I am having issues when I am watching anything with atmos I am experiencing echo through all the speakers. I have unplugged the arc and plugged it back in but still doing it. I have a arc x 2 era 300s and x2 subs can anyone help cheers 

I’m using a furète max 4K as audio and video source. It is connected to my tv on hdmi2.1 port. The tv is set for audio pass through on hdmi arc. The hdmi arc is connected to the Sonos arc. There is audio but in the Sonos app it has no audio in source listed and only stereo pcm is playing. If I rewire everything but use an onkyo tx-nr555 as source with the Max connected to an hdmi 2.2 on the amp, I get full spatial, hd and atmos. Why not with the max and arc by themselves?

I have spent hundreds of pounds on the system from Sonos. I have two Era 100 speakers which constantly disappear from my network and app, and do not connect to the Sonos Beam 2nd gen. I have tried everything at least three times, and the Beam still does not see the Era 100s (stereo) on the app and in my system. I don’t really understand how the Sonos people can sell faulty products with a non-working app and pretend that they are high-end products. This is rubbish! I think I am going to ask for a full refund! They have also changed the streaming quality  in my opinion on the older speakers to make you upgrade, as they do not sound as good as they used to! do you guys expirience the same????Class action, anyone?

Hi, my current setup for Home System 1 arc 1sub and 2 Era300. I want to add turntable to my current system what is the best option? Add a port, Amp or use my current system.My Era had been disabled for line in. What the best recommendation for pro-ject turntable.

Hallo, I have a problem, my speaker Sonos playbase makes a short repetitive beeping sound. I can't find on the internet what this means.The speaker is also not found by the app. Holding the connection button did not give any results.Hope somebody familiar with this problem and can help  

Hi. I’m using the latest ATV which is connected to Hisense U7KAU via hdmi. The tv is connected via the earc port to a Sonos Beam gen1. The Beam, along with a mini sub and era100 speakers are used for surround sound. ATV sound is set to DD5.1 and TV is set to passthrough audio.  While watching a show via the ATV, the sound will suddenly go weird for 5-10 seconds. I can still make out what’s being said on the show during this period, but clearly having a moment. The sound comes right again after the 5-10 seconds and the show continues. Also, and this is by far the biggest and most regular issue - turning the tv/ATV on or starting a show on any of the streaming apps on ATV, the tv will suddenly show ‘white ants’ (also known as ‘white noise’ or ‘black and white static’). This doesn’t happen every single time I watch tv, only about 30-40% of the time.The only way to get things back to normal is to power cycle the ATV, TV and Sonos, all at the same time.. I’ve reached out to Apple and they d

I have beam gen2 with surrounds etc and apple tv 4k. Up until a day or 2 ago (suspicious of the latest sonos app update from a few days ago) if i have a netflix or disney+ content that is just 5.1 and if my apple tv set to dolby atmos - i used to get on my  sonos app multichannel 5.1 and i didnt like that because the dialogue was almost always a bit more quiet like this. So i always went to setting and switched to dolby digital 5.1 in apple tv audio aettings and i was getting 5.1 on sonos app.if i do the same now - i get stereo pcm. I am so confused. Am i missing something - anyone else having the same issue ?

When a few products are grouped all is fine all is well then a product cuts out but shows it’s playing. I remove it from the group and play and it’s ok but when regrouped no sound can be played. It’s quite frustrating and I’m really considering selling the sonos and getting another system. Too many issues. 

I have a Samsung TV. Audio set to Dolby Atmos. Shows EArc. I have Now TV uktra boost, which supports Dolby atmos. I play a show through there and the arc shows Dolby Multichannel PCM 2.0. Is this atmos?

Dear Sonos team,i placed the Sub Gen 3 in the corner between the wall and the TV cabinet. The distance between the TV stand and the wall is 43.5 cm. In practice, the Sub is positioned in the center of that distance. Is the position correct? Or is it better to always keep it in that space but a little more towards the outside? So that the two acoustic ports of the sub have a little more "breath".However i am very happy with how the sub works, the bass is spectacular.Good job

I have a solid red status light on ARC after update.Reboot and attempt at factory reset have the same result. 2 slow white flashes on the status light followed by the speaker light flash, this sequence loops a few times then solid red.I have tried factory reset with ethernet cable connected as well. SONOS chat support was not help after 2 hrs waiting for responses. any help please??  

