WHY IS MY SONOS BEAM MAKING A BUZZING NOISE?? 

Hi, I have a sonos connect which I’ve run without any problems for a couple of years. Over the past month or so, it has started cutting out completely and just stopping whatever it was playing. It won’t start again or remember where it was. I’ll go on the app and it says it’s unable to find the sonos on my network. For a few minutes it’ll be dead to the world, then it will come back online. I’ll start again with whatever I was listening to, only for it to just do it all over again. Sometimes I get 20 minutes of playtime, sometimes 30 seconds. I’ve tried resetting it and redoing all the connections from scratch and now I’m running an ethernet cable all the way from my Sky Q hub into the connect, all to no avail. I’m at a bit of a loss for what to do with it. Any suggestions please?

I am using Amazon Music HD with Sonos S2 and can’t for the life of me figure out how to play a “Station” by an artist. I am looking to pick a band and then have the “Station” play back that artist and a collection of music from similar artists. I have Spotify premium and there is always a choice in S2 for playing a Station when you search for the artist. Is there something I am missing?? I can play stations from artists by doing it through the Amazon Music HD app and using Airplay, but I want to do it natively in the Sonos app….

Hi, I have the sonos move and in my house I have 3 wifi. Every time i change location i have to reconnect my sonos to the wifi and writing again the password. what is the solution that sonos can change wifi by himself? thanks

Hi Sonos. I have now lost access to all BBC radio stations. This is via tune inn and Sonos radio. It’s not fixed then with the bbc?

Unable to play Music through any device.  I have tried with no luck:resetting the router resetting the every Sonos speaker (at the same time)  deleting my app and reinstalling it

so here we go … I just bought a house and since I sold mine with my equipment (Sony), I’m ready to buy brand new equipment (SONOS).  The house comes with ceiling speakers (office, laundry!, master bath, master bedroom, kitchen, living room, outdoor upstairs, outdoor downstairs).  It also comes with 7 speakers for the TV area.  so … I don’t need to buy any speakers (other than a subwoofer to achieve 7.1).  Everything arrives in a utility closet upstairs (TV is downstairs).  While I’d like to use WIFI, the house also has cat 5 (or 6, not sure yet I have not moved in just yet) throughout the house.  Here’s what I want to achieve -play music in every zone - either same or different music from same or different sources looks like I have 8 zones + the TV) setup the surround sound 7.1 I don’t need the TV to play in other rooms (just surround sound / media room is enough) TV is a smart TV Samsung From what I’ve seen there is an HDMI cable running from the TV area to the utility closet (need to

I bought a Play 5 to dedicate to use with my Peloton. Unfortunately, there is significant audio lag between the speaker and the TV output. What can I do to fix this? Thank you!!!

I bought a sonos one (the first Sonos with voice control), but is not working. Why do you use that sentence if is not available everywhere?? Are you planning to do it available in Chile any time soon? @Sonos 

I’m having trouble deciding how to add a soundbar to my living room setup. I currently have a Sonos amp driving the 4 ceiling speakers in that room and the tv sound coming through those ceiling speakers. I’m not a fan of the all tv sound coming from the ceiling and would like to add a soundbar. I’m overwhelmed by all the options and looking for anyone that has a similar situation or any advice. There are speaker cables for a left, right, and center channel behind the TV that run to the server closet, but there isn't any room for speakers other than a soundbar. So far I’ve narrowed it down to these solutions.Just get a normal soundbar and leave the Sonos system and TV sound separate. No need for a Sonos soundbar if I’m keeping them separate.  Get a Sonos Beam and connect the the 4 ceiling speakers as SR and SL speakers in the Sonos app. I didn’t think the arc would be a good match as its atmos speakers’ sound would be coming from the same area as the ceiling speakers. I have 6 Polk Audio RC80i 2-way Premium In-Ceiling 8" that I would like to run off 1 Sonos Amp.  Is that possible?  It sounds like you can using Sonos’ architectural speakers because they are all identical, but is that possible with 6 identical Polk speakers?Thanks!

Hi. I was thinking about adding a couple of rear speakers to my Beam Soundbar, would a couple of Roam speakers do the job wirelessly. The fact they are battery powered , would make them ideal for temporary placement in my TV room, when watching content that warrants good surround sound, while the rest of the time, they could live in my kitchen and conservatory.?

