...I just want to see if there are any upcoming updates that will solve the compatibility problems between the Apple TV 4K and the Arc.My LG TV has eArc and it’s set to passthrough, and the program material on the Apple TV is Atmos, but the Atmos doesn’t go through to the Arc.  (Neither does 5.1 unless I do some finessing in the Apple TV, which shouldn’t be necessary considering the cost of the Arc.)I have the option of watching the programs through the LG TV onboard apps, and those pass Atmos through to the Arc just fine, but the video quality on those onboard apps is g.a.r.b.a.g.e.Is this ever going to be solved?

Occasionally, when I turn on my LG smart tv, no sound comes out of my Sonos Arc. If I turn the TV off and back on, the sound plays. It doesn't happen every time, just enough times to make it annoying. Any ideas on a fix for this? Tnx 

Hi there,i just purchased a Sonos Arc to replace my Beam to level up my sound setup.I have a Philips 50PUS7303/12 TV, the Arc is connected to the HDMI Arc port, and tv sound set to Dolby HD.With smart TV apps, the sound is just synced perfectly, but when I use the PS5 (configured to output Dolby), there is a enoughly large delay to be noticed (more than an half second of delay). When I change from Dolby to PCM, sync is better but the sound seems muffled.I’m a bit lost here and disappointed by the situation.Any idea on how I can solve this ?Thanks !

I’ve got Sonos beam + 2 Sonos. tv Sony kd-49x7000eI have problem when I play Ps4 games the sound is delay when I’m set up DD sound. Does anyone know the solution to this?

In the last few days I seem to constantly be losing connection to my sub and Play:1 surround speaker. They show up as ? In the app and I go through the whole missing product process and restart my router to get them back. This generally works and they are on for a bit then they go missing again.diagnostics submitted: 1476015795any ideas?

Hi! Recently I have found that my 2 SUBs and 2 Play 1 (surrounds) are detached from my living room HT setup, but they are not actually detached, but just from the Android app… That is when I check from “System”, it just shown “Arc” but not “(x2Sub + surrounds)”. It’s not showing “?” but nothing. Therefore, I couldn’t adjust the volume level of my Subs and surrounds. However, they are actually still linked with my Arc as usual. This happen occasionally and my only solution is to uninstall the app and reinstall it, then everything back to normal… Just wonder any of you encountered the same?

The Beam works well with the cable box as long as I’m watching shows from a channel offered by the cable company, but once I switch to an app, e.g. Netflix, with my TV remote it continues to play the audio from the cable channel I was watching and I can only hear the app through the TV speaker which sounds horrible compared to the Beam.  How do I get the apps to connect to the Beam? 

Hi, i am having an issue with volume not syncing between normal stereo content and high res audio.I have an LG 55 nano90 2020 model. I work with a Chromecast with google tv. Chromecast is in hdmi stating higher refresh rate. And Soundbar is plugged into the eArc port. Chromecast is also directly plugged in with Ethernet.*Yes ALL my stuff is updated to latest software. (Computer nerd, build computers...have Plex server...)At first I struggled to get the Atmos or Dolby format to play. Was only getting stereo. Finally found setting in Chromecast to allow surround sound formats and also set tv to passthrough.*Other settings hdmi is set to bitrate and not pcm. I have tried turning eArc on and Off. Unplugged system so it could reset between swapping. I have tried to turn off and on the CEC settings in Chromecast and or tv to see if that would help...nothing.I don't know what else to try...i have fiddled with app settings but not much. I just got the ARC and Gen 3 Sub. The ARC is set up and working fine with my TV. The Sub will not connect to the ARC for the life of me. Using a hard wire connection is not an option. I specifically purchased these units because they can use a wireless setup. I was able to get the sub to connect to the ARC but only for a second. I don’t even know if any bass came out of the sub during that second. My wireless router is right on the other side of the wall from my living room, no more than 10 feet from the ARC and the Sub so signal strength is not an issue. Does anyone know how to make these two work together? Thank you.

I currently have a sonos arc a pair of 5's as rears and 2 sub gen 3's just wondering if I can add 2 pairs of sonos ceiling speakers and a amp to play music and all work together as 1 I know I can't do this as a cinema system, I just want to play all together for music and have the first set up for tv 

Hello,I have a Eero mesh network and have tried the troubleshooting steps above, putting the mesh network into bridge mode but my living room setup (beam, sub and 2x one SL) still disappears from the sonos app everyday! At least once A day I have to search for missing products or update the network on my living room surround setup so that it returns to the app. This has been ongoing for about a month now, nothing has changed on my network. As a worst case scenario, yesterday I factory restored the whole living room and still the living room disappears from my app.  please help!!

Hi all, New to the world of Sonos. Treated myself to an Arc + Sub, connected to my LG C1 via the eArc HDMI port. I’m also using a PS5 for gaming and watching 4k discs.  My issue is I can’t get the Arc to play any of my 4k discs with Dolby Atmos. The ‘best’ settings I can get are Multichannel PCM 7.1. These are the settings I have on my C1: HDMI Input Audio Format: BitstreamDigital Sound Output: Pass ThrougheARC support: On And on the PS5:HDMI Device Type - Soundbar (have tried having this as TV and Amp too, results still the same)Audio Format Priority: DolbyAudio Format (from menu when watching 4k disc): Bitstream Im getting a bit flustered by not being able to figure out what I’m doing incorrectly! Any guidance, tips or suggestions to get Dolby Atmos working would really be appreciated.  Thank you for your time. 

