When watching tv I use a group of speakers. I don’t want Era 100s to be surround, I want them to play full audio. The next day when I turn on TV, only the Arc plays and I have to find my phone which is usually upstairs on charger to add other speakers (group). Is there a way to make system resume playing the same group without having to re-group them daily? 

My TV and Sonos play bar have been working fine for well over 12 months. Then last night, my TV turned itself off and every time I turned it back on by the remote. It turned itself off again after unplugging both sound bar and TV from the wall and waiting a short while plugging them back in and I’ve even reset the play bar. Both work fine independently but the play bar will not play. What’s on TV today I have bought a new optical audio cable and I’ve plugged that in and it is no better  I have the television speakers turned off and have tried to reset the remote with the sound bar which I’ve done and again seems to work fine but the sound bar still does not play what’s on the TV. Can anybody help please

I've been experiencing an issue with my Sonos Arc where the Alexa voice assistant keeps turning off. Despite multiple attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling, the problem persists. Additionally, there are instances where the Arc spontaneously turns off and on throughout the evening. When this happens, I'm unable to turn it back on through the app and must resort to using the controls on the Arc itself. Notably, I previously had a Beam set up in the same manner, and it worked flawlessly. I'm wondering what might be causing this problem or if there's a potential issue with the Arc itself?

I’m considering buying a Sonos Arc but before I do I want to make sure it will work for the intended purpose. Is it possible for me to set up a Sonos Arc, 2 Sonos One and Sonos Bass as surround sound on my TV and also use the same 2 Sonos Ones as a stereo pair when I’m playing music or does one negate the other? Thanks. 

 Have a whole bunch of Sonos stuff, everything has been working fine but now something has happened. Can't get SUB & Play:1 to work with playbar.If I make a stereo pair of Play:1 it works perfectly with or without sub, if I connect sub to any other speakers it works fine but if I try to connect them to playbar it doesn't work. Have reset and reinstalled tons of times. It refuses to work however the Playbar as it is also works without problems.(Before, I use a network cable but after I talked to sonos support, now all speakers are on WIFI)Searched the Sonos forum found others with the same problem but nowhere have I found how to solve it, does anyone here have any good tips before all the hair is gone :-) 

I have an Arc connected to an older Vizio TV. The sound will drop out for 5 to 60 seconds and then come back. I used the HDMI  cable that came with the Arc. I tried rebooting the TV and resetting the soundbar. How do I tell if it’s the TV or the Arc?

I/ve been running into issues setting up my new Sub (gen 3) and Arc that I got this week. I was able to set up the Arc without any problems, but when I try to bond the sub to the arc I get an error message (unable to connect). This happens after I set up the sub, connect it to the wifi, and then try to associate the sub to the arc. I’ve tried resetting multiple times (requires a factory reset) and it just will not work. During the bonding process the sub status light goes from bright blinking white to solid dim white. The name of the arc after has a (+ ?) after it, and I can remove the sub. But can’t try re-adding it until I do another factory reset.I’m using eero pro 6. I’ve turned off client steering and also forced the network to be 2.4GHz temporarily and none of this helps.I just created a diagnostic report 765914184.I tried contacting Sonos support but they apparently don’t offer weekend support (for a $1500 product is quite surprising) and don’t appear to offer email support eith

Went away for a holiday for 10 days. Came back and everything seemingly was OK - Arc, Sub, and left One SL - except the right One SL, which has disconnected and I can't reconnect. App is useless "Make sure it's powered on'" (yep) "and connected to WiFi" (well it was when I went on holidays, now I don't get an option to reconnect it).The networking configuration with Sonos is nothing short of horrible.Is this a complete reboot and reconnect everything (yet again) situation?

Is there a way to caonnect headphones to an Arc?

For my family room I have Beam + Sub tied via eARC to my OLED TV. Nearby is a Sonos One in the kitchen and a Sonos Five that I often “group” via the app so I can hear the TV in these other areas. Trouble is when we mute or change volume using the TV remote, the other devices remain independent and don’t change with Beam + Sub. Is there a way to get all these to be controlled by the TV remote? This is mainly for convenience, not having to open the app and manually adjust the grouped speaks.  I’m not interested in surround-sound bonding, just main audio from TV being controlled by TV remote. 

