Not sure what happened but it take way to long to finally Develop a connection with Bluetooth to my home system been a couple years. It has never been this difficult. Are usually try to connect to Apple Music on my phone.anyone else experience issues like this?

When streaming music at advanced volume levels the output level drops in sympathy with sibilant sounds, similar to severe compression. The effect isn't apparent on any other Sonos speaker in my system.

I am trying to connect my sky glass remote to my gen 1 sonos beam. The beam is connect via the admin arc socket. I have two ones and a sub connected as well. How do I get the beam to recognise the sky remote? Currently using a One for All remote for the volume which is frustrating.

Hallo allemaal, Een tijdje geleden is mijn sonos one sl kapot gegaan. Deze was maar 5 jaar oud wat ik vrij jong vond maar goed ik beschouw het als pech. Ik heb toen een nieuwe sonos era 100 aangeschaft zodat mijn systeem van een sonos one sl en een beam weer surround te maken. Alleen nu probeer ik deze weer bij mij systeem te voegen alleen ik krijg deze boxen voor geen mogelijkheid bij elkaar. Kan het zo zijn dat de era 100 niet te combineren valt mijn beam en one?Zo ja. Dear Sonos team,i noticed this aspect with soundbar Arc: in music or films, every now you have to exceed half the volume to hear well and i have to increase the volume up to 60/70. If i set it to 20 for example, you can hear very little and it is too low. I believe that it’s essential to improve this aspect correcting the volume scale. Hi all!Before this big update, when TruePlay was activated, Surround speaker distance and Sub phase control got automatically grayed out, as they were set by TruePlay.Yet, after this update, even though with TruePlay is activated, Surround speaker distance and Sub phase control are also available, which seems to defeat the purpose of having TruePlay activated.Is this still to be fixed? Did anything changed regarding this, and from now on it is supposed to have these settings available?Hope I can get some faeecback, specially from the Sonos staff.

Hi, I just purchased a used Sonos Sub gen1 to connect with my system. My system can find the the sub but says an update is required. OK so I start the update process and it has now been going on for 3 hours with 25% still not done !! What's going on here ? I already have a Sonos Sub gen 1 in my system connected to player working perfect. why's is this new “old” sub so hard to add/update ?  

Hello Everyone,I am an avid fan of Sonos since beginning thanks to my father but now I'm getting real frustrated over a matter. I have TCL 43c645 tv that I bought last year and just bought Sonos Beam (Gen 2) with my first paycheck after university.Tv recognizes Sonos when I do the setup via app and connect to an Arc HDMI with no problems but there is simply no sound.I have factory reset the soundbar, plugged everything off from the TV (the Nintendo Switch, PS5 etc.) tried to do it again only with Sonos connected to TV. No result.I have checked the CEC and also approved it so that should also be fine.I am running out of options and this is simply very sad for me as I am losing my trust in Sonos :'(P.S. The initial setup with the app to my phone was already a nightmare but that's something else, that one got fixed :)Funny enough I have no problems playing music from the Sonos app (Spotify) to my Beam Gen 2 Soundbar.Thanks for the help everyone in advance! I have a first generation Beam. Can I use either 2 Play 1 speakers with the Beam or 2 Sonos one speakers? I presume that I cannot mix them. 

I have setup a surround with Arc, Sub, and a pair of Play:1.    This is connected to the TV via HDMI to the TV eARC HDMI port.   The TV is a LG Nano99 65 inch 8K NanoCell TV (Model: 65NANO996NA.AEK) My problem is that the rear pair of Play:1 does not have sound come out when playing movie from Netflix or from my own movies from Plex.   The rear pair of Play:1 has sound when playing music from Spotify playlist “SONOS Dolby Atmos”. This works intermittently.   It has been working for some length of time when the surround was first setup last week.   Then, the rear pair of Play:1 is turned off and on (because I need to place them on stands).   Then, I have this struggle thar the read Play:1 plays no sound from Netflix nor from Plex.   I have tried power cycled everything.   Tried removing the surround and re-created the surround.   This has been done several times.  Of course I have tried playing music on individual Arc+Sub, each Play:1 and also both Play:1 as stereo pair.   All are done

Hi, I am planning to but a ARC S19 system as I found a good price for it. I know it is the older version but my question is, will I be able to connect it to other speakers / Sub in the future? does it support it?

I have an lg oled 65 tv, not e-arc. Everything has been working fine until this year, I get drop out constantly and have to switch to spdif/hdmi converter for it to work again. I have tried resetting and new cables also reset cec simplink. Last time the sound came back after a couple of months and now gone again. The arc channel works fine on other devices I have and I do have picture from the port. 

