We have a samsung the frame TV in the kitchen and the speakers are really poor for the size of the room, we currently have a one under the TV we use for radio ETC. I sometimes use a Bluetooth speaker connected to the TV to get a better sound, and this got me thinking about a move. Does anyone know if you can connect a sub/other speakers to the move, when it is being used as the primary source of audio ie when being used as a bluetooth speaker ?
Unpacked new Roam today, Microphone and Mic Light not working.Saw that someone had reported the problem previously. Pressed power button for more than 12 secs and then waited more than 30 secs before powering back up.Microohone and light still not working.
Just received a brand new pair of roam speakers. Roam, SLs. As expected, there is an issue. The left speaker’s microphone switch does not work, so therefore true play does not work for the stereo pair either.I searched Help and didn’t find anything.I tried online chat, but I would fill out all my information, then it would dump me back out and ask me for my contact information, over and over.I actually have a lot of things to do so it just like some help on this, if possible. I’ve spent quite a bit of money on these speakers (these aren’t the only ones). Thanks
Despite being plugged in and sat on the charging base my roam speaker won’t charge. It’s now flat and unusable. I’ve also recently changed broadband providers so I can’t see it on my system either as I can’t add it to the wifi!where do I start please?!
Last month, we smelled smoke coming from the room where our Roam was located. We ran to it, to find a terrible chemical smell and saw smoke coming from the speaker. The charger was their branded product and was smoking. We immediately unplugged it, burning our fingers in the process. We reached out right away. Sonos said they were replacing the speaker 3 weeks ago, even though I am uncomfortable receiving the same product. They’ve now gone silent. We burned our fingers unplugging this. They offered nothing in terms of any form of apology or compensation. We are now up to Level 3 customer service, which has proven to be as subpar as the first two levels. I’ve googled and there are multiple people who have had this issue. I have a client who specializes in class action lawsuits. Has anyone else had this kind of issue and was harmed? I’m wondering if I should reach out to them for guidance. Sonos won’t allow video posting here but here’s a screenshot of the smoke and melting from their So
Sorry if this was asked before! Sonos Move with blinking white light, held the power button down till it turn off, then did a factory reset, still same white light blinking non stop! Appreciate the help!
I am unable to connect my Move 2 to my Xfinity XB8 gateway. I also have the gateway connected to an Eero mesh network.when I login to the Xfinity app, I see that my Sonos speaker is connect with a “strong signal”. I have paused and unpaused which does nothing.the Sonos app does not show any devices however and the “account”, “services” and “system” menu options are greyed out. I was on with customer support for an hour and have restarted the router, rebooted the speaker and restarted the app multiple times.I suspect it may be the mesh network but I am less familiar with that. ideas?
This is my 2nd Sonos Move (first one was sent back under warranty) that won't turn on. I can't believe that these speakers are this bad where I've had two in a row stop working after less than a month I've tried all the factory reset nonsense and it doesn't work Does anyone have a different fix or possible cause of this? The speakers have been kept inside and not exposed to water.
I have multiple Sonos speakers including Arc Home Theatre Setup, Move, 2 x One’s plus a Roam unit.I live in a reasonably remote area and get power outages around once per month. All Sonos equipment powers up again with no issues communicating with each other or Amazon Alexa devices, Apple Music, Netgear Orbi router etc. - except that is the Roam speaker. Everytime I have to Reset from scratch. Once done it works fine until the next power Anyone else having this issue ? Thanks
Roam is excellent, portable and sound is good. Purposely purchased with mic for the TruePlay. Device needs 3 band EQ adjustment. Bass is outstanding, Treble is good, not great. Having no Mid adjustments is horrible! Seems like an easy software fix. Mid adjustment feature please!
I have Sonos on my outdoor patio, but not inside. I bought a Sonos Move and Sub Mini to bring the outdoor sounds inside, when necessary. However, I would like to be able to play JUST the Sonos Move and Sub Mini INDOOR, but I don’t get the option to “assign” the Sub Mini to the Sonos Move. Is there a sub that WILL pair with the Move, so that only those speakers are playing inside, and not have music playing on the patio at the same time?
