Hello all!I need some advice please.What do you think is the most convenient way to install the Era 300 for my situation? I have both Era 300 on a stand.I hesitate to place the Era 300 at #1 or #2. I like to listen to music during the day, especially when I'm at work. I work from the dining table. In the evening I like to watch a serie or movie.For listing to music #1 is possible since I turn the Era 300 towards the dining table while working and turn it back towards the couch in the evening. However, I don't think the sound in the room really sounds full and that music from position #2 sounds better.But does the Era 300 still provide sufficient surround support from position 2? Does it matter that the distance of the Era in the top corner is a lot shorter to the sofa then the other Era 300 when

I had a new router installed today and whilst my Roam, Beam (and 2 x One’s) have all connected automatically, my Playbase has not and I cannot get it to be recognised in the App to try and connect it.i’ve gone through the reconnection steps in the App (power off Playbase and Router and switch on again), I’m still unable to connect the Playbase? Please help! 

Hi, I am planning to buy a SONOS Arc and a LG G3. Would I be able to control the soundbar’s volume by the G3’s remote controller? Thanks ^^

Just bought a new Sonos beam gen 2 today, my first soundbar. Unfortunately Trying to connect via WiFi on the dreaded Vodafone router has been a pain as I've discovered others with the same problem.Would connecting via ethernet cable solve my problems?I have no intention of adding more speakers etc, the beam will be enough for me.  

Hello,A few days ago I bought a Beam Gen2 bar, installed it and it's working ok. I've been reading about the product, and I found an image of the internal components and noticed that it has two side speakers, two central ones that are one on each side of the SONOS logo, and right behind the logo a tweeter. I put my ear close to the position of each speaker, and noticed that the center speaker just to the right of the SONOS logo is muffled and sounds completely different from the speaker on the left. This is normal? Or is it a problem with the product? It seems that these center speakers are reproducing different frequency ranges. Has anyone had this same question?  

My Setup: Sonos Arc, Sub Gen.3, 2x Era 300 as rear surrounds; Media Player: Nvidia Shield Pro 2019 (playback through Plex)I recently added the 2 Era 300 as rear surrounds and when I now play a Dolby Atmos TrueHD file the height channels don‘t work anymore (when I turn off the surrounds in the sonos app the height channel from the sonos arc is suddenly working again, so I can be sure that the problem is coming from the era 300s). Hi, can someone tell me how to add a SONOs Sub Gen 3 to an existing SONOS Arc? I learned that I may have to use the SONOs App. How can I do this? If I want to also add the SONOs surround in the future, do I follow the same procedure? Thanks.

Hi everyone,Just updated to IOS 17 on Apple TV.The Apple TV remote indicates on TV screen that volume is going up and down but this doesn't correlate to the actual sound going up and down.When I switch from the Playbar sound output to the TV output, volume works as expected.I conclude it must be an issue between Sonos and Apple TV IOS 17. TV remote works as expected with IOS 17 and sonos. It's basically the Apple TV remote on IOS 17 and connection with sonos that appears to be the issue.Any advice team?Thanks  

There seem to be some related topics, but most are quite old.. We replaced our 5.1 system with a Sonos Arc last year.  We have decent surround speakers and a wired subwoofer that we’re no longer using. Would it be possible to add a Amp to the speaker group with the Arc to power a pair of wired rears and a (wired) subwoofer?  I’d also like to be able to take advantage of the Amp’s bluetooth / line-in to expand the capabilities of this speaker group.  I think I read that if an Amp is paired with an Arc (or other soundbar) that the subwoofer and inputs get disabled. :-\

Is it normal for the WiFi symbol not to show for the Sub mini in the Sonos app?  

Have Vizio tv set to bitstream.  Have playbar, 2 surrounds and sub all combined.  After just connecting coax for antenna now some channels audio stutters through playbar like a robot so you can not hear.  Some channels are fine and does same streaming through roku stick.  PCM does not have an issue.  If I turn off tv and back on or unplug tv and playbar will then work until I turn channels or input. It is random.  Have not had a problem having everything for @7 years.  Checked for updates says up to date.thanks

Building new home and wanted to use Sonos.  Can they supply ceiling surround system w/ out soundbar.  We did not want to have exposed speakers.  Have you seen a soundbar being hidden behind a wall.  I have 12’ ceilings in family room and size is 21’x21’.  I thought I could put sub in cabinet with metal mesh.  What are my best options?

Resetting up my Sonos Arc and wondering if the included Arc cable is in wall rated. Also, would I be able to be use a Rocketfish 4K in-wall instead?

