I have a Sony 65X850D TV and a Sonos Playbar. My service is Verizon and TV is working off an Arris VMS1100 DVR. Since installing the TV and Playbar I get persistent sound drops. I have spoken to Verizon many times and they have been to my house several times but the problem continues. Now Verizon tells me they are aware of issues with Sonos and they are working with SONOS to fix it. At this point i have to watch TV using the TV speakers. It is definitely an issue with the Arris box since I have no issues with sound drops while using SONOS apps like Netflix or Amazon Firestick. When will this be fixed? I want use my Playbar !

Hi all, I'm currently moving from high rise condo to a house. Currently, my (small) living room set up is 2 play 1s, sub, and a turntable, which has been great for when I just want to have a drink and spin some jazz alone or have a small group of friends over where listening to music is the focal point (I put critical in quotes in the title because I understand the difference between that and audiophile "critical" listening). I plan on expanding to a full sonos 5.1. I'm not huge on movies, but my wife is and I imagine kids will enjoy it in the future. For people who are equal home theater/music enjoy-ers, what's the solution? Is having music playing from rear speakers (especially for music where stereo separation is a part of the experience) as enjoyable for you? Do you just physically move play 1s in front of you in the instances where you are focusing on music? Is it easy on the app itself to go from 5.1 to 2.1 and back? I've heard people say listening to music on full mod

I used to be able to access my subscribed podcasts on Google Play through the Sonos Controller. After recent updates, when I go to Google Play -> Podcasts -> Your Podcasts, it shows "No selections are available." However I double checked and if I go to Google Play -> Podcasts -> Your Podcasts, it shows all of them. Is there a bug in the new release? Anyone know how to get them back?

.. as the title says..? I have now connected my "Sonos Connect" over the wifi instead of using SonosNet from another device due to drop outs..(longer story, not relevant at this point) But now i cant use the ethernet ports on the connect as a switch? Can they be used when it´s on wifi somehow?

I have Sonos speakers and Echo dots in two houses. I activated the Sonos skill in the first house and all is good for using Alexa to control the Sonos speakers in the first house When I go to the second house and search for devices, the Echo dot does not find the Sonos. Is it not possible without using a second Amazon account?

Hi I have just picked up a Flexson Vinylplay turntable as I want to add Vinyl to my current Sonos set up Which is the best/cost effective way of connecting it to my system? Sonos Connect? Sonos Connect Amp? ZP80? Or ZP90? I’m currently running playbar with a pair of play ones in the living room and several play ones dotted around the house.....also what’s people’s view on the Sub is it worth the outlay?

While watching TV, Sonos playbar stopped working suddenly. It is not playing music from TV or appearing on the Sonos app. When I open up songs app it gives me a message that 'It looks like one of your speakers could be unplugged. Go to Room settings to see which one is missing' I have checked the playbar and it is connected to power. Any ideas? thanks

Anyone know if the Sonos Amp will have the opportunity to connect to other Sonos-speakers for “surround” use. Center speaker will probably not be possible, but it would be great it you could have a 4.1 system when connected to a television.

I'm having an issue with my new Sonos AMPs and AirPlay working across VLANs. This setup is in a corporate environment. The Sonos lives on it's own subnet (VLAN 10), and guests connect to another (VLAN 20). I have a Bonjour gateway configured so that devices on VLAN 20 can see the Sonos advertising AirPlay on VLAN 10. Also, for the purposes of troubleshooting, I've allowed all traffic between both VLANs. This is working as expected, clients can connect and begin streaming. The issue I'm having is that I'm experiencing random 1-2 second dropouts, and after ~15 minutes the connection will completely drop. A packet capture shows everything humming along just fine until the Sonos sends a TCP reset and the client disconnects. The issue does not occur when both devices are on the same VLAN. Dear all, I'm really interested in getting the home theater setup, but as I'm from a part of the world with quite a bit lower average income, I view this as a "strategic" buying decision. Basically, if I start buying Sonos stuff, I'm committed, and Sonos stuff ain't cheap. But it sure does seem great. To that end, I have a number of questions, since I'll be buying Sonos ordered from abroad, and I will have no way of returning it. I need to be sure what I'm getting. This is why I will be extremely appreciative for any and all the help I get here and now. As a bit of a cash-strapped person, I plan 5.0 setup. Beam + 2x play:1(or Ones). It will be placed in a relatively small living room. If there is a cheaper sub sometime in the future, I might get it, but at 800€ (aprox. $900) that it would cost me, there's no way I can afford it. Hi, I never had any issue with true play before, but yesterday I purchased a second play5 gen2 in order to create a surround with my first play5 gen2 and combined with a playbase. After maybe 10 trials I have still the same issue with trueplay. It’s coming up with the following message: cover more of your room, you’re not walking around enough, please walk all around your room, both close to your speaker and further away. Unfortunately I tried walking everywhere, and I tried with both speakers horizontal and vertical. Restarting my iPhone. Can anyone help me please?

