We just got a Sonos Move. It supports Alexa fine. I can write a routine for it to Say something. I can write a routine that Announces something on all devices, and the Sonos Move will make the announcement.However, when I write the Announcement routine and get to select devices, the Move is not on the list. So I cannot select just a few devices to get the announcement on the Move - it has to be all devices.The other Sonoses we have (One, Beam) appear fine.Am I missing something? 

Can anyone please tell me what was changed in the S2 App update issued on March 2, 2021 and was there any problems regarding the update ( i.e. dropping speakers, glitches, etc)? Thanks in advance for any answers 

I have a long house and am trying to get great signal all the speakers. I have a WiFi router and a satellite router on each end of the house, so I thought a great solution would be to connect a Sonos device on each side of the house to ethernet. One hardwired device is a connect, the other is a bridge. From looking at the network matrix, it appears like every single speaker is now trying to connect to Bridge, even though for some of these speakers, the Connect named “Living Room” is closer and actually has a superior wired connection because its going to the main router and not the satellite. I thought that Sonos would connect to whatever is closest and strongest?  Network Matrix attached.  I believe that the two dining room speakers and the two kitchen speakers should be connecting to “Living Room” and the rest should be connecting to Bridge. Do I need to buy another Bridge to put on the other end of the house?  

Hi,I am planning to buy a turntable and connect it to the small Sonos system I have: 1 Beam connected to TV via HDMI Arc + 2 Play:1 as surround.What should I buy? It is not clear to me if Port, Amp or Five would be best in my case.Question: after connecting the turntable (using any of the product available), will the system still work as a 5.1 setup when watching the tv?Thanks.

I have an LGb9 and Sonos Arc sound bar, for about 4 months there was no issue, the b9 and Arc sound bar functioned fine connected via eArc hdmi port (2). Then suddenly audio stopped working through the sound bar, suddenly 2 days later it worked again with no explanation and unable to replicate the results.After that it was fine for about 2 months and this morning I turned on my TV and again no audio coming out of the Sonos Arc, but alexa and all other functionality is fine. I've factory reset both the TV and the Sonos Arc, re-set up and when I attempt to connect the arc to the TV via the app I get the following message(pictured below) . I've tried multiple hdmi cables to no avail. It feels like the same issue I suddenly encountered the first time, but I've no idea if it'll 'randomly start working in 2 days' again like it did before. £1100 TV and £700, feels like it's wasting my time and wallet at the moment.  Any solutions?  Sean  

My system was fine but then I got a message about updating my OSX controller app and now it can’t connect to my Sonos system. The update failed, then worked then ??? I tried a few things, including re-downloading the controller from the Sonos website. My system still works through my iPhone but the OSX app can’t connect to my system despite me trying a bunch of things.I have a suspicion that it might have to do with the fact that my Sonos system is on version 11.2.6 (based on system information in the iOS app) but you can only download 11.2.4 from the Sonos website. Can you get OSX controller version 11.2.6 from somewhere? Are Sonos just slow in updating their website? Am I barking up the wrong tree here?

I’m looking to order the Sonos Dolby Atmos set. Now, I know that’s not the name. But when I e-mailed customer service, they said it was a surround sound system. I realise that their set isn’t “true” Dolby Atmos (it offers upfiring sound, not speakers above your head) but I just want to check that it is Dolby Atmos?I realise I need an eArc to get this. 

I have an older Sonos Connect that is connected to my amp aux input via rca cables. In addition to all the streaming content and my music library available through Sonos, I want to be able to stream some content from my iphone into this system. The Sonos Connect has RCA inputs, so Im wondering whats a good airplay or bluetooth dongle that can be connected to the Connect, and I assume can be selected as "Line-In" on the Sonos Controler app. Airplay or Bluetooth better audio quality? I have an Arc and 2x one's that I have connected to a surround set-up. Working fine. What I am looking for is the option, on occasion, to place one of the One's in a separate room, and still have the same audio coming from my tv playing at the proper volume capability the One can do, instead of the 'surround' setting. Therefore, to put it basically, how can I set it so my Arc and 2x One's are playing the audio all at a normal level, and not at the 'surround' set-up (sorry if that's bloody confusing)

I have Deezer set up as my streaming service in the sonos app (S2).When searching for a podcast that I can clearly find on deezer on the S2 app, I can’t find anything….Seems like something went wrong there...

Likewise, would like to use my KEFQ150s to play music I stream via Spotify. Would it also be possible to have music play concurrently on my old speakers AND SONOS speakers at the same time?      2. Broadcast audio from my projector to SONOS speakers, and if possible, my KEFQ150s as wellQuestions: what do I need for 1.? AMP or PORT? Hi, apologies if this has already been asked and answered, I could not find it in the forums.  We have numerous Sonos products in the house and myself and my daughters have Spotify accounts.  What I would like to achieve is as follows:If I set it up so that each person in the family has a Spotify premium account, via a family account, is the the following possible:Person 1 using Spotify account A via device 1 (say laptop) is listening through Sonos app and speaker in the kitchen.Person 2 using Spotify account B via device 2 (say smartphone) is listening via Sonos app and speaker in the basement.Person 3 using Spotify account C via device 3 (say iPad) is listening via Sonos app and speaker in the bedroom.All three of these listening sessions are occurring at exactly the same time. Is that possible or is it that one sonos network can only be actively playing back 1 Spotify account at a time?

