I was planning on replacing these one SL surrounds with Era 300s. There are 2 ceiling fans directly above each speaker though. Ceiling height is 8 ft. Another option could be to wall mount them upside down along the back wall. Any thoughts would be welcome. Current system is Arc, sub gen 3 and SL surrounds.

The Leslie speaker uses moving deflectors to create effects. Your fans will not replace a Leslie, but they will modify the sound -- especially when rotating.

Thank you for the feedback. Would mounting the era 300s upside down along the back wall be a better option?
