I have an Arc. Can I buy a mini sub with an Arc?

I Currently have a projector that connects to an Xbox X and PS5. All the electronics are behind the projector about 15 feet away from the screen. Getting a HDMI from the PS5 all the way around the walls to plug into a soundbar isn’t really an option. I’m looking at the Arc bar, two surrounds and a sub. What would the easiest way to connect all this up with running a 50 foot hdmi cable to the soundbar?

I have a tv with an Arc and two sets of non-Sonos speakers (4 speakers total in addition to arc). I also have a Sonos amp and have connected both sets of external speakers to that amp. I want to use all the speakers in surround with Tv: 1 set of external speakers in front of room and 1 set in the back. However, the app seems to only recognize 1 set of the external speakers as surrounds with my TV/Arc (front of room pair).Is there a way to link the second set of speakers (which are in the back of the room)? All external speakers are hardwired to the Sonos amp. The tv/arc are connected via hdmi cable to each other. The amp and TV/Arc are not connected by any wires.

HiI love my playbar and it has been great. Contemplating to upgrade to Arc, doing some online research and can see few people commenting the sound of Playbar is better than Arc and Arc sounds "hollow". My use will be for streaming movies in living room mainly, atmos content will be from Disney, Prime. I will be adding a Sub in near future. Thanks for any advice. 

Do you know if Sonos ray has bluetooth incorporated ?

Hi I just bought a Gen 3 sub and sonos arc. Am liking the sound after tuning it yesterday. Curious. I have two in wall surrounds. If I were to get a connect amp gen 1, will this integrate with the sound bar / sub? I hear Connect Amp Gen 1 works on S1 app...I don’t mind that...if it means when playing sounds through my TV the sound bar, surronds and sub work together.  Thanks.

I can’t do the trueplay of my system. It keep coming out this trueplay problem page. Let me know what should I do. I have Arc+(2)Era 100 and (1)sub.   

Hello,Bought a new Samsung CU8000 TV and connected Beam Gen 2 via eArc. My system also has two Ones as surrounds. With the TV set to pass through I get all the Dolby outputs. This works well for maybe 2 or 3 hours and then the sounds distorts slightly, it's like it cuts in and out quickly. If TV audio set to Auto sound is perfect but output is always PCM. Anyone had this and worked out a solution? Should I be concerned using PCM in terms of the quality of audio? Is this as good or worse than Dolby outputs?

I can’t install the sub mini. The app says he can’t find it. I tried to reconnect power, pushed the button, light is white, blinking or red, blinking. Nothing works. What am I doing wrong?

I am considering purchasing Sonos speakers and considering a variety of approaches. The room is about 12 X 20 X 9. Our sitting area is about 8-10 feet from the TV. The TV is a 3 year old 55” Samsung, it has ARC HDMI output but not eARC. We have a new Xfinity cable box and good Internet connection.The TV is currently mounted above an enclosed gas fireplace, which has an 8” shelf on the top of it. The TV is mounted to the wall above the fireplace shelf on a swivel arm connected to the wall which lets me move it out to be flush with the outer edge of the fireplace shelf or all the way back to the wall taking up ~2” of the shelf.The swivel does not let me raise or lower the TV at this point.I like the idea of a Sonos Arc (and optionally 2 sonos one’s for rear speakers), but not sure if this will fit our setup.I see two choices were we to get a Sonos Arc: 1) raise the height of the TV so that the Arc can be on the shelf above the fireplace - either by adjusting the TV swivel arm (i.e. re-at

I set up my new Sonos Beam (but I am going to switch it to a Sonos Arc) to my LG Smart TV.  I couldn’t figure out how to connect the Beam to the receiver so just connected to TV.  Problem 1:  I only get the Beam to produce sound from streaming TV.  I tried various configurations to get my Direct TV stations to have sound thru the Beam with no luck.  Problem 2:  My TV is only a year or 2 old.  It only has the Arc Hdmi port and 2 more HDMI ports, and 2 usb ports.  I believe I have to use the Yamaha Receiver to connect my DVD player, Blue Ray Player, CD Player to my tv. Just purchased a Sonos Arc, I am going to slowly switch all my audio to Sonos.Current setup in my theater room is a projector (Panasonic PT-AE8000), and the receiver (Yamaha RX-V677). I have a PS5, Roku, NES Switch, and obviously the projector running through this receiver.I have been reading and looking up info online for the past few days and cant get a solid answer on a solid setup to get the Dolby Atmos sound I want with the Sonos.Will a HD Fury resolve my issues and I can keep the old equipment? If so where do I place that unit at? Or can I get a receiver that has dual HDMI outputs, one for the projector and one for the Sonos Arc? Thank you all for your time.