All radio program titles have stopped updating. The music currently playing updates correctly but the program doesn't. So when I start Sonos in the morning I see last night's show title but today's tune! This happens on all providers, TuneIn, Radio player etc. It started some time ago on Sonos v1. I updated to v2 but it's the same. If I re select the same station it gets the correct program but never changes.Any ideas appreciated!

All,I have a problem when watching Two and a Half Men on Amazon.  I am using 2 Sonos AMP with in-ceiling speakers set up as surround.  The show plays in Dolby 2.0 and there is an echo when people are talking. It goes away if I switch off surround. It also goes away when playing the show on Apple TV which I have set up to upscale audio to Dolby 5.1.  My tv is an LG GX.  Any ideas?

Hello,I find often that if I start a new queue say for example on my Macbook (e.g. let’s say Spotify Playlist B having previously played Spotify Playlist A, on another device, say my iPhone, it will show on now playing the correct song but when I go to the queue it will still show Spotify Playlist A as the queue even though B is playing.  If I force close app and reopen it then shows playlist B correctly. System is S2, all updated, no connectivity issues as far as I can see.

There use to be a list of recommended NAS that were (mostly) compatible with Sonos. Does that list still exist?

Not sure if this should be a question or conversation, but I have had a huge amount of trouble setting up a Sonos Port with my Pioneer surround system. I have a couple sonos speakers in the kitchen and the sounds system in the living room which I am trying to sync up (they are all part of the same overall space).Connecting the Port to the digital coax or using any mode on the receiver but pure direct results in a 10-20ms delay in the audio coming out of the receiver. I realize this is because the DSP on the receiver is doing processing such as MCACC to the sound, and this adds a delay.However, there seems to be no way to adjust this offset in the sonos app. In other systems such as chromecast audio, I am able to add a “negative” delay to the connected device, which essentially adds a small delay to all other speakers. Is there no way to do this within the Sonos ecosystem?The echo is extremely frustrating, and using pure direct on the receiver disables my subwoofers.

Hi Sonos, I have purchased a Sonos Move. I am currently based where I only have access to a captive portal network. Without sending the Move back to New Zealand is there any way I can enable the Bluetooth without registering the device?

Just added a Sonos Sub to two paired Ones and a Beam. I also successfully ran Trueplay. The sub is virtually non-audible except when set at the highest level. Even at that level, the base is unimpressive. I tried removing the sub and re-adding it to no discernible effect. Any ideas?

I have a new LG CX tv and the Sonos Arc arrived today. I have connected it with the HDMI cable to the eARC HDMI on the tv and chnaged the audio setting to eARC. However I am getting no sound from the ARC speaker. The Sonos App simply tells me that ARC Mode is not connected. What do I do next?

Hello everyone, I am setting up a home theatre and looking for advice. I have a gen 3 sub and gen 2 ones, but looking to put a playbar attached to the tv. I’d like to use the system as a home theatre but I also want to stream airplay from my phone. Will the play playbar work for this as the other components are airplay compatible? My tv isn’t a smart tv so I can’t stream to it.  I read about separating into groups, but would like it to work for both tv as well as streaming without loosing sound/speakers

Greetings Sono community.  I have had the Playbar for several months now, recently added the Move and just got my AMP last night. So I am trying to get the most out of the set up, I am seeking guidance in making that happen. I have the TV (big Samsung) hooked up to the Playbar via optical.  HDMI ARC from TV to AMP. I’ve got the Move in another room. And will be hooking up my outdoor speakers via banana plugs to the amp soon. (when I have tiiiime).  I also added the LP-120 turntable via Line In. Here is my current issue. I do not know how to use the Playbar independently via the Amp without the TV on.  Example: fire up some music and stream via Amp to PB, and Move in the other room with the TV Off.  Playbar - set up as ‘living room’AMP - set up as “Main Room”Move - set up as ‘Kitchen’Full disclosure, I have not yet connected either the PB or Amp to ethernet.  They are on my main house Wifi until I do.  Can anyone advise if what I am trying to do above outlined in bold is possible, and i

Please help us fix our system!We have 3 Play:1, 1 Play:3, and a Move. The play:3 has been having issues staying continuously connected for a couple months now. It was setup on a completely wireless system, but since then I hard wired the play:3 directly to the main network switch about a month ago. The play:3 continues to disconnect when playing and can at times be hard to bring into a group of speakers or just to get it to play at all. Today, the move also started cutting out. Nothing has changed on the network. TuneIn, Spotify, Local Music The behavior is always the same. I can recreate it by playing music - it happens at random, but reasonably frequently. Generally music stops playing for 1-3 seconds at least once each 5-10 minutes. Diagnostic number is 1649784927

Do I need any special hdmi lead to use atmos ?

have a Samsung UE65RU7025 TV.I have Movistar TV cable service in Spain.Everything worked perfectly with the Samsung One remote.A single remote control for everything.I have purchased the Sonos Arc + Subwoffer.The remote control for Movistar has stopped working.Any solution?Thanks.
