Hi AllI got a recently bought a ARC and hoping to connect with AMP to for the surround sound. I got an issue. The ceiling speakers that connect to the AMP simply don’t have sound. The sound only comes from the ARC, On the App, everything seems to be connected, as you can see on the screenshots. I can even play and pause the ACR through the touch button on the AMP. To me on paper everything seems to be connected, expect for the sound. I’ve tried the reset the AMP. and Yes, when is not grouped by surround sound, the AMP and ceiling speakers work just fine on their own.By any chance, someone knows how to solve this problem? Thanks a lot!!
Hi, I've just purchased a Beam and tried to add it to my "Living Room" but it's created "Living Room 2". I don't want to connect them together but can they be in the same room? Not surely if I understand how the rooms work?!? I have tried to rename/move the rooms but just ended up switching the around.

I bought a surround sound set, Beam, 2 x 1’s and a Sub Mini. The beam and the 1’s were very easily set up and sound great but the sub, I just can’t get it to be recognised. I’ve tried over Wi-Fi and Ethernet connection and no joy. Tried booting it all up again, and again and again. Anyone got any tips? Suggestions?
I recently purchased a Sonos Arc and Sub. I selected white to blend in with the existing decor. My Sub came with a white cable but my ARC came with black power and black HDMI which both stand out like dog’s b***s. I emailed SONOS (apparently the CEO) and asked if I could exchange the cable. I received a reply from a Dion stating that the cables only come in black. I have seen other posts where customers have received the same colour cable as the component they have purchased. I have also seen on SONOS website that white cables are available for purchase. Surely this isn't a hard thing to get right. Not a cheap item to have cables that don't match and then be told they don’t have white cables??? Anybody else have a similar problem and met with success?Disappointed in SONOS 😒
Sonos Sub is not connecting to my Samsung Frame TV while using 4K Apple TV. I recently bought a 2022 55” Samsung Frame TV for the art mode.On the Samsung One Connect box, I have:4K Apple TV in HDMI 1 Sonos Arc in HDMI 3 (aRC) Using the Samsung Frame TV with the 4K Apple TV - only the Sonos Arc comes on for audio - the Sonos (Gen 3) Sub does not start-up and connect, and I haven’t been able to make the Sub connect manually using the Sonos app. On my previous 55” TCL 4K TV, while using the Apple TV - the Sonos Arc would automatically connect to my Sonos (Gen 3) Sub. Interestingly, now, when I connect to my Sonos system directly from Spotify on my iPhone - both the Arc and the Sub work together seamlessly. How can I get my Sonos Sub to work while using both the Samsung Frame TV and Apple TV?
I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and two Sonos Ones as surrounds. My tv is a Philips 40PFL5xx6H model from 2011 - it has no optical port, has one HDMI and one HDMI ARC port.Everything is connected with wifi and bluetooth. The surround is set up. Trueplay done and all. . Steaming music from Spotify works wonderfully, but that's where the good news comes to an end. I've spend most of my day today trying to connect Sonos to my tv and it doesn't work.I have enabled CEC / EasyLink on my tv settings, have disabled the tv speakers and enabled the HDMI ARC plug where my Sonos beam is plugged into. (I accudently plugged it into the normal HDMI port first, but that didn't work and I have reset my Sonos and started over since) I have disconnected everything else from the tv/HDMI ports: both chromecast and the receiver are currently disconnected and only Sonos is connected to the to. The TV is set to use this HDMI port as source, and I see some close ups of Sonos products on my tv - so the TV and Son
Hi All, hope you can help….New Ray owner. Problem is Remote only works reliably with Ray if very close (2-3 ft). Any ideas much appreciated before I contact Sonos to return. Thank you.Details…Normal sitting 7ft away, only 10-20% operational so takes ages to change volume up/down. Repeatedly pressing the volume up/down light on the Ray only flashes about once every 5 or 6 presses.Diags so far…* Setup Ray and Samsung One Remote exactly as per instructions.* Re-Checked all setup steps. * Replaced Batteries in remote. * Tried an alternate Samsung remote we have (shows exactly same problem).Reconfigured Remotes to TV - both remotes works perfect when just controlling TV.* Ray is on a pan flat wooden surface, tried moving back a few inches and close to front of surface (almost hanging over).
