live sport sound cuts out for .1 of a second evey 3 seconds.

Maybe try powering off all at the wall socket - TV/Playbar - for about 3 minutes to drain the circuitry (maybe check, re-seat or even change the connecting optical cable too) and see if that sorts the issue. I would wait till half-time/full-time to do it.😂
