Hi,When my router restarts only 3 of my 6 speakers are found in my system. Can you tell me what I need to do be able to get all 6 back in te system without having to restart them?I wonder if I have done something wrong on the initial setup. units that appear automatically in app:1 Amp1 Play:51 One Units that need restart after router restart1 One2 One SL Hope you can tell me what i'm doing wrong.  

Does anyone know why my arc works through the tv sound, I then switch to music and it works and then going back to tv the sound doesn’t come back to through the arc? 

When I first hooked up my Sonos Arc with x900F, I was able to see the splash screen via HDMI3 (ARC port). After updating my x900f to the new OS, the splashscreen no longer shows up when I switch to HDMI3 - it is now showing no signal screen (default).Sound is still working but not sure if this is normal. 

I have a Play5 S1, in what I optimistically call my “gym”It was set up with a SUB.  My sub died. A sad day.Since it was still under warranty, I took it to the store, and they gave me a new one (yay).I went home and I added the new SUB. I went to the Gym Play5 and selected “Remove Sub”, it indicates a click, but nothing happens. I cant remove the old dead sub from my Gym Play5.When I go via the SUB, I can add it to any other speaker, just not the GYM one. I have tried many times in different ways. , power cycle, etcHow can I get rid of the old one so.I can add my nice new sub?  

I have a pair of Play 1 speakers - part of a surround system.  All of the speakers in my house are connected (every room of the house) and are showing up on my app but one of my Play 1 speakers no longer has sound?  The pause and volume level buttons work on the system but no sound from the speaker.  was working fine last week?

Hi,I am building my new house and planning to get inceiling Sonos speakers (2) with Sonos arc.later buy a Sonos arc and woofer and setup a 5.1 surround sound .  the arc needs to be connected to tv hdmi and arc will connect to amp through wifi.this setup works for tv surround sound .  however if I want to listen to audio only , Spotify or Apple Music ,will the above setup works with arc powered off and music coming off the 2 ceiling speakers ?? Thanks,Ram

Hi Guys , I have a number of Sonos products and was looking for advice on how best to set up them together. In my living room I have my TV a connected to a sound bar , a Sonos bass and two Sonos 1. I got a project deck (without Bluetooth) and I need to connect it to the system. I do have a Sonos 5 V2 which I can connect to the deck. So that means in the living room I have a play bar , a bass , two Sonos 1’s and now a Sonos 5. Can you please advice what is the way to set this up. also any advice as to where to put each speaker in the room will be very helpful 

Hello, first time poster. Recently moved into a new house, I’ve had to wait a while to get funds sorted to kit out the theatre room. In the interim I put in a small/minimalist floating shelf below where the TV will be mounted. Shelf space where roof speaker wires come through the wallI made an error in making this shelf compact (1M X 30CM) because now I can’t properly fit in an AV receiver for the 5 speakers I have in the roof. However, I’ve been advised that a Sonos Amp could be used to power the two rear roof speakers, and then I could potentially just go with a Sonos Arc to be wall mounted there as well. That combination (along with a Sonos Sub) should give me a good theatre room experience (so I am told).Question: Is one Sonos amp + Arc + Sub going to work in this situation? Will the amp power the two speakers and the sub (2.1 channels?)Annoyingly, this seems to make the other 3 roof speakers somewhat redundant. Hi everyone, hoping someone can help me out.  I have an existing Beam set up to my tv in a room called “Living Room”. Recently picked up a used Connect (Gen1) and have it hooked up to an old Yamaha receiver (CR-620, if you are interested). The receiver in turn is connected to a Yamaha turntable (YP-511). I have set up the Connect to a room called “Record Player”. From the receiver I have analog cables running from tape rec out to the Connect analog in. When I plug the cables into the rec out, I hear crackling from the Beam so I know it’s picking something up, but I cannot get it to pick up sound when the input is switched to “Phono” on my receiver!  I just cannot work out what (probably obvious) thing I’m doing wrong.  Many thanks in advance for any advice you can give me! Graeme

Is anyone else having terrible problems playing anything on their Sonos system?  It seems to be worse on the weekends so I think it’s their servers capacity or something. Here are a few (but not all) of the problems I’m having.  speakers dropping off the system randomlysonos app will open but freezes with the screen all grayed out and no information populatedspeakers going silent mid song after minutes or hours playing just finesometimes the entire system (all 5 speakers) will stop but on the app for all these cases it will show the speakers still online and playing music as though nothing is wrong!pause button in the app and on the speakers doesn’t work consistently (yes all three different models)I have a stereo pair that never seems to be able to play both at the same time and it’s inconsistent as to which one the culprit is that particular moment!I have random volume increases or decreases The music will skip forward or jump back randomlyThis happens across all apps over airplay or

Dear All, i got a problem with my Sonos arc.the voice sound metallic with pscht pscht effect, very uncomfortable for the ears especially when streaming on Netflix. i did re tune but nothing change anyone got this issues? thank you