Hi,i bought the Sonos Arc SL 2 weeks ago. Just the past 2 days i start noticing that the sound bar keeps getting disconnected from the TV for a few seconds (switch back to TV speaker), and then connects back itself. I did some research online and in the forum, it looks like i’m not alone. But i can’t find anybody has provided a solution yet. I’ve submitted a diagnostic report right after the issue has occurred: 710197482, can someone help me take a look whats going on, and how to solve it?i’ve tried power cycle the arc, turn off the “auto power off” feature on the HDMI port on the TV, made sure all firmwares are up to date. nothing helps my setup: Sonos Arc + Hisense projector TV(eARC HDMI) Thanks a lot
Hi, my playbar makes a continuous high pitched noise whenever plugged in. But, if I plug into a socket in a different room in my extension it doesn’t make the noise. But it does everywhere else. None of the rest of my set up is affected. Any ideas of how to solve out there?
Hello! I am completely stumped by issues with getting my sonos beam to be the default speaker when I stream content through my apple TV 4k. I feel like I am going crazy and I definitely think I am overthinking the solution but I would be very grateful for any input! I guess this is more challenging due to the AORUS FO48U being a monitor rather than a TV.The Tech I have available:AOURUS FO48U, apple TV 4k, Sonos beam gen 2, Skycrop HDMI switch extractorThe challenges:AORUS FO48U has an integrated soundbar which the apple TV 4k auto selects (I have it muted the integrated soundbar but not disabled it not sure it can be disabled) The sonos soundbar is able to be selected via airplay and used temporarily AORUS FO48U does not have an HMDI ARC or eARC port or optical out portThe Goal:To have the apple TV recognize the Sonos soundbar as the default soundbarCurrent Set Up:I have used a HDMI Switch Audio Extractor (that has optical out and HDMI arc port) but plugging the soundbar into either th
Hi I’ve tried these steps: Hi @Reckit If by reset you mean return your Sonos products to factory state. Don’t do it. Instead try this:1. Unplug all Sonos2. Unplug your main router3. Delete the Sonos app from your device4. Plug in your router5. Check it’s admin page for updates and install if available6. Disable DHCP for satellite nodes7. Reboot your router8. Power Cycle your iOS or Android device and connect to WiFi 9. Connect the speaker you hard wired directly to the main router and not the switch let it come back fully10. Plug in other Sonos 1x1 and let each come back11. Re-install the Sonos app and choose “Connect to existing system (Sonos)12. Test your SonosLet us know how things sort out. Cheers!Edit: If wiring the speaker to router is not possible you may want to consider adding the Sonos Boost module to establish the Sonosnet. If the above doesn’t resolve your issues I suggest you submit a diagnostic, post the reference ID in this forum and contact Sonos Tech support. But still
My Arc is plugged in using the arc port on my Samsung tv. I’m trying to set up my OneSL speakers but the app isn’t discovering the Arc. It’s displaying the two new One SL’s and the Beam that’s set up in a different room. move reset router, unplugged, etc.. nothing. I just need to Arc to show under my products so I can link them to the Ones. Any suggestions appreciated!
About 3 months ago, Xfinity upgraded my DVR to their 4K Cloud box. Since then, I’ve had lip sync issues on my Beam Gen 1. I have been using eArc on my 2020 Sony Android TV. Content from the TV Apps does not have the lip sync problem. So it’s definitely a sourcing issue (I think).I use the Xfinity box for almost all content. I wrote to HDFury, with my specs and they claim the Arcana will fix this. Then I just have to learn how to adjust the volume with the remote, since the Beam won’t be talking directly to the TV eArc CEC., as I understand it.I read that the Beam Gen 2 has a faster processor, but if my eArc is not sending the signal fast enough, I’m not sure how that could help.If given a choice between upgrading the Beam Gen 2 or buying the Arcana, which is the choice to solve the problem? BTW, I have two Ones for Surround.
I have recently bought a pair of One SL. Trying to connect it to my exisiting Home Theatre system.Current set up for HT is 1 x Playbar, 1 x Sub, 1x Amp.Amp is connected to 2 x in-ceiling speakers as surrounds. When I try to group the new speakers (tried both as Stereo Pair and individually) with the existing HT system, i can not do so.Get error message saying Unable to Connect Device. Try again.. Of note, no issues with internet connection. Have tried by turning off and on (both speakers and router) - but no success. Much appreciate any ideas/ suggestions.
