I am having trouble playing music on my new Move 2 via the Sonos app. I have 2x Era 300, a Roam, and a Move 2 all connected to the same Wi-Fi network. When I attempt to play music through the Sonos app, the sound only comes from the Era 300 and the Roam, but not the Move 2. The Move 2's status on the app shows as connected. However, when I switch to Apple AirPlay, it works.Note: I added Move 2 to the system last night, and it worked with the app just fine. The dropout issue occurred this morning.
2 Just spent many hundreds of dollars on a wonderful – sounding pair of move 2 speakers. It appears that sleep mode does not always remain engaged, but I am certain of this: one of the new move 2 speakers was definitely indicating it had been and was in sleep mode (I checked it after not doing anything overnight, and it was sitting there supposedly in sleep mode, that’s what it said), but the battery had drained down to 2%, and it was fully charged the day before.it is of course frustrating to have drained a new battery nearly down to zero, when the advanced-technology Move 2 was in sleep mode.It would be great if sleep mode didn’t drain the battery.Thank you.
Pressing the Power/Bluetooth button on the rear of my woke Sonos Roam will put the unit to sleep and play a quick tone.Pressing the same button when the unit is sleeping will cause it to wake and activate the status light. However, i do not hear a tone or other sound when the unit wakes. Can such a sound be enabled?(The lit status light is insufficient since my Sonos is protected by a rubber armour sleeve which obscures the status light.)TIA!
I have a new sonos roam. It will set up but won't show up on my system. It is a new system with nothing on it. I am using the Sonos app. Both the speaker and my phone are on my 2.4G network. I have tried factory resetting the speaker several times. I'm super bummed since it's brand new. Any advice?
I am able to pair my Sonos Move 2 with the television (tv about 4 years old) but no sound comes from the Sonos.is it possible to play the sound from the tv through the speaker and if so, any suggestions to fix would be gratefully received?
Has anyone found a bluetooth adapter that will connect a non-bluetooth audio line output with a Sonos ROAM? I have no wifi available (caravan use) and want to connect an old TV line output or an old audio CD player via a bluetooth interface that is compatible with Sonon ROAM.
I’m on vacation and can’t put my roam into Bluetooth mode. It won’t connect to the hotels WiFi. It’s driving me nuts!
What’s the warranty on the move 2?
My Sonos move is visible on my app as Bluetooth but when I press the wifi button it no longer appears. Why?
Hi all I have bought a Samsung freestyle to replace my TV and at this moment I still can not use it with my sons system. Here is what I have: 2 one sl, move, roar and beam. As previously in another conversation I have linked the Samsung with the roar by Bluetooth but it works 1 time every 10. And each time I have to pair again, switch off 10 times and sometimes I give up because it does not work.So the Samsung is connected to the roar but there is no sound but in the app I can pause the video (it makes no sense to me) . For the moment I can not use anymore my sonos system when I am watching Netflix or Prime. It is a pity for a system that cost me more than 1000€.Any suggestions?ThanksAndreea

My roam is draining the batterie in 5-10 min, no matter for how long time I charge it or what charger.2 years old it started to behave like this the other day.
Roam will not reconnect to Sonos app or to Bluetooth after being shut down for travel. After being plugged in overnight, only the orange light comes on - some times it blinks and sometimes it is solid. I tried the reboot procedure but nothing happened. Is it dead or can I try something else?
unable to pair Roam to Google android phone. Icon for Roam does not appear as an option under “saved devices” and is not found when searching “pair new device”. WiFi on phone is on. In the Sonos app it says it’s paired with the wifi in my building but not the phone. A was working fine yesterday but not today!
Does anyone know what the maximum length usb-c charging cable the Roam will handle for charging? I have tried a 26 ft cable and the App/Roam returns an insufficient power charging error. I have not yet tried anything shorter to figure out where the max lies but looking for intel if anyone knows. And, if anyone has an idea how to get more than 26 ft, would love to hear. (I’m mounting these outside permanently under an eave for patio audio)
My Android phone (Galaxy S20) will connect for media on Bluetooth but not for phone calls. There are options to set up the for media audio but I can’t see how to set up for calls. Anyone got any ideas please?
I did charge it with the wireless charger (overnight) the orange light shows that it does charge but still won’t turn on. So, I charged it with a wire on a USB-C plug (overnight) and try to turn it on without success again. This speaker has had this turn on problem for a couple of months but until now, I’ve alwalys been to finally get it on.
I have several Sonos speakers around my home and have added a Sonos Roam. It makes playing audio from podcasts and streaming on my phone through my home system seamless. I leave the Roam home in its usual place connected to the other devices here and go out with my phone. The car picks up the bluetooth and plays without even asking. Smooth. The problem is when I come home. I go to the android bluetooth app and on request it connects to the Roam. Then I go to the Sonos app and try to get it to resume playing that stream. When I click on the Room Selector button, it shows a list of my sonos devices with my Roam unticked. So I tick it and mark it done. But that doesn’t stick. What seems to work is to untick every device except the Roam then bring the others back on.I must have something set up wrong or be doing it wrong but it sure seems complicated.
I want to be able to keep Sono's roam powered on all the time while it's connected to a charger and while not connected via Bluetooth to any device because I am using this speaker as the main speaker for my MacBook laptop. When my laptop is connected via Bluetooth, it doesn’t get turned off automatically which is good.Whenever I had to go outside and come back Sonos automatically got powered off and I had to manually press the button to Powered on which is a bit annoying. I have already tried by disabling battery saving mode as well. Didn’t work.Additional Request: Can we have a way to powered the speaker from a cable rather than a battery while connected to a charger?
my Sonos move is fading in and out. The light on top flashes between White, meaning it’s on Wi-Fi, and orange. I can’t find anything in the troubleshooting guide that tells me what this is about or how to correct it. At this point it is effectively unusable. If anyone has any insights how I could fix this, I would appreciate it. I do have a video of it happening if anyone needs to see it
So I've wired in one of my Symfonisk speakers and this seems to have solved the issue of the speakers dropping out of the system (and disappearing on the Sonos App - but not the Spotify App??)However my Sonos Roam, on a fixed IP keeps dropping in and out, and doesn't always appear on the Sonos App. However it DOES respond to Alexa voice commands...
How do I pair a move speaker into stereo while in Bluetooth
I have a Beam + Roam and have had the same for over 1 year all OK untill recently the Roam sound fluctuates (comes & Goes) doesnt seem to matter where the Roam is (Beam in living room,Roam in Kitchen)T/Y
Look how many people have the same problems with this product. I have spent hours on hold, back at the retailer, talking to support, reading countless articles, uninstalling reinstalling, rebooting and trying every method known to man and still Google Assistant refuses to add to Roam. I fed up of the poor service and Sonos as a product.
I have had 2 Play 5s (1st Gen) and a Play One. LOVE my system. Just moved to new apt and I had my One in the bathroom but my new bathroom doesn’t have a good place to plug it in and also place it somewhere. I thought “OK I’ll get a new water resistant one like Roam or Move.” I bought a Roam, and after playing around with it and spending a long time iwth an AMAZING Sonos rep on the phone, he says Roam can only work on S2 and Play 5 (1st gen) can only work on S1. I can’t use Roam and my old speakers! Ughh! During setup it seemed like S2 (which I downloaded) was going to let me set up the Roam on S2 but then PLAY it via S1. Am I just out of luck? If I want any new speakers I have to upgrade my old ones??? THis is turning a $200 purchase into a $1200 one!
