The surrounds have recently dropped off my ‘upstairs’ system and I keep getting ‘there was a problem adding….’this is my set up.Downstairs: playbar (wired to router), sub v2 and 2x play 1’s - working fine.Upstairs: Arc, Sub v3, One SL and a One v1.   The surrounds had a sulk and dropped off when I changed our Wi-Fi network and won’t re-connect.    They are functioning correctly as individual speakers and will stereo pair but won’t reconnect as rear surrounds.all the firmware is up to date including a roam and move.  I’ve restarted all the speakers on this system and am now at a loss.When I try and add, I get the chime from one of the rears, but then it fails.any suggestions welcome.

Sometimes, when we select TV as our source, it gives us sound from our Sonos Beam, but not our additional living room speakers. When we try to add those speakers and hit Apply, we lose all sound, and “SPDIF: shows under the TV audio label instead of HDMI. Why does this setting get turned on and how do we avoid it?

I’ve had an Arc w/ 2 speakers + sub, plus 6 Amps (all S2) for years has been working fine, the bugs started recently about when the new app problems started.  I just tried the new Aug 28 app release - and yes rebooted all the devices/iphone/router and problems still occuring to the point the Arc is mostly unusable (usable but requires constant fiddling with the app to reconnect the Arc while either playing music through Spotify or watching anything on the connected Xbox).Problem #1 - Arc constantly drops out when grouped with other amps (not using the Sonos App Groups, but checking them off in the app as added together and the grouping showing up in Spotify)I have 6 Sonos Amps (S2) and an Arc (with L/R speakers and a Sub).  Each amp drives speakers in different rooms.  The Arc doesn’t run off an amp and is in the living room and is also connected to the Xbox.I always play music through the house using Spotify and I connect all the Amps together with the Arc so i

Ho, I have a problem with my sonos era 100. I have a tv surround sistem which consists in beam, sub mini e and two era 100 for back left and right channels, the problematic channel is left back. A bunch of days ago I unplugged all tue devices because of a strange and loud sound coming out from the sub, then tue day after I plugged them in, everything works fine and connected evenly, except for the era 100 left back channel: it continues to blink white, without connecting successfully to the sistem. I tried to do a factory reset as explained in the manual, but it doesn’t work, it continues to blink white. What can I do?

HiI recently bought a bluetooth speaker but suffered a connection issue with LG tv so I’ve been trying to get a refund for that and looking for a soundbar for movies.My LG tv model is OLED65B3SW.AKRG and I’m trying to buy Beam Gen2 through Amazon since I can’t get it in South Korea which means this will be a serious problem to me if the Beam dosen’t work properly. So before I buy it, I’d like to make sure If there’s a slim chance of problem connecting between thoes two products.In addition, It would be appreciated if you let me know a Sonos offical seller in South Korea and how to get a support if I buy it through Amazon.

Is there a way to add more speakers to my surround room?  I have an Arc, 1sub, and 2 rears

I have a Samsung TV with a Sonos sound system. I want to have the sound played thru both the Sonos system speakers and the headset. The TV will not allow both the headset and Sonos system. Its multi output sound is greyed out and it automatically selects sonos. Is there a way to connect the headset to the Sonos system so that both play at different volumes?

My system keeps making loud arc noice and music keeps playing without me doing anything 

Hi all,i have a beam gen2, sub mini and era 100s as surround. Overall i enjoy my investment and i was one of the few lucky one didnt get effected from app debacle. My living room for this setup isnt big. 4.5x3.8m. inread a lot about if it’s a smaller living room sub gen3 is overkill but i wondered iff there is anyone out there tried both? Or there is a certain “feel” of difference between the both ? best

Hello all.  I have a SONOS ARC, 2 SL1s and a SONOS Sub.  The SONOS system is running off my home internet WIFI signal  The SONOS Arc is connected to the TV with an HDMI.  The SONOS system is Not hardwired through ethernet.I just noticed that the SONUS is putting out WIFI access that is not password protected - a signal which can allow anyone can access my WIFI - without a password.  (It comes up as an unlocked WIFI signal on all of my devices.)Question:  Is there anyway to add password protection to the SONOS wifi.  If not, can I deactivate the WIFI signal it is putting out?Thanks.  

Every single day I have to turn off/turn back on Sonos multiple times just to establish total connectivity for my set-up (Arc+2 Era 300s, Sub, and 4 satellites). Sometimes I have to reboot the router. All of this is HIGHLY annoying and makes me think Sonos must be unable to figure this crap out. I have too much $$$ invested in this for Sonos to not have a solution for almost completley sucking the joy out of owning this setup.

