I have a Sony X900h and Sonos Arc connected via eArc and both of them updated to the latest settings.  Occasionally I’ll get sound drops from the arc where it cuts out for about 5-15 seconds.  I don’t have to do anything as it’ll come back on its own eventually but there’s no rhyme or reason it seems. Here are a couple of diagnostics I took after it happened. 611569649 455238316 1830209319I’d appreciate it if any ‘mods’ stopping by were able to take a look at these.

When you cast something using it to a Sony TV x950h is the sound not as loud. Seems like I have to turn it up a lot louder to hear it.   i have the new Sonos Arc and Gen 3 Subwoofer.   Just got this today with the new TV.   I am at 53 volume to hear it.  

What kind of Sonos equipment do i need to connect this to Sonos:   1 cd player denon 1 amp nad 1 turntable rega Should’nt connect all just with one port?

Hi, I recently moved from using the old Bridge to using S2. Since then the connection has been unstable for most of my Sonos speakers; it either doesn’t play, or keeps stopping. We use a mesh wifi system in the house, and we also have issues with Alexa connectivity now. Its intermittent, although she says she is doing something it doesn’t actually happen that often.  I would much appreciate a solution to the above, and understand we will have to work through a number of diagnostics first. I’ve ruled out as much as possible within my knowledge base. 

Hi all, Looking for some help, maybe someone has had a similar issue.I have a Sonos One in the living room that when i ask to play music using the alexa function it plays on my office speaker too. Even if i specify “play xxx in the living room” it still plays in the office. The speaker in the office is the older Play 1.  I’ve ungrouped them on the app, thinking that might be the problem ( the last time used may have been as a pair/group so it continues) but as soon as i used another voice command in the living room on the Sonos One, it was back to playing on both. Just wondered what i might be missing. Short of resetting everything and starting fresh i’m not sure what to do! ThanksPaul

I am trying to add Google Assistant to Sonos. Each time I try to do so, the Google Assistant app says that no devices are found. I've reset my router factory reset my Sonos one with no luck. 

Hi Everyone Is there a way to stop Google being so vocal when it replies to commands like turning off the lights? On my Google home device it just chimes but on my Sonos One it replies with some thing like. "OK turning off three lights". All the devices are in the same room.    Thanks Ryan

Does the Sonos 2 app allow for high resolution playback now, or does it just enable it for future use? my system is updated but a search will not show any Tidal Masters tracks.

Hi I updates app and sonos system (ARC and gen3 sub) to 12.2.2 today.After I went to check for updates via the app and it said app needs an update despite it all being up to date.I clicked on update and it opened the app store sonos S2 app, but no update is available as its already updated.Seems like a small bug, so just to make you aware.

I am having issues connecting to iHeartRadio and Sonos radio.. When I try and connect to either I get a message that says “Sonos (or iHeartRadio) needs to be re-authorized. I “re-authorize” the account and I try and connect again and it does the same thing ALL over again…     It worked when I originally set the system up about 6 weeks ago. Now it’s stopped. I have reset the speaker. Deleted and re-installed the app. Reset the modem. Updated both the Sonos app and the Sonos speaker. (Both were up to date) Still the same issue……  Customer support is lacking/disinterested.  Hoping maybe someone has an idea…  This thing is beginning to be more trouble than it’s worth...

My default set up is to have my one sl in the office, one in the dining room and, beam in the living room connected to the main TV. However, I regularly stereo pair the one and sl together in the dining room and when watching movies I will set up the one and sl as surrounds with the Beam in the living room.When using the trueplay feature, does this overwrite all exisiting sound settings for each speaker or does it just alter the sound settings for the speaker in a particular room/ configuration?It would be good to have a feature that allows the speaker settings identified using the trueplay set up to be rememberred, so we don’t have to use trueplay everytime speakers are moved to get the most of the set up.Alternatively, sonos could create a saved configuration option, so don’t have to unpair from stereo in the dining room before setting up the surrounds in the living room. Could just select ‘custom config 3’ as an example and the set up would happend automatically. 

We are researching installing a Epson 2250 projector and adding Sonos Beam as the sound bar and then adding Sonos SL units for surround. We also need the ability to connect a Nintendo Switch.Epson 2250 only has 1 HDMI 2.0 port so we are looking for options to split the single port to be able to connect the Sonos Beam for audio and also use the Nintendo Switch. Is there a special HDMI switch that will allow for constant audio to the Beam but also allow for other HDMI inputs to be used?Thanks for any assistance.Forrest

I've tried everything that everyone else has tried, but it's just dead. The app finds it and I get up to the point where it tells me it’s switching over to its own wifi connection, then it fails. I’ve tried it a dozen times. I’ve tried directly to the router using two different network cables in case I had a bad one. I’ve rebooted the router, the modem, the unit the phone several times. I’ve deleted the app twice and reloaded it. All my other Sonos devices have no problems.I’ve tried calling support three different times on three different days and each time I was put on hold for over half an hour or longer before they disconnected or hung up on me. I even got up early in the morning (PST) last week hoping to get in a short line but the same thing happens. Put on hold then disconnected. I even tried their chat but it's not working on their site. It's a shame since I’m a partner in an AV company and we have installed hundreds of Sono products but I can’t even get mine to work.it's out o

My Sonos connect was working fine, then just stopped (lost connection on SONOS) ethernet lights were solid green/ amber. Disconnected and switched off and on, white light flashed but system couldn’t recognise its existence. Switched off / on again but this time no white light. This is now how it appears. Has it finally packed up?