My Panasonic 65” TV is connected to a Sonos soundbar plus subwoofer and play one surround sound speakers. the Panasonic TV remote has suddenly stopped controlling the volume on the speakers (it controls TV channels perfectly so it’s not a fault with the TV remote). The Sonos app controls the speaker volume perfectly so it’s not a problem with the speakers.  it’s a problem with the Sonos software. I have rebooted the TV a couple of times, but hasn’t made any difference.  what should I try next ?

I am thinking of getting myself a Sonos Arc along with Sub G3 and an Amp. For surround sound, I already have speaker cables running in my wall and I am thinking of getting a pair of Dali Oberon on wall speakers (passive). I have the following questions:Would it be possible for me to connect these speakers to the Amp? The specs for the speakers mention that they have a 6 Ohms impedance and recommended amplifier power is 25-100 Watts. Considering that the Amp outputs 125 Watts per channel at 8 Ohms, would it be ok to connect the speakers to the Amp? Given that the passive speakers can be connected to the Amp (or in case they cannot another pair of passive speakers can do the job), I want to have the following scenarios for listening: When watching TV, or streaming music from network or other app, I want to have a 7.1.4 system, i.e. the Arc, Sub and the two passive speakers as surrounds. Just got my Ray, and hooked it up to a fairly modern Samsung TV via optical connection (Model Number : UN50J6200AFXZA ). However, I cannot configure the Samsung RF remote to use the volume buttons to control the Ray. I followed the guidance via the mobile app to add the Ray as a Home Theater device etc.The guidance says to “go back to the Universal Remote setup menu and select one of the other input devices you’ve added, like a cable box or Blu-ray player. Select the other input devices and choose Use with Home Theater. Do this for all of your active inputs.”Are there any Samsung owners out here with the same issue

My Sonos Beam is connected to my Sony Bravia TV Via the HDMI arc and I connected my  Sony Blu Ray player via HDMI1 on my TV but the audio only plays the TV Speaker and not from Beam. 

I have 2 SL1 speakers and a beam. Trying to get the best surround sound. Should they all be on the same volume or should I just have the left and right speakers on with the beam low? The beam is under the TV and in front of us. Thanks 

I’ve got a Beam Gen 2.  I’m watching Star Trek TNG on Paramount+ on Roku and I’m noticing what appears to be the oddest behavior.  It’s so odd part of me wonders if it’s in my head.  Anytime a new scene occurs that begins with dialog, the dialog is so quiet at first but then increases to a proper volume a few seconds later.  It’s especially noticeable when the previous scene ends with some kind of loud noise.  Has anyone else noticed this?  Or am I just crazy?  Or maybe both?

Hi All,I want to buy Sonos sub Gen 3 and want to use it with Onkyo NR6100.Am not sure if they can be used together. Does anybody know ? -Avinash 

I am read a few contradictory answers to this so just wanted to double check here.  I have just bought a set of Era 300s to replace the Ones that I was using as surrounds with my Arc and Sub. They are connected to WiFi and everything is working so far.  I have read that connecting then via Ethernet will improve performance so was thinking about whether it would be worth it.  And here’s where is gets confusing! I understand that the Era’s don’t have SonosNet but I’ve read that they still connect to the Arc via a private WiFi connection directly with the Arc in the same way that previous surrounds did. Is that true? Or do they now just go via the home WiFi network? I could understand that Ethernet might be better in the second scenario but if it connects directly to the Arc via WiFi then there would be no point in Ethernet.  So, if I use the Ethernet adapter on the surrounds will the WiFi on the Eras be deactivated and communication with the Arc be done via Ethernet. I need a definitive answer please.I have a Samsung TV that has a Roku stick connected to one of the HDMI ports.  I use the Roku remotes (IR remote) to control volume on the TV now.I would like to connect a Sonos Ray soundbar to this TV via an optical connection.Can the Roku IR remote still control the volume of the Ray soundbar.  I don’t want to have to use 2 remotes.Thanks

So I have 2 Sonos SLs + Sub + Arc connected to my Samsung Frame TV but only the ARC works with the TV...but all works together when playing music.  I have them grouped to a designated room.  Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong please?

I have my beam gen 2 connected to my Samsung TV TU 7000 via EArc. Audio on tv is set to pass through.i am using the beam with 2x play onesIn the Sonos app it says the audio is Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1i have tried Prime Video and Netflix, still no ATMOS.
