Sub connects to zone and shows up in app as working but as soon as you press play for that zone the sub light starts blinking green and won’t play.  Zone works otherwise.  I’ve tried many resets, hardwired connection, and 2 different subs.  Tech support didn’t know what to do so they are replacing both.  Has anybody seen this issue?

I just set up a brand new beam with my 2015 samsung TV through the arc port. It works great but each time I turn on my television the volume has reset to zero. How can I fix this? 

Does the Arc have to sit on the edge of the console if not mounted in order for the downward firing speakers to bounce off the floor and not the console? Or can it sit further back on the console?   

Hi guys,my sub can’t be connected at all. There’s no light no sound . I tried all ways on YouTube to ways to recover it but still nothing happens. And after reading some of the reviews I think I just make it to the top . 2years 4months and it’s just stops. Can any kind bros advice from here. 

Added pair of One SL’s to my Beam Gen2, no issues with wireless setup, added as stereo pair, etc... Beam Gen2 with One SL’s sounded great, performed great for about a week then suddenly disappeared.  Noticed no surround sound while watching UltraHD BluRay, SL’s no longer visible on app or appeared in system.  Went through EVERY support article, every troubleshooting tip available,  After hours of zero progress decided to factory reset One SL’s and start over.  App detected SL’s went through setup again. Setup fails at ‘connecting to wireless network’ stage. No changes were made to network, router rebooted, app and device restarted, all other devices including Beam working with no issue. Even went as far as resetting router (Verizon FIOS G3100 tri-band) back to factory and recreating my entire wireless network, new SSID, pw, etc… used ‘manage networks’ on app to update products, Beam located and updated to new network with no issues.  Tried to then re-add One SL’s, app, triggers audio p

After moving some furnitures in the living-room, I wanted to reconnect 2 play:1 with my sonos arc. And then everything went wrong !one of my play:1 is recognised as a play one SL. My play one in the bedroom , wich I did not moved, appears as an Arc… My arc appears as a one, etc etc. when I close the app, a diiferent configuration appears but never the Good one. Help please ! I have already restarted my router twice. 

I have a Sonos Beam (Gen 1) and 2 surrounds (Ones) for use in the kitchen. The purpose is to create even sound around the rather large kitchen. When the beam is used by itself, the volume must be turned up quite high for the person by the stove (with vent fan going) to hear audio accurately.  I added surrounds, hoping that I could send a mono signal out of all of the speakers spaced around the kitchen to even out the sound, so the level of each speaker can be lower. It seems that for TV sound, the only option is to stay in “surround sound” mode. Only sound effects or muffled speech to add audio depth comes out of the surround speakers which is not needed for listening to news programs while cooking or cleaning up. I can confirm that when listening to music the effect is fantastic with sound distributed evenly among the Beam and Ones. About 2 years ago I bought a LG model CXAUA TV and a Sonos Beam.  It worked fine for less than two months then the TV wouldn’t produce sound on the Beam.  You just got a circle with a line through it when you tried to adjust the volume.  I placed a warranty call on the TV and they replaced the motherboard and it all worked for a couple of years.  Then it happened again the other week.  Placed an extended warranty call and they replaced the motherboard yesterday at about 4:00.  It worked fine but then this morning, turn the TV on and no sound from the Beam.  Before I get another motherboard replacement I wanted to see if anyone else has any other ideas.  I’ve reset the TV to factory defaults.  Done the unplug everything and plug it back in movement.   Other steps I’ve taken:Replaced the HDMI cable. Verified SIMPLink is On. eARC was already on.  Turned it off and back on.Nothing.  Unplugged the Beam power cord for 10 seconds and plugged it back in to reboot it and still nothing.  Is the

Hello, I just purchased the Sonos Arc, Sub and 2 One rears pkg. I was trying to test the system by streaming music via airplay together with my 2 Apple Home Pods and 2 Home Pod minis. When all the speakers are playing together, only 1 of the 2 HomePod and 1 of the 2 HomePod mini plays with the Sonos pkg. Is this normal?Thanks,Eric

Hello everyone,I have a sonos 5.1 (Arc, 2 One SL, Sub) setup in a living room, and we have been noticing while listening to music via streaming from an app (Apple Music, Spotify) from within the sonos app, the sub audio stream cuts out for a varying period of time before coming back in. Doesn't seem to happen while watching movies or tv shows probably because the stream comes from the eARC rather than the internet.Things ive tried:*Changing the location of the sub to see if interference was a cause while all wireless mode.*Switching from a wireless setup to a wired setup (Arc wired to router, all others wireless on sonos net).*Switching to 2 wired (Arc and Sub wired, all other on sonos net)*Changing sonos net channel (Tried all 3, no fix)*Factory resetting Sub and re-adding to group (Both wired and wireless setups)*Resetting routerEven with both the Sub and Arc wired, the sub still cuts out so I don't think interference is still a problem. I play a 40hz pure sine wave through my sub at night to mask low frequency noise from outside. The volume of the sub is on the lowest setting. This has been good but recently it has started to 'pulse' rather than deliver a consistent tone which defeats the purpose of playing it. I removed and reinstalled the sub which seemed to help but even doing that isn't working now. Would anyone know how I can stop this pulsing or why it's happening?

I have the Arc, two Ones for surround and the Sub Gen 3 hooked up to eARC on my Toshiba E9 OLED (surrounds and sub are wireless).Arc is mounted below the tv.  Ones are behind the sectional.  The sub is against the wall to the right of the ARC.  The TV is in the corner. The app sees all the speakers.  When I turn the sub off in the app the bass sounds noticeably louder.  I’m concerned that the Sub has not connected correctly.