I've tried everything so maybe somebody can confirm that what I'm doing isn't possible. (I find it hard to believe that such an expensive system wouldn't give a user more options)I've been completely disappointed with my Playbar plus 2 play threes. My $150 Yamaha sound bar had better ability to select/create separation effects for different stuff that I'm watching. For instance, I like to watch sports. With my old sound bar I could press a button and it gives the stadium affect. Love it! Also could select different simulations in stereo separation. I'm not looking for super quality 5.1 separations, I'm just looking to see if I can simulate different things and left/right delays when I'm watching.i've tried every setting I know but can't seem to create that stadium affect. It's just a super dull experience.Yes I've changed distances etc.i'm hoping for a Sonos professional to just tell me if I'm missing something or will just continue to be disappointed.

Only while watching TV (Roku player plugged into an LG, Beam connected via HDMI cable) my Sonos Beam sound will drop entirely out and go to low volume. When I turn it “back up” it is crackling and fuzzy, then will suddenly and unexpectedly pop back in but, because I turned it up, it is blasting me with high volume. This only happens during TV watching, never during any music playing.

Hi, Please help me solve this annoying, and perplexing issue.I have:TCL QM8 (85”) TVApple TV 4K WiFI (latest TvOs)Sonos home theater:Arc, Sub, Era 300 (2)Arc is connected to TV via eArcThe TV remote AND Apple TV remote can control volume and muting/unmuting just fine.If I leave everything alone for ~ 5min Sonos becomes muted with devices showing the green LEDAt this point the ONLY way to unmute is to physically unmute a Sonos device by touching it, OR unmutng in the Sonons App, or enabling Sonos Voice and saying “Hey Sonos, unmute”.  I don’t want Sonos voice enabled. My questions:What is “auto muting Sonos” ?Once this auto mute happens why are the TV and Apple TV no longer able to mute, unmute, control the volume?BTW As soon as Sonos is unmuted the TV and Apple TV remotes are able to control  volumne and mutung just fine once again.All devices are on latest firmware / OS.

Looking for some advice - I have a large open living room with very high ceilings.  Audio from my TV speakers is to muffled and needed ideas on a better surround sound system for this room.  Mostly to just hear clear audio no matter where you sit.  Wanted to also put in some ceiling speakers in the next couple of rooms that i can sync up to play music on all the speakers. I was thinking of doing two in-wall speakers on both sides of the Tv, subwoofer, and then maybe two other speakers on the back of the room?Appreciate any ideas you all have.  Thanks!

I had a beam setup to a Sony tv and it was working buy suddenly its stopped.Everytime I set tv to use surround sound system it changed back to tv saying communication issue to audio system. What would have changed?

I cannot control volume or mute on Sonos system with Apple TV or Sony TV remote.  Connection to Playbar is optical out from TVNeed to know optimal TV sound settings.TV is Sony Bravia XR-50X90J

Hello everyone👋 As i really enjoy my Playbase i start thinking of getting another one and add it to the same Panasonic-tv. I will use a Toslink/spidif-splitter for connection. Have someone done this in the past and what was the outcome?Is it so i might be able to hook up dual sub for each Playbase? Then my next question will be: Do i add surrounds to the secound Playbase and witch one. My choice is the Ikea Symfonisk frame-speaker cause of limited space.Is this something i should STOP thinking bout,or….The other reason for adding another Playbase…..my TV-furniture is kinda low and by adding a secound Playbase i will get the TV up a bit.

Hello I have the set up below and would like to drop a projector screen down in front of the TV. Is there any way for the projector and the tv to share the beam input?  been recommended the HDFury Vroom, but it’s £500!  

Is it me or does the arc sound hollow/metallic? Some sounds like waterfall or rain sounds hollow. 

Hello Sonos Family,I am having HDMI Issues, my Sonos Beam2 stops working at times, come to find out the back of my TV HDMI port was loose, Samsung came out, replaced the HDMI port, plugged my soundar back in, it worked great for a couple of days, then the issue started happening again, the HDMI cable seems to be a little loose back there, when i wiggle it, sound comes in and out from soundbar. Do i need to invest in a better HDMI Cable, like a MONSTER, i have a rocketfish plugged in now.It seems like my HDMI Cable needs a tighter fit, or do I just have a TV that has a crappy input port ?My TV is a Samsung Q80B QLED 4k 55”   Any reccomendations ? Thank you,Mikey

So, I have been testing streaming from my PS5 (Plex, Prime, YouTube, Spotify) and it looks like everything I stream from the PS5 through the soundbar it's giving me Dolby Atmos (that's what the app is showing).  Not sure who is making the trick because for YouTube I was surprise, I wasn't expecting getting the Dolby Atmos message in the Sonos App.  I tested the same video from Amazon Prime with the PS5 I get Dolby Atmos even tho the movie doesn't have it!! With the NVIDIA Shield I get sorround 5.1 as expected. So, who is making the tick here, the PS5 or the Sonos App is having some kind of bug? But I can notice the sound difference so not sure what the hell is the PS5 doing to convert everything to Dolby Atmos.