Hello,I have an extensive SONOS system throughout my home and an Arc+2-ones+sub in the living room. The issue first occurred 5-6 weeks ago while an Amazon playlist was playing at a reasonable volume with 4 rooms grouped.It happened again 3-4 weeks ago and it was also on an Amazon Playlist with 4 rooms including arc grouped.  At this point, I assumed that it was a song with an issue.  It was annoying and creepy but I'd eventually be able to find/remove the song from my playlist.It happened again today while listening to an apple Playlist and I know for a fact it was a different song.It took me until today to realize the sound is emanating from the arc(because the sound is so loud it sounds like its coming from everywhere including inside my brain).  For a random period of I'd say is 5-8 seconds, a loud metallic, alien, and haunting sound comes out of the living room sonos which has the arc.  The volume of the sound is inconsistent with the volume of the music that was playing.  The musi

I’ve got my surround system set up as described.What I’ve done so far is to use the settings to adjust the distance of the Threes in the app. There is no perceivable difference in sound balance when I do.I have two surround choices: - Beam plus 2Ones - Beam plus 2Threes (current)The Threes are louder than the Beam and I can’t hear the Beam very well. I know the sound is somewhat balanced but it’s hard to tell.I don’t want to set up the Ones, just because, then all three components have mics. I can then separate the Ones in to two further groups.How do I balance the Beam with the Threes.

Randomly, but more often than not, my Beam is muted when I turn on my new TCL TV. The only way to unmute it is through the Sonos app. I am connected via eARC. Once unmuted all is well.

Where is the button on the new SONOS App (as of May/2024) for Speech Enhancement while watching TV.   This button use to be on the EQ screen under Sound.   The same screen that allowed you to adjust Bass and Treble and “Loudness” and also has a Reset button, use to have a button for “Speech Enhancement” while watching TV.  BUT, that button is gone now in the App.   Hard to believe that SONOS would eliminate this option.   So where was it moved to?

I am happy to finally upgrade to an ARC soundbar and Era 300 side speakers.  I watch television/streaming services and listen to music.  Do the surround sound speakers work with television/streaming?  Not sure if I am not setting them up correctly, that my tv doesn’t offer it, or that surround ever works with tv/streaming.

This one is a bit complicated. I have a LG UR8000 TV, Google Chromecast 4K, and Sonos Beam (Gen 2). This week I tried playing the new Lord of the Rings episode and I had no sound. I finally figured out there was a slider to disable Dolby Digital Plus. Once doing that the audio was working, with surround sound, but the Sonos app said PCM Stereo. Before turning off Dolby Digital Plus there was no audio showing on the Sonos app. I never had to turn off Dolby Digital Plus before, thought maybe Dolby Digital Plus is a new option.I am using passthrough bitstream eARC on the LG TV with the Chromecast 4K. I am casting the show from my mobile phone. The Chromecast 4K shows in the settings Dolby Digital Plus is compatible and enabled. PC connected on another HDMI port plays Atmos videos without any audio issues.Prime Video settings are set for Best quality and unlimited data. There is a weird behavior between my devices.I have a LG OLED65CXAUA tv and a PS5.  They have worked great together for a while.  In the last year I added a Sonos Beam to the tv - it works great for the TV and the PS5, the sound is wonderful. But weirdly, since I added the Sonos Beam, the PS5 will randomly wake up from sleep mode and the TV switches from whatever I was watching to the PS5.  I can switch it back but it is annoying.To be clear on the set up: the Beam and the PS5 are both plugged into the TV.  Any clue on how to stop this? 

My tv is connected to my sonos playbar. Its working well.I have the soundlevel set to 70 as I Can manage the soundlevel when watching tv using the remotecontroller.so far so good.when using the playbar connected to Spotify, I turn the soundlevel to a much lower level .when I have switched off Spotify and subsequently want to watch TV, the sound level can only be turned up to the low level at which I listened to Music. cannot therefore be optimized for the sound limit Set for the soundbar in the Sonos app.is there any solution to that problem

I cannot get my Sonos Amp to play audio from Insignia Firestick TV. I wont go in to specifics regarding prior configuration as needs have changed (major difference is, I only need to transmit audio from TV to Sonos Amp) but know that the prior system worked as needed using same cables. I now have a Insignia Firestick TV connected to RCA Audio Balun connected to ~50 ft of ethernet (I dont know if CAT 5 or CAT 6 but it did work in prior set up) back to audio balun into new Sonos Amp.Note, I can play music through speakers via the Sonos amp just fine. Which tells me the issue lies from the TV to the Sonos Amp. Again, prior wired connection worked just fine. I have tried every TV audio setting/configuration. I am considering returning audio balen (as well as a Sewell Sound Link Audio device that I tried) and will try a 50 ft HDMI but that is not preferred as that requires more drilling and labor (when I dont believe that is necessary as again, it worked on an older TV and Sonos device - I

So I have an existing system of two Sonos Eras 100’s and one Play:1. I recently made the plunge and decided to buy the Arc for my TV. Easy install: as soon as I did it, I had ZERO issues with my Arc playing audio with my TV//Apple TV. And even though all 4 speakers show up on my system in the Sonos app (iOS), I simply cannot play music to ALL Sonos devices from Spotify. I can either do 1. Play music to my two Eras 100’s + Play:1 *OR* just to the Arc. When I pair them all together in the Sonos app, NOTHING plays - complete silence. HELP! 

I am done with sonos will not play any of my songs any more it is grade out even if it in my downloads on my computer. Don't know what changed this year but now I am going to buy other system that don't have so much control over my music
