Dear Sonos Users,

 

I intend to rotate the ERA300s (in diagram) to aim the inside speakers / rear channels towards my ears while its wall mounted above my head. This should also bring the reflection of the height channels closer to the listening position. Though I suspect weaker surround.


Is this placement even possible as I saw the note in the guide saying that audio will stop if the speaker is at a steep angle; I am just not too sure which angle and what axis will cause this. Would love to hear your thoughts.

FYI: This is front view, the top of the picture is the ceiling, sides are the walls, and the bottom is the floor.
