TV setup Era 100 with Roam 2

Hi,

I want a speaker setup for my smaller living room, where i want to have an Era 100 or the Beam/ray and connect a roam 2 with it. Most of the time they would be playing music side-by-side but i’d like to pick up the roam and take it with me to the bathroom or balcony or wherever.

I hear online that there would be a delay when both playing. Would this be the case or are they perfectly compatible? It’s not the newest TV but also not old. It has smart play, but i mostly use it with my apple TV. I usually play songs on youtube or watch netflix. If i connect everything to my apple TV and use it through WIFI is the delay going to be noticable?

Also, perhaps the solution would be that normally only the Era is running and only when i want to move i turn the Roam 2 on and take it with me?

I would really appreciate some assistance.

If you want to listen a TV show in another room, don’t worry about the delay, because you’re not going to notice it as you’re not watching or close to the main speaker. I do that with news while I’m in other room, but sometimes you can suffer small dropouts.

But, as @Stanley_4 says, the only devices able to play TV sounds correctly are the sound bars. You can add then surrounds but they cannot work by themselves.

And, talking about music, you can play all devices in the same room with the Sonos app or AirPlay2.

The delay in sound from the Beam to the Roam would only be for TV sound streaming music would be in perfect sync.

There is no way to connect 100s directly to the TV without the delay, as surrounds for a Sonos soundbar there would be no delay.