Hello. We recently switched WiFi to AT&T Air. My Sonos system worked very well before and I have made some progress in setting Sonos system up again under the new WiFi. A couple of continued problems 1) - I can not get the Mini-Sub to connect - I have tried reset numerous times - the set up sees it (although i have to enter the code on the bottom of the sub each time- even with phone has no case on it) but when it come time to press the button on front - the light turns orange and the phone says it cannot connect - have tried this a dozen times - also directly wired the sub to router with no success. Any ideas? I successfully created new system and added Beam and two Era 100s as a stereo pair (just missing the sub), and added everything to Office as the room. In the past, all of the components showed up under one location - but now the Beam is separately in Office and the Stereo Pair is separately in Office - they appear to be two separate rooms - which is not doable and not what I

I am considering an Era 100 pair for my turntable and to use as surrounds for Beam.A little background on my Sonos system: the turntable; is a Victrola stream Onix currently connected to my Sonos system via Wi-Fi. Each beam is a different room I can use to listen to records. Beam Gen 1 is the BR soundbar, Gen 2 is the LR soundbar. Yes, each Beam has a subwoofer too; a sub-mini in BR and Sub Gen-3 in LR.Era 100 question: can these speakers be used as a stereo pair for a turntable when listening to records for better stereo separation; and switch to rear surrounds with Beam Gen 2 when watching a movie easily? I also would like to use the Era 100’s Bluetooth to connect a PC, Phone, or tablet to my Sonos system. However, I read or saw if you set the Era 100s as surrounds Bluetooth and maybe line-in is lost as an option. I think I would need to add the Era pair as a room for listening to records on the Victrola stream. I think this option lets Era’s Bluetooth stay available however I think

Hi alli read that for good Dolby Surround you need this Arcana Device, so i bought one.No i have no idea how to Connect. I tried to connect the Epson HDMI2 ARC Output to the Arcana Input and the Arcana out to the Sonos ARC. with this i got no sound at all. I also bought 2 18MB HDMI cables. Can it be that the ARC does Not work with this cable or what i am doing wrong?Thanks for your helpAlex

The controls for surround have vanished , such as full vs ambient etc. the only option is to reset and it doesn’t seem like it will even do that. 

I have an LG G4 TV and I want to connect it in to my Sonos system but I don’t want a soundbar on the wall. I have a 1’ x 1’ box cut out in wall behind the TV that I could put an Amp but that seems like an overkill solution when all I need is to get TV audio in to the system. I use an Apple TV for streaming everything. I have speakers in the ceiling and elsewhere that will be the audio for the setup but they will connect in wirelessly once I figure out how to get the TV audio (Apple TV) in to the Sonos network. I could also drop a wire behind the TV through the floor to the basement and put an Arc down there (again, not for the sound just to get in the system) but again that feels like an odd solution. I don’t think the port works given the analog audio inputs. Thoughts?

I’ve seen a lot of posts about this on the forum but they all seem to be resolved by changing the TV settings but I have tried all that and I’m stumped! I tried my Apple TV 4K (2022) and also a Google Chromecast with TV connected to the projector HDMI 1, Sonos Beam gen2 connected to HDMI 2 (eARC).If I set the projector audio to "Bitstream", I only get PCM 2.0 coming from the Sonos. The projector only has two audio output options, Bitstream and PCM. Viewsonic told me that PCM is for output via the projector’s internal speaker. Nevertheless I tried the PCM option and nothing at all comes out of the Beam so that tracks.Now when I connect either of these streaming devices to my LG TV and then Sonos on the TV's eARC, with the TV set to “Pass Through” the Sonos plays Atmos correctly.Also with the Chromecast there's an option to detect all the available formats supported by the audio device, and through the TV eARC I can see Atmos listed, but through the projector eARC the Chromecast can't de

Hi, I have an old 5:1 Bose system with the 5 small speakers on the wall but the Accoumastic/ subwoofer doesn’t work anymore. Are these 5 what’s called passive speakers?  Will the Amp or the Port from Sonos allow me to connect the five small speakers from the wall to the TV?  Or what sort of set up can you recommend or suggest?Any tips are much appreciated.  I would prefer not to waste these 5 speakers.  

My kids switched off the been and sub, and now I can't reconnect to my Sonos app. I have done most of the ideas I've read but it gets to finalizing connection and that's where we stay forever. Any ideas.  Thanks 

My TVs don’t even see my Sonos devices any longer with the new update. Really regretting this unreliable system that Sonos seems intent on making worse.