My Sonos remote has stopped working so I can't change the volume any longer 

Setup: Arc, Sub Gen 3, 2x One SL surrounds. All on wifi. Router about 25’ away from Arc. Sub about 2’ away from Arc. Surrounds about 12’ away from Arc. Router is configured with one SSID available in 2.4 or 5 ghz. Router system is Asus: one primary and two wifi-mesh nodes. Throughout my house, about 8 other Sonos speakers (mostly era 100).Issue: Configuration was working fine until the new app release in May or so (don’t remember exactly when I updated). After that, the sub kept disappearing from the app and network and the surrounds would show up as connected, but then not operate (i.e., no sound comes through them). Solution: Ran ethernet wire from router to Arc. Everything’s been working perfectly since.Although I don’t believe this is a “good” solution, it certainly seems to have fixed the problem.I believe Sonos needs to fix this more broadly though - part of the value proposition of Sonos (for me) is how well they work over wireless connections. Just acquired a Beam Gen 1 and trying to add to my S1 system. Speaker at factory defaults with flashing green light.  Used S2 app and followed instructions to downgrade. App finds speaker and on selecting downgrade to S1 the app immediately reports speaker now compatible with S1 and to use the S1 app to add to system.  That rang alarm bells as it didn't appear to downgrade the speaker - app immediately reported compatibility with S1.  Used S1 app to add Beam but after finding the speaker and trying to add the app states speaker on S2 software and can't be added.  Been through chat with Sonos and they couldn't explain it either. Have asked me to call on Monday to have a higher technical team look into it.  Tried multiple factory resets but same results. Also tried using different device but same result.  Anyone come across this and have any solution? 

I am unable to add my new era 100 and sub mini to my new Beam on my TV. Sonis support has suggested a work around that does not work. Are the engineers working on this problem? Does anyone know when it will be fixed? 

My Sonos era 300 is having severe glitchy audio skips. It’s apart of a surround sound setup with an arc, sub and another era 300. One era 300 works the other doesn’t. I took a video and recorded the audio of the issue, but unfortunately can’t upload that here. Anyone have experience with this?

I have audio problems, I have the "Sonos arc" with 2 surround "era 100" but during the playback of the rear speakers the audio is cut off as if it had interference, something that with the previous "one" did not happen to me, it is worth mentioning that the "era" are new. The problem is the interaction between the "arc" and the "era" since if he ungrouped them I don't have a problem, does anyone know what it can be?

Sub mini is not connecting, the app see it and the modem too but doesn’t connect to the ray bar and neither the eras speakers , how do I reset the sub? 

I have an existing Sonos Arc connected to TV with Hdmi cable, it working, now both a pair of Sonos Era 100 , want to them as two rear speakers, they are not pairing up as one unique system 

So I just bought a sub mini for an upstairs room. Not only will it not connect to my wifi (every other room works fine) but it seems to believe that it’s the sub downstairs causing problems there. That sub works, but now doesn’t show on the app.So I’m returning the sub that was delivered this afternoon, and have to say that if Sonos can’t get something so simple to work, there can’t be much hope for its future - or at least I don’t hold any.Just to save bandwidth - it’s not a wifi problem; its a Sonos problem that’s destroying the brand.

I just got 2 Era 300 speakers and after the initial setup and then adding them as surround speakers, the individual speakers are still seen as disconnected.How can I remove these or will they eventually disappear automatically?Here's a screenshot from the app to illustrate what I refer to with the individual speakers marked in red. 

Since the new software updates (both windows and ios), i have lost surrounds, sub, dolby atmos and spotify support. What am I going to do with my arc-one-sl-sub high-end-expensive mono speaker setup?  

I am not able to get my Phonak Virto Hearing Aids with the Phonak Bluetooth TV Connector (HA Streamer) in the Optical Out connection in my LG UN 70 inch 4K Smart UHD TV (LGTV) to stream simultaneously with my SONOS ARC audio system in the LGTV HDMI ARC connection. If I switch to TV Speaker/Optical Out, the HDMI ARC automatically switches back and drops my HA connection almost immediately. Switching off the Smart Link in the LG TV and then switching to TV Speaker/Optical Out is not a solution because I need to simultaneously stream to my Hearing Aids and also use Closed Captioning so that I can understand speech, without blasting the eardrums of others in the room, who can hear normally. Has anyone come up with a solution where we can use the SONOS in HDMI ARC simultaneously with an HA Streamer in Digital Out on the LGTV?Note: I use Android and not IOS.

After months of accepting sound cutting in my Sonos Beam 2 + Samsung Smart TV finally I found today solution by coincidence. I was digging into options and changed only one setting: All Settings/ Sound/ Expert Setting/ HDMI-eARC change to Auto and that’s all.

For those of you who already replaced Sonos One:s with Era 300:s for surround speakers, what is your experience? Was it worth it?