I’m traveling with my Sonos Roam and can’t get the Bluetooth function to work. I’ve had it for a few years so it’s set up on the Sonos app (on my home WiFi network) and I have used it as a Bluetooth device in the past. I’ve read every post I could find and nothing has worked. As others have mentioned, I can’t connect it to my hotel’s wifi because the login requires a room number ( not a password). Might anyone have a suggestion? I usually travel with a cheap JBL Bluetooth speaker and I’ve never had an issue .. I brought the Sonos to treat myself as I’m gong for a long stretch. Thank you!
What audio output power does the Sonos Move 2 have? And what frequency range does the horn have?I already looked for it but some say 10W and others say 45W and others say 60W
Just changed from sky to bt sonos works apart from roam which just won’t connect tried all sorts - although factory reboot doesn’t seem to work either - any help gratefully received
Hei. I have 2 x Sonos one SL. I want to play audio from the projector with Chromecast 4 via BT. If I buy a roam and pair it with Sonos one sl, will it work? Thanks for the answer. 😉

My Sonos Move fails to connect to a Bluetooth device (Epson projector). It will find the projector but fail to connect every time. I have a Bose Bluetooth speaker that successfully connects every time so I can rule out the projector as the problem. Suggestions? This is frustrating and I'm contemplating returning this speaker.
My Move is dead! Completely unresponsive. No lights, led’s or anything. I’ve tried manual rebooting with no joy. I’ve tried charging overnight but n cradle and via USB, nothing works. Pressing and holding buttons for 5, 10, 30 seconds still no joy. any help appreciated, I’ve had it for just over 3 years and warranty has run out!
Is there a way to browse and edit what devices are paired with my Sonos Roam in the Sonos app? I’d like to remove a connection so it will no longer default to connecting to it.
No doubt this type of issue has been raised before, I’m “new” here and still attempting to find my way around, so please forgive in advance.I have a really frustrating reoccurring problem with my Roam in that it just suddenly disconnects (today it disconnected 4 times in the space of 90 minutes).I then attempt to reconnect (firstly via iTunes / airplay) and then in the Sonos app. I’m then met with a blank screen / can’t find your product etc with my Roam sitting no more than an inch away from me (I’ve stopped what I’m doing in an attempt to get the music going again).Eventually after many attempts, taking 20 minutes or so, I reconnect after force closing all apps, going in to Sonos, doing the “finding your appliance”, found it but can’t connect so switch it off etc…..But….during all of this and when trying to reconnect Roam to airplay I can easily connect to my Ray / SL setup that I have in the “man cave”…but Roam is nowhere to be found (Ray is in another room in the house at least 6 -
I use a Roam to connect one bluetooth turntable to the Roam and them my older Sonos System. Now I'm wanting to do the same but with two turntables and a mixer using a standalone Bluetooth Audio Adapter (like this one). How can I get the Roam to connect to the BT Adapter without an interface. Can I do something special in the iOS app? Something else?
Hello Sorry for my bad english.I have a big issue with one of my roam. The battery is full, the light is orange above the roam but impossible to turn the roam on.I can’t reset it… as the mechanic button is ko. Yet, it never fell. Could you help me please ?Many thanks in advance
Is anyone else experiencing an issue with your playlists being unavailable? I subscribe to Sonos radio and it just has a message saying no longer available. I can’t access audacity, Spotify, or any of my channels today. I see them, but they are grayed out. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, verified everything is on the same WiFi, and now I’m not sure what to do. Any suggestions? Thank you!
My sub keeps dropping out, and I go through the Sonos process to reconnect, but has never fixed the problemeventually it fixes itself but then happens again. Quite annoying.any suggestions? Thanks
My sonos roam is stuck in sleep mode, the app is alerting me to press any button - and even when I do it does not leave sleep mode. It also will not respond to me holding the power button for 5+ seconds. The device is stating that the battery is fully charged and the device is plugged in - however, when I unplug the Roam, I am unable to turn it on. Is this a battery issue, or a true sleep issue? I have owned the roam for less than a year.
