I’ve had my Sonos system for about eight months and almost exclusively use Alexa and Apple Music (which is my default Alexa music service). It was rock-solid up until the last couple weeks.It used to be that I’d initiate the music via Alexa and the music would start about a microsecond after Alexa read back my specified playlist, album, or song. Now it takes more like 5–10 seconds for the music to start, though sometimes it doesn’t. When it does start, I get drop-outs on some speakers, and sometimes the music just stops. This morning it gets a couple tracks into one of Apple Music’s “Essentials” playlists and then just stops. I have the 5.1 system with the play bar. Something happened a few weeks ago where all 4 speakers got removed from the stream app. They were there before. I've controlled them multiple times. Or at least I remember doing it.Im trying to add them back in. I reset one of them. That seems to get it back in the app, but it couldn't be linked. Sonos can't seem to find any of those speakers unless I reset them.I think the problem might be that its trying to re-register the product, but its already registered. I have the same account. Same wifi. Everything is the same. The speakers just disconnected for some reason. Is there something I can do to unregister or import these speakers? Before you ask. I've rebooted everything multiple times. Sonos app is ignoring those speakers I haven't attempted to reset.

Sonos being an Amazing Company with Fantastic Speakers. I have Play Bar, Play 5, Play 3, Play 1 x3 and Connect. Whenever I have a Party or Gathering  with friends. Everyone always says to me ... can you play this Song or Mix on YouTube through my Sonos Speakers and I have to say NO unless I download and convert it and then move it to my Tablet so that I can go to Play What's On This Device. By far the biggest downfall...

I have an LG tv with an HDMI arc. This tv sits in the kitchen. The Sonos Amp and cable box sit in a cabinet in the next room. I have access to the tv's hdmi cable that is plugged into the TV's hdmi arc port. The Sonos Amp is connected to two ceiling speakers in the kitchen. I want to be able to connect my cable box to the TV in the kitchen and have sound come through the two ceiling speakers. I purchased a 3 x1 HDMI switch. I hooked the tv hdmi cable that is connected to the HDMI arc port on the tv to the HDMI output on the switch. I have the cable box connected to an HDMI input channel. I have the Sonos amp connected to a different HDMI channel. Obviously this set up isn't correct, as the cable tv sound is not coming thru the ceiling speakers. What do I need to do to get my cable tv sound to play through the ceiling speakers? Do I need an HDMI switch with arc? I don't have any Sonos soundbar connected to the TV.

Ever since my app updated, my Connect has very low volume. Connect→ Amp→ Speakers. Amp turned to 100%. Worked fine prior to update. Diagnostic: 502130599.

When playing songs from both Tidal and Spotify I get the error message “Can’t play XXX the track isn’t encrypted correctly” and skips to next track of the album and so it goes on.This is very annoying, please help. 

My Playbar suddenly stopped working with TV audio this week.  I have an LG UK6570AUA using optical out.  This has worked without issue for 2 years.  If I go into the app I can play music.  It will not recognize the TV input.  I have this Playbar set up along with a sub and two surround speakers.   Strangely when I try to use the volume up on the remote, the LED on the Playbar does not show anything.  But when I press volume down, the LED blinks.   Regardless if I go into the app it does not see that there is a TV source and raising the volume does nothing.   So this happened for the first time last Thursday.  I reset all connections, power cycled a few times, and eventually the playbar came back.  Today (Saturday) same problem.  I cannot do the same kabuki dance with all the wiring again.  My wife is pissed.  I had to go back to the TV speaker. I have seen other posts about this problem.  Seems like a silly issue to have.     Please help ASAP.  

I can't get two Play 1' to pair as a stereo pair. Both are in the same room as the router as we live in a small flat. What can I do? 

Recently, when I look at what sound is output on the SONOS App I always see “TV” even if there is a DD source.  I checked the TV setup and it is still on HDMI Arc/external sound.   Am I remembering wrong….did it always just say TV?How can I tell if the Sonos is getting a surround signal? I have Sonos ARC with sub + ones for surround and a LG OLED 2017 TV

My Denon 4400h has a HDMI output to feed Zone2 with both audio and video. Can I use that connection to feed the Sonos Amp using the HDMI input even though the output is audio and video and not specifically ARC.

I have a number of Sonos products connected on a strong WiFi network around my house. One of my Sonos Ones recently started to suffer from a very loud crackling/static noise during music playback. It happens more on moderately bass heavy tracks but is irritatingly intermittent. I have tried moving the unit between rooms but it presents the same wherever it is located.  I have seen a few threads where others experience similar faults but they mostly seem to have some sort of connection with a Playbar - mine does not - it is effectively a standalone speaker.Can someone please help? Can you play music through playbar while listening to tv through SL1 in another room. When I have tv on both and try to swap to music on playbar they both stop.

