Portable speakers

I have two Move 2 speakers and the sound connection has been an issue from day one.When playing music from my phone via Bluetooth, the sound randomly cuts in and out for either or both speakers, sometimes there's no sound at all.For my projector, it got so bad with the sound not working at all most of the time, that I got a cable to connect to one of the speakers. This worked the first time, now not anymore.I have tried unpairing and re-pairing, made sure they are connected via 5Ghz WiFi, even reset the speakers multiple times.This is extremely frustrating, especially given the price of these speakers.

My Sonos Move One doesn’t want to charge anymore. I called the assistant centre, they will change the charge base. But today the sonos move tower shown only the micro white light. When I press the On button nothing happens. I don’t know what to do . Is someone had this kind of problem ? What can I do to make my Sonos work ? Thanks very much for your help.

It has taken a while for me to start using my Move 2.First it would not update (before first use). It kept saying there was a problem connecting to my Wifi. Even though the other 50 products in the house work properly. I had to go to someone else his house to use their Wifi which worked immediately.  When I got back home the Move 2 needed to be added to my account. Which then also failed at my home. After creating a new account (and multiple tries) it finally added the Move 2 to my second account.  Now the Move 2 is visible in the app and can be used, BUT it keeps saying “Not registered”. This way I can’t see the battery level or access the settings.  It did work for a brief moment (after using a method from another user = logging out in the app, resetting the app and logging in again). But after a few minutes it said “Not registered” again and the previous method does not help anymore.  I’m out of ideas because I have tried literally everything (reboots, resets, factory resets, app re

Roam needs wifi connection before switching to bluetooth ? Why does it not connect by using mobile internet. Confused. I want to use in caravan but wifi not always available. Any assistance woll be appreciated. Thanks .

Howdy,I’m streaming audio from my iMac and Tidal to Move. Each time I pause the audio then click play, there’s no audio. If I wait for a few minutes sometimes the audio is reconnected.The only fix is to power off/on Move (the button on the back of the speaker) then the audio reconnects. I just checked, I have the Move has the latest updates.Is there a fix for this?Thanks,

Has anyone figured out a way to get these things working or am I just screwed for being a loyal customer and early adopter with a first gen roam thats out of warranty?

Hi. Just set up two brand new Move 2s. Both work fine on their own and as a group. But when I try to pair them in Stereo mode, only the primary one plays music. This happens no matter which one I start with.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. ThanksG

I've a Sonos Move and from yesterday evening the MIC light it's turned on and I cannot do anything. I try to reset but nothing is working. Any solutions?

How is it 2025 and the Sonos Roam doesn’t have the ability to ROAM between multiple WiFi networks? I like to take my Roam between my house and my partners house without the need to manually reset/change the wireless connection. Surely this should’ve been implemented by now, judging by feature request threads from 2023 :( 

My Sonos move has become disconnected from my Wi-Fi. As a result, it’s no longer showing in the App either . I’m having issues getting it reconnected. Please does anyone have any ideas ? I’ve not been able to perform a factory reset. As yet I’m at a loss and beginning to wonder if it will ever work again 😭

Le son sur le Sonos démarre parfois plusieurs secondes après avoir lancé une piste musicale, c’est vraiment pénible.Et ce problème ne concerne que mon Sonos Move 1 car j'ai essayé le streaming bluetooth depuis mon PC avec d'autres enceintes (Philips BT-100 ou JBL Boombox) et il n'y a absolument aucun problème.Donc, ce n'est pas un problème avec le bluetooth de mon ordinateur.Pourriez-vous m'apporter une solution? I have bought a faulty sonos roam in the hope of fixing it.It seems the nand chip has got a small burn mark on it.Not sure it could be replaced as I'm sure it would need to be programmed. What are the hope of me getting a replacement main board from anyone. TIAPaul

Hi,I am trying to use my roam 2 Sonos as external speaker to my Windows PC, however, I cannot connect to my sonos device as it is not showing up on my bluetooth. I am able to connect my roam 2 to my Macbook AIR and use it as external speaker and it works to my Iphone as well. How can I fix this issue to my Windows PC?