HiI’ve had a Sonos Arc since they first came out in June, but have had repeated audio cut out issues with it in the past few months with my Samsung Frame 2020 TV. Those issues have been widely reported in these forums already. I’m living with lack of Atmos in the hopes that Sonos and Samsung will eventually resolve this… What I am seeing now though is different and I’ve not found any related questions. My Arc seems to randomly decide to power cycle entirely - audio cuts out, and the lights come on as if it is restarting from being unplugged and plugged in again. I’m at a loss as to what could cause this. It will happen regardless of whether there is audio playing.  Have checked all of the cables, changed power sockets, and left everything off for a bit. Nothing helps with this randomly occurring issue. I took the liberty of submitting a diagnostics report (number 1456821504).  Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Hi FolksAfter posting last week about the issue I have with my wireless network not supporting surrounds I tried as suggested resting my router and connecting the beam to the router with an Ethernet cable an it hasn’t worked and the router is too far away for the Beam to be permanently wired. I have also restored factory settings and reconnected the 3 speakers and the message still appears. Does anyone have any other suggestion or am I being forced to buy the Sonos Boost which I assume would fix the issue ?Thanks in advance for your help 

I dont seem to be able to get sound out of my Beam when I connect it to either my Blu Ray player or directly to my BenQ TK800 m projector.  Is there an ‘idiots guide’ as not particularly technical!  Both are new and I was expecting to be able to ‘plug and play’ but having read various posts I now realise it is more complicated than I thought.  Thanks in anticipation for any help provided. 

I just bought a house that has existing in-ceiling dumb speakers, and I have a Beam. What I don’t have is $650 for an Amp (I just bought a damn house, I have negative money!). I don’t really need to connect the in-ceiling speakers to my Sonos system; is there a cheaper alternative that allows me to use the beam and the dumb speakers together just for TV audio?

Hi all - Drawing a blank on this. I have a large Sonos setup and am finishing a kitchen reno with wired sonance speakers. I wired two in ceiling and two in wall. They have separate amps in my comm center so I could separate the zones. I was planning to use the two in wall as surround for my Den TV. That TV will be connected to a Beam. This is obviously separate from my Comm Center.  Can I use the in-wall as surround, even though the TV isn’t plugged into an amp? I will also have a Sub set up with it. The In-Wall are running off a newer generation amp. Should I have run an HDMI cord to my comm center when the floors were open (too late now)?  

I’ve recently moved into a new place which already has an older TV, which has HDMI but no ARC or optical output. The sound on the TV itself and the 3.5mm sound output don’t seem to work, although the picture works fine. In any case I’ve brought my Sonos Beam with me, which I’d like to use to get the sound from my Chromecast. If I get something like an hdmi audio extractor from Amazon to put between the Chromecast and the TV, with an optical cable to the beam (via the included converter), should that let me get the sound through the Beam without too much lag? I’m aware this isn’t a standard supported solution from Sonos and it may not give the very best audio quality but I’m not in a position to upgrade the TV and I just want to get a reasonable viewing experience.Thanks in advance!

Hi - I’ve got very limited space in my flat and have had to keep my One SL on top my Port - do you think that the vibrations from the One SL could damage the Port over a long period of time? 

My Sonos has done this twice now since recieving this sound bar a week. The diagnosis #1834247281Please advise on how fix this. 

So my Sonos playbase has been giving me issues.  I’ve tried factory resetting it and still can’t find it.  what would you recommend?

hello. I have an Arc paired with two one SL as surrounds. One of the surrounds is buzzing when the volume in the movie gets loud. Purchased at Best Buy. Sounds like a blown speaker. It’s been like this since first installed. Do I bring it back to Best Buy or deal with Sonos direct. Thank you. 

Sony 900H TV with Arc. Simple system.Chronic intermittent audio drop out. 3 longs support calls with no solution. Really?Sonos had me:Send diagnostics; Reconfigure router; Change HDMI cable; Power down Sonos and TV; Change HDMI cable again; and Clean HDMI ports.Still have random audio dropouts. Sometime audio spontaneously returns, sometime must turn off and back on. Really? With so many reporting the same problem for 6 months, why no solution?

I have a Sony Bravia TV with no HDMI Arc but the optical cable port. I have my beam plugged in to this port. The TV has lost all sound and tells me that an audio device is connected so it knows the Beam is there. The Sonos app tells me that no signal is detected. I'm at my wits end. It's all plugged in correctly but the Beam is not playing ball. 

Hi, I just bought an Arc and a Sub3, but to be honest the sound quality of the Arc is really poor! When performing the Trueplay settings, the ‘beeps’ sound great and they fill the entire room. But as soon I play music (or tv audio) through the Arc, it sounds flat and lifeless. When I place a JBL Flip4 (€75!) next to it, it fills the room with a more pleasant sound. Dolby Atmos content (Netflix) sounds a lot better, although it still doesn’t feel like sitting in a ‘sound bubbel’  I can’t believe that the Arc isn’t capable to create a way better sound than it does now. Is this a software issue? I really consider (with reluctance) to return this set and move to another brand.   

Hi all,I’m fairly new to Sonos so please forgive my naivety. I have a very simple set up, ie from my Sony TV I have 2 x active Yamaha HS7 speakers simply connected from the headphone jack in the TV to the powered speakers with a 3.5ml cable that splits in to two that connect with XLR jacks directly in to the speakers. So the TV is essentially muted and TV audio is played through the Yamaha’s.  I also have a Sonos beam in my bedroom. Which I send music too via wifi mainly using Spotify. I would firstly like to add my powered Yamaha’s on to the Sonos network and think the easiest way is with a Sonos connect gen 1 (old school I know). These are my questions:What’s the best way to make that connection as I understand if I connect my TV to the Sonos connect and then to the speakers it will be great for just streaming music to the speakers but for TV audio there will be a delay and will be a sync issue between the TV picture and audio. I know the connect is not designed for any audio visual