Hey all -  I FINALLY got ATMOS working correctly with my new Sonos-based home theater setup using an Xbox Series X and a newly purchased Samsung QN90A series television (85”). It took me days to get it synced right and get rid of an audio delay in the whole setup, especially with dialog. Here’s how to pull it off. The important part is that you have to configure things to let the ATMOS/surround sound signal go straight to the ARC for decoding instead of the TV trying to help along the way (causing audio delays and other issues). Home Theater Setup: Xbox Series X → QN90A TV via HDMI 4 (the only HDMI 2.1 port on the TV)HDMI 3 → Sonos ARC (the only port on the TV that supports eARC)(Not that I’m using two PLAY:1’s as surrounds and a SUB as well) Samsung QN90A settings:eARC set to auto Audio set to Pass-through IMPORTANT (NOT auto or PCM) ATMOS turned onXbox Series X settings:ATMOS for home theater (HDMI) IMPORTANT: in other audio settings, MAKE SURE PASS-THROUGH IS TURNED ON. Our home theatre group is comprised of an ARC SL with ARC  connection to an LG OLED, a Sub Gen 3, and two Play 1s as surrounds.  Other groups elsewhere in the house are comprised of several One SLs and one first gen Symfonisk. There is a Boost wired to the Verizon Fios router. The problem is, if the HT group is not playing while other groups are, turning on the HT stops playback in the other groups on network. It’s annoying…Any way to fix this?

Just a (maybe dumb) question regarding ATMOS, 5 and 7.1.   So if I’m watching a source that isn’t available or playing in Atmos, like (Dolby pure HD, or DTS), will the ARC and 300’s still play the upward firing drivers?

Sorry if dumb question.I have: TV (w/HDMI ARC), Xbox, non-SONOS passive speakers.Can I buy a Sonos AMP, connect it to TV HDMI ARC, connect Xbox to TV HDMI (different input), connect speakers to Sonos Amp, and still get sound out from the Xbox to the passive (non TV) speakers? My setup includes:Sonos Beam gen2 BenQ TH534Playstation 4Laptop connected to Benq via HDMI to watch movies. Hello community.I am totally new person in the community. My wife bought me a fast Christmas Gift:) I would like to know how to correctly connect my components to generate sound from my Sonos Beam gen2.  At this point, I just want to connect and receive sound from my new soundbar. Later I will buy additional speakers. Please let me know if there’s a workaround that I have missed so far. I have a Sononos Playbar. I am thinking of getting Mini Sub. Is it compatable with playbar or I have only one option of getting Sub Gen3?

Hello All,i bought a new tv (hisense 58 a7gq, see specs below), a beam gen 2 , 2 era 100 and a sub mini.the problem is the sound when I use the Apple TV 4K : it’s really bad.the same movie played with the TV gives a beautiful sound (but a quite less Sharp image though)is there a way to fix this issue ?  Does it have something to do with the settings ? Hello,As already mentioned in these topics:I would like to know if it is planned to allow the Beam to be used as a center speaker. I know that it plays three channels, but a configuration switch to play only the center channel would be great.The goal is to use some other speakers for the left and right channels. Why ? Because I already have some nice speakers and I would like to combine them with the Beam.If such a configuration is possible, I will buy a Sonos Amp to connect my speakers as left and right channels. Let me emphasize that my potential purchase of an Amp is determined by the availability of this functionality.This kind of configuration (Beam + Amp) is already available for surround speakers. Making it available for side speakers would be tremendous!

Will 1 roam and 1 era 100 connected to my ray create a surround sound?

Hello, I have the S1 controller to operate my older Sonos setup (playbar, 2 x play 1 as surrounds) with a Bridge and Connect (for my vinyl record player).  I want to add the new Gen 3 Subwoofer however when I try and upgrade to the S2 app, it says that the sub will not work with the connect/bridge I have.  Is there a workaround or is this not going to affect my system at all.  I have an ecobee and use Alexa to play throughout the house and want to make sure I’m not wasting 1000.00 on a sub that won’t work well Thanks and happy listening!!
