Hello,I am currently using the Arc with the original Sub and 2 Ones as rears. I ordered 2 Era 300s to replace the Ones. Will I lose any functionality by using the original Sub with the Arc and the 2 Era 300s?Thanks 

My TV setup is the Arc, a Sub and a couple of Ones for the back channels. Every now and then I wander into my kitchen which is just far enough away that the sound does not carry well. I’d like to add another One to the system that effectively replicates the TV sound (center channel, specifically, as that’s where the dialogue seems to be most of the time). I can create a Group for this, but every time I turn the TV off and back on, the group breaks. Is there a way to create a permanent group for the TV sound? The Arc is the key component here I think, connected to the TV by eHDMI.

I have an Amp connected to in-ceiling speakers and a Beam. Everything is currently configured as a home theatre with the Amp wired speakers acting as surrounds. This is all in our living room in the main area of the house. Is there a way to have two setups on that system? One for use as a home theatre, and another for music (that would use the ceiling speakers more fully)?

I have a theater room set up with a sonos arc, a sonos sub and four (4) sonos ones,  I use all four (4) sonos ones as surrounds speakers however there are times when I am watching sporting events when I would like to use my four (4) sonos ones as main speakers in my theater room. I have been researching on how to do this for weeks but with no success. Is there any way in which I can set up my sonos ones to have this flexibility?  Thanks,Stephen

I’m just asking if any tech experts or indeed any nontech LG owners can help.I have an LG 2019 tv. Also an apple 4ktv and Sky Q box. I had a Beam gen 1 and now a Beam gen 2.On receiving my Beam2 I decided to add my play 1s as surrounds. This was when the lipsync issue started, with video arriving before the audio. So audio delay settings on Sky, TV and Sonos app were ineffective. I then decided to use only LG native apps, not sky nor Apple TV. Still issue was present. By a process of elimination I found that there was no issue with the LG speakers - apart from the fact that they sounded hideous😳. The audio delay was coming from the TV - HDMI -  Beam route.I tried all the usual things, rebooting, resetting, swapping cables, etc.I then tried to research this through all online resources/forums etc  I could find. I came to 1 conclusion and 1 answer to this: 1, the conclusion, this is not that uncommon, particularly with LG, and not just Sonos.

I have a Samsung UE37D6530 TV and have just connected a Beam 2 via HDMI ARC.However, I can only get Stereo PCM 2.0The TV sound options are greyed out (other than PCM)Anytime+ (HDMI CEC) is on.Is there a way I can get something better than stereo PCM?Am I missing something, or is it just that the TV is a bit too old? 

There was a power cut where I live a few days ago and after that the Arc sounds much worse. It's quieter and in busy scenes the sound feels very compressed, very lifeless.I've unplugged and redone Trueplay but no improvement. Any ideas? Are the speakers damaged? Will a reset help?

Hello fellow Sonos enthusiasts,I’ve recently bought the Sonos Sub Mini and I’m heavily impressed by the sheer bass from such a small unit at that pricelevel. I have a par sonos one SL speaker currently used in other rooms of my apartment, but im thinking of adding them to my TV to get a surround 5.1 system to further elevate the experience. However my budget is currently low and behind my sofa there’s a windowsill i can use to place the speakers on (see image).  So what are you guys thoughts on having them facing the wall and making the sound bounce i feel like it would be kind of worthless but I have zero to none knowledge about speaker placements so i kindly ask for you input., Total setup:Sonos Beam Gen 2Sonos Sub MiniSonos One Sonos One SL Kind regard

Hello, I have a Sonos Beam Gen 2, 2 Sonos One, Sub Mini and I don't have enough space to put the Sonos ones as rears because my room is too small so I have them on either side of the beam gen 2. My question regarding this is how does it affect the sound? Does the Beam use the extra outputs to enhance the sound coming-out for better stereo? Does it just simply out but the same audio that already coming out of the beam? I ask this because I'm thinking of buying the era 100 but i would like to know how this paring works first. 

I have my bar connected to the tv through an optical cable.  This works.  I can hear the tv through the Ray.  When I turn on Sonus I can’t hear anything.  What do I need to change my settings to?Thank you

Hi, with the announcement of the new era speakers I was wondering if there was a way I could integrate the Era 300 and use them as rear speakers for an existing Sonos Arc - Sonos In - Ceiling (rears) and Sonos Sub.I would love to integrate the era 300 speakers but I don’t know if my In-Ceiling would be now unusable.Hope my question is clear and thanks in advance. 

I have an arc connected to a tv and wired to a router.  I have 2 Sonos, One’s and surrounds, and a sub, all of with are not wired.  Until four days ago, everything was fine, then the One’s and sub stopped playing and ungrouped from the arc.  I tried multiple things to get them to regroup and play, but the only thing that worked was to disable the arc’s wifi.  As I’ve read, this is not the optimal way to connect surrounds.  So why would enabling the wifi on the arc cause the surround and One’s to ungroup and stop working?

