SmartThings Integration Broken on Roam Gen 1 After Recent Update

I'm experiencing a critical issue with the SmartThings integration on my Sonos Roam Gen 1 that appears to have been caused by a recent Sonos update.

Issue Description:
For months, I've been using a SmartThings automation to play white noise on my Roam Gen 1 using the 'play favorite item' action (typing the exact Sonos Playlist). This worked flawlessly until a recent Sonos update. Now, when the SmartThings automation triggers, no audio plays on the Roam. The integration appears to be completely broken.

Troubleshooting Done:
- Contacted Samsung SmartThings support
- Samsung confirmed no changes were made on their end
- Samsung advised me to reach out to Sonos as the issue appears to be on the Sonos side
- The problem started immediately after a recent Sonos software update

Device Information:
- Device: Sonos Roam Gen 1
- Integration: Samsung SmartThings
- Use Case: Automated white noise playback triggered by SmartThings automation
- Issue: 'Play specific item' action no longer functions after recent Sonos update

This is a regression that has broken functionality that was working perfectly. I need this escalated to Sonos technical team for investigation and resolution.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with SmartThings integration after recent updates?

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble using your Sonos Roam with SmartThings.

While we can forward threads to the team as feedback and as a resource for them to investigate, it won't be escalated for a team member to pick up and resolve, but instead as a way for the team to see how many users are being affected by the issue.

Instead, I would suggest you reach out directly to the support team for assistance. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system to see why the integration between your Roam and SmartThings has stopped and can provide steps to help resolve this issue.