When is Sonos going to keep up with Google Assistant and support other countries.I am an English speaker and live in Malaysia. Google Assistant is available here but does not show up on the Sonos supported countries list - when will this be addressed please.B.

Obviously there have been a lot of conversations with these various hardware pieces working together. I am just trying to get un update now that there has been a firmware update on the LG CX and the Arc has been updated as well within the month. Can anyone put together a complete setup; settings; use guide for these items to ensure that it works optimally. Also, an order of operations on how to plug/unplug and set all of this up.Hopefully my Arc set will be here soon (returning my Denon AVR receiver & new Sub) and would just like to hit the ground running. Previously, my ATV 4k was plugged in to the AVR and would go crazy and switch back and forth between TV sound & Multi so that I would have to reset it-making it completely useless and no one had any answers (LG, Apple nor Denon). I went against my better judgement with this setup and am hoping the Arc setup will make things easier.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’ve got a Sonos Arc connected to my LG GX via HDMI ARC. I’m using Amazon Alexa for voice control via the Arc.When saying “Alexa, turn off TV” the Arc flips the current power state, while “Alexa, turn on TV” works correctly. In other words:TV is off, say “Alexa, turn off TV”, TV turns on TV is on, say “Alexa, turn off TV”, TV turns off TV is off, say “Alexa, turn on TV”, TV turns on TV is on, say “Alexa, turn on TV”, TV stays onThe one I underlined is unexpected behavior. Instead I expect the power to stay off. I have a routine when I leave home to turn off all the lights and devices in my house. So instead this often turns on my TV unexpectedly.

Hello,one of our clients uses SONOS products in their building, its like a 30 devices, from ONEs to AMPS, Beams and Bars. Two sonos gateways. Whole devices was on LAN cable, but after adding Beam to the controller whole system crashes, older devices starts to disappear. After putting everything on wifi it seams to stabilize but after some time i notice that on my ping program the whole system loses connection instantly, like a switching On and Off. Maybe you can suggest a solution or if there is some specific way to manage all these devices.P.s. Amps are not even added to controller yet, do not know what will happen after we add them...

How do you add your partner or another user to your sonos app. My wife would like to listen to her audible account. Help appreciated

One of our Nexus 9 tablets recently went into “eternal reboot” and we have had to do a factory reset/Android “recover from cloud” operation. Which was fine, except it doesn’t restore what was there, bur reinstalls the Apps from scratch.So, suddenly, we have SONOS S1 app appearing instead of the v10.3 of the app that was there originally.It is correct, as we only have the old S1 kit (9 older units), all at the same upgrade state as the V10.3 software.BUT:We also have six Nexus7 V2s as Sonos controllers distributed round the house. These had a final upgrade (August 2016) on Android 6.01, and could only run up to Sonos V10.3 (build 51166240). Yes, Sonos V10.3 eternally nags about “update available” and “upgrading our device” – which is not possible. So we have stayed at V10.3 as everything is still fine and we don’t want to buy 6 new tablets just for “upgrading” to Sonos S1, as the old ones work fine for all our other uses.Of course, running S1 on the recovered tablet just brings up a loa

Hello.  Folks here have been very helpful.  Thank you for that.  May I ask for some help? I recently added 4 new devices to my Sonos set-up.  They are noted here as Reagan’s Room, Classroom, and GarageA and Garage D.   Only these new devices seem to be coming back as Undefined and in white boxes.  I’ve tried to find whether this is normal or important (problem) and I’m confused.  Is this a problem? I have some devices by ethernet where I can and others relying on wireless.   The only issues I’ve had involve:   I had two drop-outs of audio last week for about 30 seconds. I’ve had issues where my Sonos controller on the iPhone (the one I use the most) is very slow to connect to the entire system and even play/pause seems to have glitches.  Had to re-start the app a few times.   Otherwise, I’ve tended to play just fine.  Some of my “orange” zones go back/forth between red/orange/green (connected by ethernet) but I haven’t worried to much about them as otherwise all seemed to work.   Thank

Hi all,I have recently purchased a Sonos Connect Amp to power bathroom ceiling speakers. As I only need one speaker in the bathroom, I have decided to run the second channel to another single speaker in an adjoining bathroom. I understand I won’t be able to play music to each bathroom separately but I’m wondering how I wire these speakers so that each single speaker plays both L and R channels (Dual mono is what I think it’s called but only available on newest Sonos Amp, not the connect)Ideally I’d still want to be able to pan audio entirely to just the one speaker if I had to. I just need the amp to output both L and R channels through the single output.Any help would be appreciatedCheers 

Suddenly, this just started happening.All speakers are wireless.  I am connected to a WiFi Matrix (Orbi).The external connection is awesome.The internal connection hasn’t changed - no new devices.I am at a complete loss as to how to debug.  I can’t change the SonosNet channel.I also don’t know how to change the Sonos WiFi channel.The TV works to the Playbar and then to Play:1 / Subs.It is just internet playback… I am running Sonos2. I have googled the forum and didn’t find any recent reasons for this to happen.  Or the ability to debug.