I have updated the Sonos app on my Samsung phone to version 15.1 and, despite spending > 6 hours trying to fix it,  my Sonos system is now un-usable. My Play:1’s won't connect to my Beam and won't reconnect to the Sonos app unless I reset them and create a new account without my Beam.I have tried using wifi and ethernet cables (at different times) but nothing helps. I have also used the PC version of the Sonos app but got error 1101 when the update failed.The Sonos app says my Sonos system must be updated but also says the app must be updated first. But my app is already the latest version (15.1). So I can't update my app (already the latest version) or system, and my system won't work properly without being updated. Many functions are greyed out in the app and, as already mentioned, I can't add back my Play:1 speakers which I reset to try to fix the problem (without success). I have a wireless Beam (Gen 1) + Sub (Gen 2) system that has worked flawlessly since I set up in November 2019. I added a Roam in December last year. A few days ago the Sub showed to be disconnected from the Beam. When I try to reconnect it is unable to find the sub. Resetting the router did not help. After a factory reset on the Sub I could add, but it comes up unassigned. When I try to add it to the Beam it freezes up on the very last step (Adding Sub. This may take a minute…). It now shows up in the System as Sub (unused), Sub – Reconnecting.

What is the preferred position for a pair of Sonos Five’s as rear surrounds? Vertical or horizontal? 

I am a new owner of Beam gen2. I have connected the Beam to my Samsung the Frame and apple tv 4k. When I look at Netflix and a film supporting Atmos, I can see in the Sonos app that I have Dolby Atmos. But when I look at a film with DD 5.1 I can see in the Sonos app stereo pcm 2.0. What is wrong with my settings? 

Why do I have to search for my BEAM every damn day???

Hi y’all.  I have a new Ray. During setup, I connected my TV’s remote control to Ray to control the volume. Fine and dandy. Later, I connected Google Home Assistant so that I could use voice control functionality. That seems to work fine. But, now, the physical remote seems to have lost control of volume. Does anyone know if there’s a tweak in settings that needs to be made? Or maybe a conflict between Assistant and physical remote that doesn’t allow use of both? Thanks for your insights! 

I have a beam gen 2 and the one sl in home theater setting. So when i have watched tv and turned the tv off, i want to start music by pressing the play button on one of the home theater sonos devices.It will not work, because it will flash the orange light ‘No playlist available’ or something like that.Is there a way to fix this?

HT/living room: beam + sub mini + one x 2Kitchen: one x 2Group both rooms so both will hear the TV but my understanding is that there will be a delay in the kitchen.   My living room and kitchen are quite close to each other so I’m sure I will be hearing the echoing.  Question is can I turn the living room’s volume to zero to avoid the echoing while I am in the kitchen?  I can see the tv from the kitchen but am far away that I won’t notice any video/audio syncing issues.. Thanks

Hello everyone, I am trying to figure out how to set up my speakers with a receiver. I’m confused as to whether I need the Sonos Port or Sonos Amp. I have a projector + screen set up in my basement.I have purchased a receiver, the Onkyo TX-NR696. I have an extra pair of Sonos One speakers and would like to use those along the back, and purchase the Arc or Beam for the front and possibly another pair of One’s in the front, as well as the Sub. First, is this set up possible? I would prefer to avoid any drywall work or cutting to make this sound setup as work free as possible. How do I connect two pairs of speakers like that plus the sound bar and sub to the receiver? Any discussion is greatly appreciated. Thank you,

I have an Arc and two One SL's.  They were successfully setup with the OneSLs as LS and RS surround speakers. The RS One SL got disconnected and I cannot get it set up as the RS surround speaker again.I have rebooted it several times and it comes back online it is in the room as a separate system and when I try to add it as the right side speaker the app cannot find it.Super frustrating.  I have an eero mesh system set up as a bridge so I am hoping that at least is correct.I am about ready to delete the entire system from the app, delete the app, and start from scratch by rebooting all three devices and building the system again.  I don’t care about losing the settings as we use the system exclusively with our LG C1 and i’m tired of trying everything I can try on this.  I just don’t want to go through the whole set up again only to lose the speaker again.Has anybody out there experienced this and found a solution? 

Hello,I just configured a pair of OneSL as surround of my playbar. They have been correctly paired with no issue. Then, I tested with some music from the application Sonos, I can hear it on the playbar, but not at all on both OneSL. I configured the surround mode as “complete” in the parameters, but nothing changed. I looked for this issue on the net and on the community, but found nothing, can you help me please? When I play some music from the application, should the speakers ungroup from the TV group? And if I watch something on my TV, they will regroup automatically with the playbar, right? Thank you in advance,Florent