The stereo pair I have created (Play 3 speakers with Sub) has been fine most of the time but would occasionally would go out of synchronisation; resetting the pair would rectify the problem.  Now, however, this problem happens all the time and after only a few minutes so I have to reset every 10 to 15 minutes or revert to mono!  I have not been able to make any contact with sonos so wondered if anyone in the Community had experienced similar problems and if so could offer any advice please?  Thank you.

Hi,we got 6 speakers:1 x beam3 x ikea symfonisk1 x Sonos One1 x Sonos Play 1 One of the speakers are attached to the router via Ethernet.all is updated and we use the new Sonos app on 4 different iOS units.Every time we open the app, not all speakers shows. The speakers that show is different from time to time.I can start and stop music on all speakers directly, so they are on WiFi.All speakers have a static IP address   

half of my sonos products have switched by themselveds to another wifi netwrok in my housr. how do i get everything back under the network that i want? i have sonos boost connected to router but half of my products arent even recoginiing it.

But when i turn on the headphone the 5.1 Sonos setup is not (fully) muted. I keep hearing the sound but its cutting in and out every second or so. Sound on the headphones is fine. I changed some settings on xbox and OLED but i cant get it to stop unless i lower the volume on Sonos to zero ( green led ).At 1st i thought it was a problem with the headphones. I was using a Corsair HS75 XB headset which uses the xbox protocol for wireless connection. I changed to the Arctis ones which uses its own usb dongle but this didnt resolve the issue.

Hi. I am having trouble getting S2 windows app to work. When I select the installed app icon a orange Sonos logo appears in the middle of the screen ± 500x500 pixels. Then disappears without the controller loading.  I have tried: Uninstalling, removing from recycle bin, deleting the downloaded file. Re-downloaded and installed, with restarting the PC inbetween. Made sure the windows firewall allowed all the Sonos apps and options (private and public) Switched off my anti virus totally. Uninstalled and reinstalled while off.   None of the above seemed to work.   Please help guys, this is really frustrating. Am also struggling with support as I am from South Africa and we don't have any proprietary support here. The time difference makes it difficult to contact the US support team.

We play music and kids’ stories served from a windows server. This worked fine for years. After disabling SMB1 because it was 2020 and failing to get the http service to work (with or without firewall) I set up windows media streaming over what looks like RTSP.We use the Sonos Android app (12.2.2), and also the Windows one, less often. Navigating the metadata works as expected, but this is not generally how we use the app. It isn’t really feasible to browse, or even search, tens of thousands of objects, made up of four or five distinct collections, as a flat list. The way to do that is to use folders. But navigating by folder does not work as expected: the app browses and finds the content, but it does not treat the folder as a potential playlist. In contrast with other sources (I’m thinking SMB folders, Spotify, Amazon) it does not associate play/add functionality with the list it has found. There aren’t any buttons. Click on a track and it dutifully plays that track and then stops. I

We recently changed our wifi password and I downloaded the new Sonos app. I‘ve been having trouble with the connection before, but now my Sonos won’t connect at all. I moved it to my room, which is closer to the decoder, and been trying to connect to WiFi both wireless and with ethernel. But it still can’t find my device. When trying to connect to WiFi the Sonos app says it’s the wrong password, but I’ve checked and it is the correct one.. 

Hello,As the title states, I am having issues with the following configuration:LG OLED B6Sonos Arc plugged into HDMI ARC with sub and surroundsXbox one x plugged into HMDI 1Firestick 4k plugged into HDMI 3|4Harmony hub and remote for controlI have no issues getting sound to output when I use my set activities on harmony for Xbox or any internal apps through the tv. Scenarios: Activity to play xbox.  Tv turns on and input is set to HDMI 1 and Xbox turns on.  Sound output works on Sonos Arc. Activity to watch Tv.  Tv turns on and input is set to live tv.  I can use any of the internal tv apps and sound output works on Sonos Arc. Activity to watch Firestick. Tv turns on and input is set to HDMI 4.  No Sound comes out from Sonos Arc.  Even if I switch to other inputs/activities the issue persists. To resolve this I have to switch to either LG tv input or Xbox input and try to stream something.  Turn tv off and launch either scenario 1 or 2 and Sonos works again.  I can then switch to Fires
