Hi all.  I have a Sonos One and I assumed I could pair it with my Win10 laptop but I can’t see anything in the app to help me pair it.  My laptop can see it in Bluetooth but I can’t connect.  Any advice?

Hi,I have a Sonos Beam and (independently) two Sonos Ones set-up as a stereo pair. All speakers are in my lounge and both use the S2 app on my iPhone.The Sonos Ones play fine and the Beam plays content from my TV with no problem.I wanted to use the Sonos Ones as surround speakers for the Beam, but when I try to do this in the S2 app (using the app’s set-up Wizard) I get the following error message,“Two compatible Sonos speakers are required to add surrounds. Make sure your products are powered on and connected to wifi.”All my speakers are on and working fine (independently) on the same wi-fi network. One of my Sonos Ones is in fact directly connected to the router by an ethernet cable (I get this error message whether this ethernet cable is connected or not - I’ve tried both ways).I’ve tried re-booting the Sonos Ones, and this hasn’t fixed anything. The only thing I haven’t tried yet is turning the Beam on and off.Any help/ideas are much appreciated.Many thanks,Stu

I’m interested in purchasing an Arc but have read several reviews wherein owners of certain Samsung TVs are having issues with compatibility.  I have a 2019 65” Q80 TV.  It has no eArc HDMI port, but does have an Arc HDMI port.  Are there issues I should be aware of and can I be assured that I can experience ATMOS?Thanks,ZJS 

Can someone please explain why there are constant and unending reminders to check for S2 compatibility on the apps? I am not a moron. I understood after the first check I cannot run S2. No matter how many times I am asked to check, no matter how many times i see a ridiculous notification, I will never discard perfectly good hardware. All this has done is provoke me to seek alternatives to Sonos which I am now implementing rather than make any further Sonia investments. But back on point, does anyone understand the reasoning behind this offensive behavior? Thank you.

Hi all, A couple of weeks ago, yousee musik stopped allowing multiple streams to the same Sonos system (at least for my system).Have anyone else experienced this? And  do you know, if this is a bug or a new limitation from Yousee musik?BR Torben

Do Trueplay settings reside on the iPhone itself via S2, or in the speaker itself?  Reason for asking is if I set Trueplay up through one iphone but actually use another when listening. 

Hi! Recently bought a TCL ep685 and have connected my Beam to it. Audio is good, but have some sync issues here and there. If I turn the TV on/off it’s usually back to normal. Seems like if I set the “Digital Audio Out” to PCM instead of auto, the sync issue is gone, but audio is way worse. With auto it’s a lot better. Also it says DD 5.1 in the app with auto.Does anyone have experience with this or any solutions that doesn’t result in worse audio?Thanks

I have got a sonos home theater system with the playbase but I'm now thinking about replacing it with the arc.Will I be blown away by the difference or upset for spending £800???Please help  Simon. 

If you unplug one or both Sonos 5’s in a stereo pair or loose power, do you have to redo Trueplay? 

Hello guys, hello Sonos!I would like to ask you what I need to buy for my whises? I want to have 5.1.2 system (DolbyAtmos) but I will have everything connected to a smart installation (GIRA).WIHSES:I don’t want to have a rear speaker for the sofa (only in wall - see in picture - ‘’stenski zvočnik’’) I would have two speakers above the sofa (see in picture -‘’stropni zvočnik) I would also prefer to have speakers in the wall with the TV (see in picture - ‘’stenski zvočniki’’ but I do not know if it is necessary. what is the sound from the wall speakers? it is better? I want to have good position but not professional.I like to watch movies and enjoy the good effects I don't want wi-fi sound system (because you have to charge) I don't want visible cables I will buy: 2x Sonos IN-WALL (for position at TV) 1x SONOS SUB  1x SONOS ARC (Dolby Atmos) (for position under TV) 2x SONOS IN-WALL (for position behind sofa) 2x SONOS IN-CELLING (for position above sofa)What do you think guys? Please help!  My Arc is hooked up to the eARC HDMI on my Samsung TU8000, but I’m not getting Dolby Atmos.  I’m trying it on Dolby Atmos supported movies on HBO Max among other things supported.  My app says I’m getting Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0 when trying to stream Dolby Atmos shows.  My current Samsung settings are; HDMI eARC mode is on, digits output audio is on auto, Dolby Atmos compatibility is on.  Is there something I’m missing?  Support diagnostic# is 1678696515. Any help is appreciated! 