Hello friends,I’m trying to figure out an automation so that when I come home that I can have a Back to the Future 2 type greeting play through my living room speakers.I’ve Googled this idea but I can’t seem to find the answer to make it happen. I have only been able to get this to partially work using Yonomi. When I arrive at my house, I can get the greeting to play in the desired zone. However, I can’t seem to manage the volume and execution to time it just right. When I arrive at my geolocation, the Yonomi automation runs. The selected playlist then loops rather than just playing once. I’d also like to add a condition so that I have trigger a front door sensor in addition to my geolocation. My current home automation setup is a mix of HomeKit and Smartthings (web version). I have a Hoobs on the way for more Homekit integration of Kasa lights and my Sonos system. Things are pretty much in their beginning stages. Hi all, I am about to purchase a Sonos move , I already have 2 Sonos play 1's connected with a sonos beam grouped in one room.My question is will I be able to use my move seperately and together with my existing Room (as above) when I so wish please ? 

I can’t search for radio stations currently.The Sonos app says my Sonos Radio account needs to be reauthorized. When I click on Reauthorize it comes up with an error msg saying ‘Unable to reauthorize Sonos Radio account’.ive deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app but that hasn’t worked. Can anyone help? Very frustrating! 

I tuned in to SomaFM’s Groove Salad streaming channel this morning for the first time in a while and a lengthy ad played through my Sonos system before the music started, mid-song. It wasn’t an ad from SomaFM, they’re an ad-free listener-supported service. I donate to them periodically. Sonos apparently wants money for connecting me to freely available content I’m already paying SomaFM for (through donations), which is infuriating.I switched my connection to SomaFM to go through “Sonos Radio”, back when Sonos introduced their Radio service, because that way I at least got (a single) cover art image for the station, rather than a generic gray square. Previously, I had set up streaming to several of SomaFM’s channels through the Sonos app on my Mac (because Sonos doesn’t allow this functionality on iOS for some reason), by adding the URLs directly. Hello.I use the app S1 on one floor (mix of older and newer Sonos products working through Bridge) and the app S2 for two Sonos One (Gen 2) on the other floor.On my account on the website I can see all Sonos products.But after technicians solved a Wifi problem problem I had, I can still see and use the products through the app S1 but S2 and the associated two Sonos One cannot be found anymore.I tried rebooting. I tried connecting to Ethernet. I moved them to different rooms, near other Sonos products, near to the router… but I will not touch the router.Anybody knows what the problem might be?ThanksChristina.

I apologise if this has been asked before, but I’m new at this sort of stuff.I play my TV through an Apple TV 4th Gen - I connect them with an HDMI cable.The TV speakers are poor, so I’d like to see if I could add a Sonos 1 SL to improve the sound quality - my grandson has Sonos 1s and they are very impressive. If it works, I’d  then get a second Sonos 1 for a stereo effect.My question is - will this work? I imagine the sound would have to get from the ATV to the Soos 1 by wireless - is that possible? Can the ATV broadcast wireless signals - obviously I know it receives them, but I’m not sure if it can send them to the Sonos.Can anybody help Thanks

What is the max band width on the hdmi cable that comes with the arc. Do I need to buy say an 8k type cable?

Hi,I need some advice, the joiners have built this media wall. I am planning to buy a Arc, Sub Gen 3, 2x Sonos ONE speakers.My question is can the ARC sit above the TV? Does the sub need to be hardwired to the Arc?  

Hi. I just purchased a Pro-Ject T1 turntable for my family for Christmas. It will be in the living room with two Play 5s. How will I connect it so the pair runs in stereo? Do I plug the turntable into one and it will recognize the pair or do I need separate cables for left and right? Just want to make sure I get any necessary cable in had in advance.Thanks!

Hi All,I have a Sonos Connect:Amp (Gen1) and an Alexa. I can use the Sonos app to play Amazon music through the app, but I don't know how to hook the Alexa up with the Sonos so that when I give the Alexa verbal commands for it to play through the Amp.Can anyone give me any pointers? The Amp comes up in the Alexa app, and I've authorised Sonos in the app, but still :S
