I have just bought my Sonos Arc and paid the Virgin 360 remote so I can change the volume. This function worked for about 1 week, then all of a sudden, I was not able to change the volume of my sonos arc using the Virgin 360 remote. I tried to re-pair the Sonos Arc and Virgin 360 remote, replaced the batteries in the remote and reboot the virgin box. None of this works, when it worked for about 1 week.  Please can someone advise on this issue?  

I have two sets of wired speakers with my current stereo system, but I would like to move to the Sonos system so that I can control music remotely and in different rooms.  I have looked at the Sonos Amp, however most of the time I will not want to have music playing on both sets of wired speakers I have at the same time.  It looks like the Amp does not give me the option of playing music through only one set of the speakers at a time.  What are my options?  Speaker switch?Also, if I did go with the Amp, could I install a pair of Sonos wireless speakers and have it playing the same music that is playing through my wired speakers?Thank you in advance for any heip you can give.

Sonos is so unrealiable. I am just fed up. Many times I hear music and suddenly it stops. I have 5 sonos loudspeakers at home (sonos one) . The wifi network is excellent. Sonos is just lousy. 

New Arc with Sub and two One SL speakers unboxed today tried to set them setup and got nothing but irritation. The Arc connects through the app on android and I get sound from the TV through the Arc. I can connect the sub and speaker with the android app but when I try to add them to the Arc they simply will not connect. Everything is connected to the same subnet the android devices and all the speakers.  I have tried on two android devices, uninstalled the app and re-installed the app on both devices, restarting both android devices multiple time including between the uninstall, lost count of the number of times I have reset all of the Sonos components by powering them off and holding the connect button on power on. I moved the access point right next to the speakers, tried an ethernet connection directly to the speakers and restarted the access point several times nothing seems to work to get the sub and surround connected to the Arc. Hi, when I try and listen to an audiobook using audible, I got a ‘… song not encoded correctly’ error. This was working until quite recently. any idea on how to resolve?

I’m interested in the Surround Set, which has 4 products within it (Arc, Sub, 2x One SL). I also have a bunch of 30% upgrade discounts available, and plan to use them.If I buy the Surround Set, does it use up one of my upgrade discounts, or 4 of them? 

I received a Sonos Arc Shadow soundbar for Christmas and added some Sono One SL speakers.  How can I control the soundbar and speakers at the same time with my remote? I have a Samsung Smart TV. When I want to mute the speakers, it only mutes the soundbar.  Once TV turned off and turned back it only turns on the sound for the sound bar.  Can they all be sync to work the same?

I recently purchased a Sonos Five. I first had it hardwired with an Ethernet Cable to my router and I was able to use Tidal Connect like Spotify connect. I recently moved the speaker and it is now connected to 5GHZ wifi instead of being hardwired and now the Sonos speaker will not show up as an option on Tidal Connect. Spotify connect still works though. Any help?

Hi Team,      I have 4k projector which supports only ARC. I am looking for Sonos eARC , I know the current version doen’t support this compatibility to enjoy the Atmos. I ordered a Beam and 2 Ones for a home theater setup mainly for music streaming, along with watching some movies in surround.  The Beam got lost in the mail so I received the 2 One’s first.  Easy to setup.  I set them up as stereo speakers and they sounded great.  Finally, a few days later, my Beam arrived.  I found to add the speaker, I had to break the stereo setup (in Sonos app) and then I could add them to the Beam as surround speakers.Here’s the issue.  I don’t think it sounds as good.  With just the two One’s the sound seemed to be coming from everywhere and was crystal clear.  Now they are configured as rears, seems that most of the sound comes from the Beam and the One’s are really low.  The sound seems to mainly be coming from the Beam and not traveling the room anymore.  Am I doing something wrong?  Do the One’s just have better fidelity?  Thanks for your help.

Every now and again the sound cuts out on my living room setup. It’s the Playbar that’s cutting out. Its only for a second but it’s happening every 30/40 seconds which is getting annoying! Any help? 

In my account I have mistakenly clicked on my Connect Gen 2 Amp for upgrade which I clearly do not want to do! How do I cancel the upgrade before i lose my amp clicked about 4 days ago regards Russ

I’ve been trying to fix this issue myself after searching here and other sites, to no avail.  I was watching WW84 on the Samsung TV HBO Max app. It shows Atmos support but I can’t get the DD+ Option to become available.  TV: Samsung QN82Q7DRAFXZASonos ARC connect to TV via HDMI ARC port Anynet + is active Input Signal plus is active  Is there something I am missing here? One thing I did notice is I can’t choose the audio input type when I am in the expert audio settings.  Do I need a 2.1 HDMI?  thanks for the help! 