Hello!  I’m hoping someone on the forums here can help me determine if what I’m experiencing with my new sub is within the parameters of being normal or if I have an issue that I need to escalate to Sonos support. I got my sub on 2/12/2022 and immediately noticed a very low/faint hum and when I was down next to it tucking some desk wires into my tray, I heard a light tick, tick, tick, tick noise.  I have provided a video where I stick my phone right up to the hole and you can clearly hear both the hum and the tick.  Here are the specifics about the environment and t-shooting steps I’ve taken: -- Sub is paired with two play:1’s in a stereo pair in my office.  Will be generally used in conjunction with a Port and a CD player with occasional streaming via Amazon/Spotify/Pandora but mostly CDs via Port. -- Windows app and iOS app being used to control (mostly Windows app in office)-- I get the same thing if I carry the sub downstairs and pair it with my new Five in the living room or leave

Every few minutes the audio cuts out.  I’m streaming using various apps built into the Hisense TV.  Seems to happen consistently no matter the app.  Connected via HDMI using the eArc port on the TV.  I ran the submit diagnostics thing.  Confirmation number 1907441099 but the last audio drop was probably 20 mins ago.  I can do again closer to the drop if needed.  Hopefully can get some help.  Thanks. 

Hello, I just got a Sonos beam gen 2, but after connecting it to the hdmi arc input on the tv and setting the sound bar up with the app, I cannot get Dolby atmos to work.. when I go into advanced audio settings on the LG G1 Dolby atmos and greyed out and I can’t select it?

I have a Sonos arc for my tv and a Sonos 5 and a Sonos 1 at my disposal. Can I link both of them up to get surround sound or do I need two of the same type of speakers? (e.g. buying another Sonos 1?).thanks!

Hi all! I’m getting a deal on my first sets of Sonos speakers, and I wanted to seek some guidance on how I should set them up! The speakers are:3x Sonos Play 3 1x Sonos Play 5The above is being as a bundle for $600 (I think that’s a deal?). Prior to coming across this offer, I was looking into getting a Sonos Beam + 2x Sonos One for watching movies in the living room (or master bedroom). Though, I’m most likely still getting a Beam.Quick background: I currently have a dozen or so Alexa speakers setup throughout the home for playing Spotify music. They’re all a part of a multi-room speaker group. So if I pick up this deal + a Sonos Beam... is the best way to make use of these speakers is to put them in a 5.0 setup (Beam + 2x Play 3)? I’m not sure what else I can do with the remaining Sonos speakers other than plug them into some of my lower-end Alexa devices via aux. What do you think?

Using an arc and Sonos 1 speakers for surround. Wanting to have full stereo throughout the system instead of surround. Want to rears to have the same thing as the arc coming out. Is this possible in any way. 

Here is my issue: I am unable to get Dolby Atmos to display in the Sonos app when playing a movie. Here is my setup: Samsung UN55JS8500 UHD TV, Oppo UDP-203, HDFury Arcana & Arc. I have the HDMI ARC Input of the TV going into the HDMI Output of the Arcana. I have the eARC Output of the Arcana plugged into the Arc. The Oppo is plugged into the HDMI Input of the Arcana. When I play a movie that should have a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, my Sonos app displays Dolby Digital 5.1. The movie is being played from a backup of the actual UHD Blu-ray via my Synology DS920+. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

Hi please help I have so much Sonos.The playbase is not connecting to the sub and surrounds anymore.I have reset and reconnected everything but it still wont play any sound from the surrounds or sub. The app shows them as being connected but they dont play or finish the setup procedure. Hi,Recently purchased a beam gen 2, have tried everything I can google/YouTube to get Dolby atmos set up and working, phillips 58pus7805 ambilight - says it’s atmos compatible - purchased in 2021 HDMI lead provided connected to hdmi arc connection (all 3 on tv are arc - tried all 3) Netflix subscription is right, and I’ve tried recommend known atmos films etc,I cannot find anything in the tv settings which I’ve missed?   Please help! 😂

New Beam Gen 2 and Sub Gen 3 owner -- my first Sonos speakers.My Apple TV 4K is connected to my Samsung 6100 TV via HDMI. The Beam is connected from the TV via the dedicated ARC HDMI port. HDMI-CEC protocol (Anynet+) is turned on.I’ve confirmed through the Sonos app that when watching TV I seem to only get Stereo PCM 2.0 output, when I believe I should be getting some kind of virtualized surround output. Am I missing something? Or misunderstanding?

Hi, i have an open space floor plan (see pic), and I’m going to use multiple Amps to set up home sound.  In the living space, I’ll have an Arc with 2 rear ceiling Sonos Sonances forming an Atmos system, connecting to a single Amp,  and then I’ll have 2 to 3 pairs of Sonances in the large open area covering the kitchen, dining and living area.  (And I'll have outdoor speakers connected to an Amp; there are two outside decks, where the grids on either side of room are).Question: If I'm not using the Arc and Rear speakers as home theater/TV, can I switch their use/incorporate them into a larger all-over system? If so, then I won’t need an extra pair of Sonance speakers in the living area. I know the Amp can control up to 3 pairs, but they have to play the same sound.If I have the 2 rear speakers on one Sonos Amp, can I also connect two more pairs of Sonances to the same Amp, have the 2 pair shut off when doing Atmos, and then have the option to shift over all 3 pairs  supporting the all-o
