Sonos works fine if I run it from my phone. However, once I upgraded to Mohave on my Mac Air, the Sonos app got stuck and I can't do anything with it. It won't close, play, or delete. Can someone tell me what is the most recent model of the Connect (dates on the bottom of device)? I have seen devices with copyright dates of 2004-2009 and 2004-2013 and I want to know if there's a newer model.

Can I use Connect to use my Bose Cinemate II system speakers (includes 2 speakers and a sub)? I ask because the FAQs suggest it can only connect 2 speakers (and mine has... well 3 including the sub).

How do you get these three thing to work together ? When I try to link Apple Music and Alexa together I only see Spotify and Pandora. Doesn't the Play One support both services ?

Hi, I have a Sharp LC-60LE550U TV. I bought a Sonos Playbar, but the TV does not send audio signal to the soundbar. Did some research and all comments claimed this is Sharp's issue. Yes, I set the audio output to variable. NO MORE SHARP TV FOR LIFE! I am planning to buy a new TV and move the Sharp TV to the game room for my son to play his xbox. Where can I find a list of "supported" TV manufacturer on sonos website? Also, how can I tell if the TV is supporting DD 5.1? Thanks

Hi, Does anyone know if you can turn the Sonos One microphone light off? I'd like to do this without disabling the microphone. I have this in the bedroom and would rather there wasn't a light showing when I'm trying to sleep. I know you can turn off the LED light in the settings but there doesn't seem to be an option for the microphone light. If I have to disable the microphone, I'll be doing this every night and then turning it back on in the morning. Thanks

I am toying with buying 2 x Sonos 1 speakers as opposed to Sonos 5. Do you have to have Alexa, etc , for the Sonos 1 to work, or is just an extra feature not needed to listen to music?

I want to set up my Sonos network. My router is in a different room will not have music, does a Boost do what the Bridge use too?

I have just received two Sonos One speakers. I set them up in the Sonos iOS app and then in the Amazon Alexa app. All seemed to work well. I created a group in Alexa in order to play the same music on both speakers. When I request Alexa to play music on group "Sonos" (the name of the group I set up), only one speaker plays. If I use the Sonos app to group the two speakers, the music plays on both as expected. I would think I could tell Alexa to "Play music" on any single speaker and it would play on that speaker. If I tell Alexa to "Play music on Sonos" it would play on both the speakers within that group. Is this a known issue?

Just installed the latest update, maybe a few months work, and Alexa has stopped working. The mic light is white but she doesn’t respond or pause playing when you make a request. Tried removing the Sonos skill from the Alexa app & re-adding with no success. Please help?

Lost a power cord for connect amp during move,where can I get replacement?

I haven't been able to complete tuning (too many people in my summer place!) but vocals and system chimes and beeps are distorting on my new Beam. Is this normal before tuning or might I have a bad speaker inside the unit?

My Beam is connected through ARC and works fine with the TV. However, if I switch to playing music via Amazon of apple my tv remote no longer controls the beam’s volume and I have to use the app or voice controls. Is this by design or is there a way to change this?

Hi, I've just setup an Alexa-group with my different Sonos speakers, Kitchen, Livingroom and Dining room. I've named the Alexa group "All speakers", and set all the Sonos Speakers as preferred speakers. This works fine as I can play the Spotify music on all the speakers by saying: "Alexa, play music on all speakers". But I still cannot change the volume on all the speakers at the same time. When saying "Alexa, raise the volume on all speakers", it only raises the volume on one of them. I can raise the volume by telling Alexa to do that room by room. But that is not fast enough. I always need to pick up my phone and open the Sonos App in order to change the volume on all speakers at the same time, which kind of takes the edge off using Alexa as the controlling device for my Sonos Speakers. I know that it has been a problem to change the volume on multiple sonos speakers previously through Alexa, but I'm wondering if that is possible now with the new Alexa grouping? In that case