I have ten Sonos products in my house and have never had any issues with my setup until this week and I’m about to lose it.My Master Bedroom has a Sonos Beam with two Sonos Ones set up as Surround speakers.My Family Room has a Sonos Arc with a connected Sub.Both have worked flawlessly for YEARS in this setup on my Nest Wifi mesh, never a problem -- until this week. All,I have a Sonos ARC connected to my TV. I use an Apple TV box to stream SiriusXM, Pandora and other music services to my TV, which then is heard through the ARC. What I want to be able to do is also stream to my Amp, which runs speakers on my patio so I hear the stream from the AppleTV box on both systems. I saw the concept of grouping, however it seems there must be 3 Sonos products to build a group?Any advice is welcome, please!

My (relatively) new Sonos Arc has been working quite well (~7 months) until now. The Arc is connected to a Samsung TV via HDMI cable and hard-wired via ethernet cable to my router. When I last tried to use the TV, I found that the TV audio will no longer play on the Arc. I also found that the Arc is missing from my Sonos app and missing from a speaker group that it was assigned to in my Alexa app. The Arc has a solid white LED illuminated next to the microphone icon, but no other outward indication that it is being powered. I tried all of the steps recommended by Sonos to get the device reconnected but all attempts failed so far. I even tried to connect to Wi-Fi after unplugging the ethernet cable but the Arc still won’t connect. Hello, I have a LG B9 OLED TV. Hooked up via eARC HDMI to my Sonos Beam.I also have a Connect:AMP, set as the surround speakers of my Beam.When I play movies via the Netflix of Disney+ app I don’t hear any surround sound via my speakers that are connected via the Connect:AMP.I submitted a diagnose report: 177965938Both the Beam and Amp are connected of LAN (wired) If I disconnect the Amp from the Beam I can play music from the Amp speakers TV Output is set to HDMI eARC and Passthrough (not PCM)

is sonos arc compatible with DirectV? Does it require more cables for connection?

I recently bought a Sono One SL speaker so I can listen to my music collection from my Brennan 2.I have followed all the instructions given on the Brennan and Sono websites.I can hear my music using the Brennan itself in my front room, I can hear my Brennan in the other room but as a separate channel.In other words, I can link my wired speakers and my Sono One SL to play the same music.I have tried activating and following instructions on Brenan/Sono websites, but no joy.Can anyone help?  Thanks.

I had the Sonos system for years with two sonos 3 and it worked great until I bought a Sonos Beam. Since then my original Sonos 3 speakers are redundant and cannot be used in the system.The sonos Beam works for one to two weeks then falls off the network for no reason. Eventually it connects again after a few days for no logical reason.The sonos support never respond and over the last 18 months have failed to provide any suitable response as to why the Sonos 3 will no longer work or why the Beam (which is wired directly to the router) drops off for no reason.Can anybody help?  

I have an arc, sub, and two Ones connected to my tv. For a couple of years I had a beam in this configuration and last summer when the arc came out, I switched the configuration above. I had to connect my arc to Ethernet to set up and it is still functioning that way. My arc is connected to the Arc HDMI port and never had an issue. I also have a Philips Hue light system connected to another HDMI port with my Roku and PS4 connected to that. This configuration happened around the beginning of January. Now, mid May, all of a sudden when we turn the television on with our Roku remote, the tv sound doesn’t automatically connect to the Arc system, stating that “the HDMI ARC is not connected”. We then disconnect, wait, and reconnect. We have tried changing the HDMI cable (x3) to no avail. We also purchased two Lindy CEC-less adapters from Amazon but both still had pin 13 intact, making them completely useless. Hello, I have a Sonos Beam and IKEA Symfonisk. Both are Airplay 2 compatible if I understand correctly.Since a few weeks they don’t show up anymore as “Airplayable” devices. Neither from my Mac, iPhone or software like Spotify I can select them as output device.I powercycled them, my devices and network a few times without success.I have added a diagnose: 353343145Edit: my Beam is connected to a Sonos Connect:AMP for surround sound, this is apparently the reason I can’t airplay to it. Hi There, I have a Five Sonos for more than one year (last generation) and recently bought the Sonos Beam, I connected it to my TV by Via HDMI ARC without any problems and then the Sonos Five (I only have those two Speakers) And everything worked well at the time but for some reason if I turn the TV volume up or down the it only works for the Beam Sonos, the Five Sonos continues with the same volume even if I put Mute on TV the Sonos Beam stops but The Five continues to sound. Do you guys know why? Is there some way to adjust this? I don’t want adjust the volume in the app every time, I would like it to be linked between them and work without problem. Another thing that I noticed is that when I turn them on there is a small delay entre the Sonos Five and the Beam Sonos and I do not understand why that happens. If someone can help me, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks

I have been struggling to get 2 One SL to link to Beam as rear surrounds. Had them working fine for about 30 minutes, now I can’t even see them in the Sonos app, have tried factory resets and also numerous power downs. I am on a BT home hub and have tried rebooting that. I am staring down the barrel of a wasted £360.

I bought a Sonos Arc soundbar yesterday. I just got off a call with the support team member and even after one hour of troubleshooting unable to get past the Sonos setup. I am using the S2 Sonos app. This is what was done: First time connected to Wi-fi, setup failed with “Error 30” (tried this 4 times 2 times from an android phone, 1 time from an iphone and 1 time from an ipad)  Tried with direct ethernet cable going to the router, got the error “Couldn’t connect to your Sonos”  Did Factory reset at least 17 times, trying all possible options.  Tried again Wi-fi, now after typing in the password the light on the Sonos Arc speaker would turn off, setup failed The support tech asked me for diagnostic info, and he said he could not determine anything from that, why even have such a useless feature in the first place?Overall: I just don’t know what to do other then be forced to return the product (honestly was so