Hi,I bought two move 2s with the idea to have them as a stereo pair when watching movies, and two individual speakers that can be moved around the house when listening to music. Never having owned Sonos speakers before, I had read about the groups in the app and assumed that I could just assign them to two different groups, one as stereo pair and one as individual speakers (e.g. room 1: “stereo”, room 2: “mobile”).But now that they're stereo paired, I can't see them individually anymore in the groups section.Is this type of use not possible, or am I missing a step?And if it's not possible yet, can we please make it so? I think it would be a very useful feature.Thanks in advance for helping :)

Back again with yet another Sonos issue that frankly shouldn’t be an issue I have three Sonos products: Era 100, Beam and recently, (which frankly was a mistake investing more money in this product), Roam 2. Someone please enlighten me why I’m able to use voice command on any speaker to set the volume of individual speakers but I cannot set my volume for my Roam 2 with voice command whatsoever. For example, I can tell my Era 100 to set the Beam volume to 5, I can tell my Beam to set the volume to 10, but I cannot tell my Roam 2 to change the volume of my Beam OR Era 100 OR even Roam 2, nor can I tell my Beam OR Era 100 to set the volume of my Roam 2. Any time I try to change the volume of my Roam 2, it changes the volume in ALL my speakers. Like this is honestly ridiculous. It’s the same software. How hard can it truly be to have it consistent across all the speakers? Sonos’ whole shtick is “grouping speakers” but they literally took this to a fault. I should be able to control individ

I've read plenty of posts experiencing the same as me. Dropouts for a split second streaming music to Move 2. The solution for me on Samsung Android is to go into developer settings and change to SBC from AAC. I usually get at least one dropout every 5 mins. Now I've not had any in 20 hours. I was on the brink of returning the unit but now I'll keep it. Hopefully this will help some in the community

Hi Sonos Community,I currently have a TV setup in my living room consisting of a Beam Gen 2, a One Gen 2, and a Sub Mini.I'm considering adding another speaker to enhance the room’s sound while also having the flexibility to take it outside into the garden or another area beyond my living room. That’s why I’m looking at the Move 2, as it offers Bluetooth connectivity and portability.However, I’ve come across some posts suggesting that the Move 2 might not pair with a Sub Mini. I’d love to know if this setup will work seamlessly when watching TV or listening to music, or if I might run into compatibility issues when integrating the Move 2 to my setup.Any insights would be greatly appreciated. System consists of 5 x Play 1 speakers all updated . Works fine , purchased 2 x Roam speakers, system sees them but will not update. Tried all solutions recommended. Purchased Era100 speaker and likewise system sees speaker but will not update. I am thinking of closing down all speakers and changing the speaker plugged into router from a Play 1 to the new Era 100 to see if it is a compatibility issue anyone had experience if this please?

Connecting is a damn nuisance. Often turn the speaker on and struggle to get a connection. No other Bluetooth product has ever given me a problem, but Sonos does.

Hi the wifi and true play won't connect on the sonos app anymore so can't listen to spotify...

I have a Mac Mini with two Moves in stereo. Took me forever to get them setup with multiple support calls. However, they still disconnect or have a massive delay before they ‘refresh’ themselves. Now I’ve moved and have a new WiFi setup. I’m practically about to commit suicide trying to get them to work again. Super annoying and not a product worth the money they cost me. I wish I could return them, because I’m really close to throwing them in the trash. One of the worst products I have ever purchased.

Hi, I’m writing to you from Poland. I have a problem with my Sonos Move 1 speaker. I’ve recently changed home router for a new one and now I cannot connect the speaker. I’ve tried many different things, suggested on sonos website. I even contacted the customer service and chatted with one guy, but he was unable to help me, suggesting that these thing needs further investigation and I should call their help line. Before I do, which is pricy, I want to ask you for help.  While trying to connect the speaker I’ve restarted the app, the speaker itself and it still doesn’t work.I’m sending you a screen recording of me, trying to somehow reconnect Sonos, helplessly failing to do so.