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I am new to the idea of on-line communities so am a 'learner driver' and couldn't find an answer to my problem by searching... I have an Amazon Echo Dot and a Sonos Play 1 speaker. My Echo Dot is linked with the Sonos speaker with the Sonos skill on Alexa. I have opened a subscription to Amazon Unlimited Music on my Echo Dot only - single device subscription. I can stream Amazon Unlimited Music (Playlists, tracks, albums etc) to my Echo Dot, playing through its own speaker / through a Bluetooth connected speaker / through a cable connected speaker. I can stream my Amazon on-line 'My Music Library' (ie music which I have purchased from Amazon) to all of these AND to my Sonos speaker. I can't stream any Amazon Unlimited Music to my Sonos speaker, even though I have a subscription service. I cannot understand why I can play this music service on any speaker other than the Sonos..! I have raised this with Amazon customer service

Thinking of trying optical to help with the lip sync issues I have with my Sky Q STB and LG C8 TV. Will I notice any difference in sound quality?

I seem to be one of a number of Sonos owners who is having trouble with the latest controller update to 9.3. Some controller devices seem to have achieved a 9.3 update however, all my PC and ipad and android phone devices still start up with a request to update everything. The only way I can partially access my Sonos system is overriding the update and click on 'continue using controller'. This only shows some of the rooms being available for use as other rooms are greyed out and inaccessible. However, even trying to use the Sonos system this way, all media sources keep cutting out after seconds/minutes for a short time. I have submitted a diagnostic report 879747506. Nothing has changed on my system for several years. Nothing has been moved etc. A similar problem occurred a few years ago which was also most frustrating and it took Sonos to release an update 'fix' before my system returned to normal. Any help?

I have several sonos speakers throughout my house. Before the update I was able to group my speakers in my Sonos app (example: TV room) and tell Alexa to play music in TV and it would play on all the speakers that are grouped with TV room. Now when I say play music on TV room it only plays on the one speaker. How do I get Alexa to play on multiple speakers with one command?

Hi, I have two Play 1 speakers which I control with an Echo dot. The speakers are called 'Conservatory' and 'Everywhere' and on the Sonos app I have grouped the two speakers into a 'room'. This allows me to say 'Alexa Play Music Everywhere'. Recently I have found frequently the room (group) loses its setting (two to three times day at least). Sometimes it can be playing music fine then when you ask Alexa to play a different song the grouping is lost. It is probably worth adding that one of the speakers (Conservatory) uses a Wifi access point (with the same SSID). The Sonos speakers are set to automatically update. The speakers have only recently started de-grouping in the last few weeks, is anyone else having this issue or have I set it up wrong? Any help appreciated! Gruss

I would like to have continuous music playing - like cox cable music for 24 hours or more. I don't want to leave my computer or phone on the entire time. Do I have any options with Sonos???

Hi I have a 5.1 setup (Playbar, sub and two PLAY:1) and a Philips 55POS9002/12 TV. All of a sudden, TV-sound starts stuttering when TV sound is set to Multichannel or Multichannel (Bypass). When in Stereo, sound works. I have had this setup for months without any issues, but I believe the problem was introduced with the latest SONOS update :-(. Does anyone else have this problem? Wondering if someone can please explain what I need to do to get Dolby digital setting on my samsung tv. The Dolby digital option is greyed out and won’t let me change to anything only thing it allows me to select is pcm. I’m using a beam and 2x play ones in the about my sonos section of the app it says my audio input is stereo. There doesn’t seem to be a way for me to change my tv settings, when I try and change them on my Xbox it says to make sure my receiver is able to support (5.1 uncompressed) and when I change my sky a settings to Dolby digital the sound from the soundbar stops. I seem to only be able to receive stereo with this beam and it’s very frustrating

My new Sonos Beam is connected to my TCL TV with a HDMI Arc. I've then installed Amazon Alexa on my beam. If my TV is turned on, and I say : 1. "Alexa, turn [b]off[/b] TV", she responds with "OK" and IT WORKS 2. "Alexa, turn [b]on[/b] TV", she responds with "OK" and IT WORKS 3. If I wait 2-3 minutes with my TV turned off, and then tries to turn it back on with Alexa, she responds "OK" but nothing happens. I then have to turn the TV on manually. She responds perfectly with any other commands I give her, regarding Spotify etc. But there seems to be some kind of problem between Sonos beam/Alexa and my TCL TV. Does anyone know about this problem, and a possible solution? Greetings, Alexander
