Hi,

So just recieved my Sonos ARC and was very disapointed to find that I have Audio delay when using it with my PS5 on any setting other than PCM but that means it is only using 2.1ch.

Both are connected to my TV with the Sonos Arc connected to the HDMI ARC port.

I have looked around already and found many with the same issue but most the posts are years old now so wanted to see if anyone knows a fix for this now?

Would a HDMI Arc splitter of some sort help?

I have heard of this HDFury Arcana thing, don’t fully understand it but is that something that potentially fix the issue?

Sorry for my wording/terminology I am pretty new to trying to set such things up.

TV model: Hisense QLED 50U7QFTUK

Thanks.

What model TV do you have?

Set your TV to these settings:

eARC: On

Dolby Atmos: On

Digital Audio Out: Pass Through

Set the PS5 to these settings:

Output Device: HDMI Device (AV amplifier)

HDMI Device Type: AV amplifier

Number of Channels: 5.1 ch

Audio Format (priority): Dolby (when streaming), Linear PCM (when gaming)

Thanks for the response, I tried all these settings and still getting some noticable lip sync while streaming. Though I only have the ARC setting and not eARC which may be the problem.

Anyway I found out it seems to work fine when streaming via the TV apps so It is just a small hassle switching between the 2 and a shame I can’t get a more immersive gaming experience.

Appriciate you looking into it!