Can I connect a Sonos Amp to 1 pair of L/R and 1 single stereo ceiling speaker?

Is it possible to create 5.1 SS with Sonos Arc, 4 Polk in-ceiling speakers/sub already installed, and a Sonos Amp?

Can I play what I am listening to on the Arc and on the Roam simultaneously?

This is strange!?I have a HomeKit home and Apple Music.The symfonisk are visible in home app. If I make a shortcut to play music directly to my symfonisk speaker and run it, then Apple TV hijacks that and stream to my speakers. If I then wants to watch a show on my tv, then the music pause, and plays the sound through my speakers. I can not watch a show with audio on the tv speakers and play music on the same time on the symfonisk. They are not in the same room !???If I play directly to the speakers from Sonos app, then I can watch a show on Apple TV at the same time.  

Hej. Har et underligt problem. Jeg kan se symfonisk og Apple TV i Home app. Hvis jeg spiller musik fa Apple musik og vil se Netflix eller andet samtidig, bliver det jeg ser sat på pause og lyden kommer ud af symfonisk. Ikke så smart når højttalerne ikke er i samme rum. Så hvis jeg prøver at sende musik direkte til symfonisk fra apple musik, så overtager Apple TV pg sender musikken til højttalerne. Inde i apple musik app og jeg vælger airplay hedder det nu alrum - stue og ikke alrum. Stue er Apple TV og alrum er højttalere. Det er som om alt skal gå igennem Apple TV. Kan sagtens streame direkte til højttalerne fra sonos app.

Still having issues with my play 5 gen 1 music stops for a few seconds sometimes longer then plays again, only through Spotify though. Tried everything even had a new router still same reauthorised Spotify account from last community contact still same. Been like it ever since sonos decided to change their software and make older products discontinued. Any other advice would be brill. thanks in advance 

So over a couple years I have collected several Sonos products. My current setup is a Sonos beam (my first Sonos purchase) in front, two play 5s as rears and a gen 3 sub.  I want to upgrade my system again but I’m not sure if it would be better to replace the beam with the arc or just get 2 play 5s up in front with the beam. What do you guys think? What will sound better?

I talked him into spending almost $2000 on a Sonos system (Arc and Sub). He’s been having problems since the beginning. It works fine with his TV, but then he goes to his app to play music, and his system is not connected to the app, he has to run through the set up again, the app finds his system, and works, and then after he watches TV again, he has to do the same thing again, go through the set up to find his system to play music because once he’s watched tv his system is no longer found with the app.  he has submitted a diagnostic report and is not getting help

Hi everyone,I have one Sonos1 (Left) paired with a 1 SL (Right). Am I able to add another 1 SL to this set up as a right channel for a 3 speaker set up or does it have to be done in pairs?Thanks

Hi Guys, I am probably slow to the party here but I am having trouble connecting these two products. The TV has the eARC connection but it fails to recognise the Sonos Arc? Not to mention that when I try to setup the Arc through the App it doesn't register that it has been plugged in to the TV? Any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated. 

I have the new Sonos Arc SL with two Sonos One SLs and a sub gen 3. After playing music from my iPhone to the Sonos Arc and then I turn on the tv, the Arc does not connect to the tv. I will have to unplug the hdmi cable and plug it back before I get tv audio. This only happens when the tv has been off while I’m playing music then I turn on the tv. Is anyone experiencing this with the Arc SL? Or Arc generally. Thank you.
