgrade so I got a Sonos Beam (with Sub and 2 One's) and the new Apple TV 4k. But .... I cannot get it to work. I thought I could if I got an HDMI splitter feeding out of the Apple TV and one each into the projector and Beam. But the Beam does not recognize it as ARC and so asks me to connect via optical cable. But, the Apple TV does not do Optical, so I can't fo that. Any suggestions (other than going back to the old Apple TV but keeping the Beam (which I have done)?

I successfully added a Beam to my current home setup a week ago. However, when I had to reset the router, the Sonos app could not find any speakers. I re-established connection with the other speakers by using an ethernet cable to a Play:1 - but the Beam did not show up. All other speakers showed up on the app. I ran through the "Add speaker" in the app again, tried ethernet cable, but still no Beam. The light on the Beam is steady white. When I unplug the Beam, and plug it back in, the light blinks white, then becomes solid white.

Hi all, So I currently have a Sonos One in my (fairly small) living room and I love the sound quality on it. I'm thinking of upgrading to a Beam for the living room though as my TV needs a soundbar and it seems like the perfect fit. My question: Is the sound quality of music on the Beam good enough to replace the Sonos One I currently have (and I could then move the One to another room)? How does the sound quality for music on the Beam compare to the One / Play 3 / Play 5? Many thanks

Are there any apps (3rd party even) that will allow me to “DJ” over my Sonos Connect: Amps? I’d like to be able to mix in songs and fade them in and out. A little scratching would be mix too!