My Sky Q touch and normal remote have stopped working with my Sonos Beam. They were working ok up until last week. Both Sky remote controls not working but Samsung TV remote control works ok. I have tried switching TV and Sonos systems on and off several times as well as trying to reconnect using Sonos app with no success 

Hi,I just bought a Beam and connected it to a Sony Bravia TV using the optical adapter. I also have a 4th Gen Apple TV connected.Since connecting the Beam I’m having two problems:I’m unable to airplay video from iOS devices onto the TV. I just get an error message whenever I try. (Less critical, but still annoying) The pause/play button is on the Apple TV remote does not work when watching video (from the Apple TV).Any thoughts on what may be causing this problem and how to fix it?Thanks!

Just bought Sony Bravia XBR77A9G, with Sonos Arc, Sub, and S2's.  The installer said he wanted to use Optical audio, not ARC, as he had done other installations using ARC with this system, and the customer had issues with signals, audio or video.  Online seems to have a fair amount owners confirming this.  My issue is that I am missing out on some higher-level audio processing using optical.  Anyone had this issue, and if so, solutions?  Thanks! Moderator edit: Changed Beam to Arc for clarity

Hi, could I connect my TV via HDMI Arc for movies & a microphone mixer for karaoke via optical port to Sonos Arc? Then select the audio output from my TV whenever I want do either activity. 

Greetings,I’m not having any luck getting my iTunes playlists to show up under Imported Playlists in the “Music Library” source. Here are my specs:Computer is running Windows 10 iTunes v12.11.0.26 Using the Sonos 2 app (had the same results on the Sonos 1 app, then tried updating to Sonos 2 to see if that would make any difference) Sonos system is freshly updated as well v12.2.2, build 61183220 What I’ve done so far:I don’t have my music in the “My Music” folder, but I have successfully pointed Sonos at the parent folder with that does have the albums and such in it, and can play those no problem I tried exporting a few playlists as XML into the parent folder that has the artists / albums as subfolders also created a “playlists” folder inside the parent folder and copied the same XML files into there I also tried exporting the entire iTunes library as an XML file into the parent folderAfter each export of XMLs I’ve updated / re-indexed the music library, and I can still play the musi

I think I have a pretty unique issue.  I am getting the error "Unable to browse music" when trying to play a playlist I created with mostly music I own in Amazon Music.  What's even stranger is the playlist plays fine directly from the  Amazon Music app.  I only have the issue when I try to play it via Sonos. I signed out of Amazon.  I refreshed my library.  I removed Amazon and readers the service and nothing works.  I really hate to rebuild this playlist.  All my other playlists work fine.  I submitted diagnostics  too, # 690578130 Appreciate any insight and help.  Thanks!

Bought a Sonos Move. Opened and installed and everything worked correctly at parent's house using either Alexa or Google with Spotify. Couple days later brought it home, installed and voice commands are not returning a result except maybe local ones like "what time is it?" If I say "Alexa / Ok Google Play Justin Bieber" it replies "Ok playing Justin Bieber on Spotify" and nothing happens. I switched default player to Amazon Music and I still get the same result. I have reset the Sonos app, factory rebooted and reinstalled the speaker. Removed the device from both GH and Alexa. And nothing. I feel like setting it up previously somewhere else may have caused some conflict but can't be sure especially since I reset and reboot. Please help! 

Hi,Is there a solution to have Google Assistant stop announcing which playlist or song is going to be played via Spotify using my Sonos speakers? I like to have the music start without Google Assistance actually announcing it first. Thanks for your input.

My PS5 is connected via HDMI to my Panasonic HX800 TV which is then connected to the Beam via ARC. Have set both the PS5 and the TV to PCM but I am still getting noticeable Audio delay when gaming / watching movies via the PS5. I feel like I have tried everything (removed all TV processing, running in Game Mode) but I can’t fix it. Can anyone help?

I’m sorry guys I’m new to Sonos and I have no networking experience.  I have a Google Wifi mesh network. but since it automatically assigns 2.4 or 5 GHz (i.e you can’t force the sonos devices to choose one or theother) I find that certain components either don’t connect at all or have a long delay before working.  For example, if I play music through “everywhere”, one of my SLs or my sub for example won’t play the music either at all or takes several minutes to get going.  I don’t know how to remedy this problem - I called support and they told me that I had to keep all Sonos devices on either 2.4 or 5, but as I’ve been told by Google their Wifi doesn’t allow being forced to one frequency over another.  I have 3 Ones, 1 Sub, and 1 Five.  The sub is connected to 1 of the Ones.   Please advise - any advice would be much appreciated!