I guess I already know the answer - no. In fact I want to remove the 'Update Now' icon - I don't want an update and don't need to be reminded everytime I use the desktop app.

Got the new amp when it was on the website last week. Replaced my 5.1 with real center channel speaker running off a Yamaha amp with the new amp and a connect:amp for the hard wired ceiling mounted rears. Removed the Yamaha amp and the center speaker. Everything works beautifully together, sound is great for music, but the "phantom" center channel that replaced my actual center speaker is just not doing it for me. Sounds a little like the problems others are reporting for the Beam. At low volume, I have to jack up the volume to hear the dialog and it just doesn't sound anywhere near as good as what I had. Then something loud happens and I have to dial the sound way back down. Unlike with the beam, there are no controls at all for the dialog for the new amp. No night mode, no dialog boost, etc. Is there anything I can do to improve the center channel sound from this thing, or do I take advantage of the 60 day return policy and go back to my old setup? I really like everything

I was really happy with my relationship with Sonos when they made high end speakers and were content with that as a business model. But now they seem to want my data, so much so that I can't use the speakers without sharing some data about myself and my usage. I'm no longer happy to be in that relationship with them. How do I delete my account? The speakers are going on craigslist.

Hi everyone, recently purchased a couple of Sonos One's which I have as a stereo pair in my living room. The last few nights I have noticed something a little odd. When listening to Google Play Music or Spotify at around 30% volume, on some tracks some of the bass notes are much louder than the rest of the song. It's sounds quite weird, like the drummer is giving the bass drum a hard thwack but only on certain notes. The music I was playing at the time was 80's/90's rock and indie and I have the equalizer at around 70% bass/treble. I have done the trueplay setup and loudness is on. Has anyone else come across this? Thanks

So, yes, I know there have been a few threads on this subject but I still don't have a solution. I've moved house recently and only have half the rooms set up with four rooms. My controller has five rooms. I can't just reset the unwanted room/speaker as it doesn't exist. Anyone else had the same issue recently please?

My tv has been working fine with hdmi arc to beam plus sub and play1 rears. Yesterday the tv reverted to its own speakers. I changed settings to use hdmi again and it worked. Now it’s happened again but I can’t get same fix to work. It says connecting and takes some time but no audio from the Sonos speakers. Any ideas? Could it be a sonos update has affected connection?

Every time I use SonosOne to ’play’ the audio from my Apple TV it gets cut off constantly. This happens with different apps (Netflix, Dazn, Crave Tv, Prime video, etc). Considering that could be an internet connection issue I connected the SonosOne via cable to my modem but it did not get the issue solved. It there any way to get this fixed?

I have a room where i have Optomauhd40 projector in the roof in the back of the room. Also at the back of the room i have ps4 pro, 2x Sonos ones and a Sonos Connect. I have tried to pull optical line from the connect to the projector and from the ps4 pro to the connect but cannot get it working. I dont want to pull a wire from the beam to the projector/ps4 pro. Anybody who has experience of this situation? I have read tons of writings but still dont have a clear solution for this. I did unfortunately learn that the PLAYBAR does not support DTS which is unfortunate, but it still sounds great! I register a new remote, and press the volume + button, which is registered within the app. Then it asks me to press the volume + button 3 times, which is registered within the app. Then it asks me to press the volume - button 3 times, which is registered within the app. Then it asks me to press the mute button 3 times, which the SONOS PLAYBAR will not recognize no matter what I do. My Beam continues to play the audio from the TV after shutting it off with the cable box/TiVo remote. I have it connected via the optical cable into my cable box. I have to either manually volume down on the beam or use the app to mute it. Any ideas?

I have one of my Sonos One speakers not working properly with Alexa commands. It responds ok when I say “Alexa” but does not respond to all commands. It used to work fine, but now it doesn’t. Example - I will ask Alexa to play top hits on pandora and it will fine, but when I say “Alexa STOP or PAUSE” Alexa beeps continues to play. I can only stop or pause if I go into the sonos apps on my IOS device. I have tried to disable and delete devise and reset and reinstall, but same thing happens. Any advice? I have other Sonos One speakers that are working fine, just having issue with this one.
