Sonos AMP Connected to TV and Surround Sound L+R with Sonos Play 5 Fronts?

I have two conventional rear ceiling speakers wired to a Sonos AMP connected to my TV via HDMI ARC. Can I connect a pair of Play 5 (2nd Gen) speakers and use these as the Front Left and Front Right in a surround sound set-up? It doesn't seem like the software will let me add the AMP as surround speakers and pair up the fronts at the same time. Thanks

There's no Sonos option to take a Dolby Digital input and send the front speaker information to the PLAY:5s.

You can either power a pair of your own speakers with a Sonos Amp, with a phantom center speaker, or you can use one of the Sonos sound bars (PLAYBAR, PLAYBASE, or Beam), all of which have all three front channels in them.
