Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Every time I go to use TV swap with my Sonos Ace headphones I have to do reboot my Sonos soundbar to get it to work.A couple days later I will go to watch a film and can’t connect again. There is an 8 step tutorial that I found on here that I know from heart that goes something like thisUnplug soundbar Turn of Ace Turn off Bluetooth  Close Sonos app Plug soundbar back in After sounbar has booted, open app Turn Bluetooth back on Turn on AceIt works every time but a couple of days later you’re doing the whole thing again, I never power off any of my soundbars and they can’t all be broken (I have 4 around the house)It just makes me think my whole system was a waste of money. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or has anyone heard of a more reliable system on the market where you can also connect headphones with Dolby Atmos please let me know Thanks

After using Sonos music system, when I turn on our TV in our great room, the TV sound is broadcast to 7 other rooms in our house.  How do I effectively prevent TV sound in each of the other rooms? 

I would be awsome if sonos made software so you could add all the speakers you wanted in one big sones home theater 

Keeps loosing connection , anybody with any ideas ?

I purchased a FLAC encoded music album. Unfortunately, the sample rate is 96k. I’ve resampled the music to 44.1k using VLC media player.What I’m finding is that each of the resampled songs (files) play on my SONOS system. But the files are not linked together as an album. Also, the album artwork is not associated with the music files.Any suggestions as to what I did wrong and/or what I should do?Thx,Marty

Hi,I’ve a Sonos Arc which has had the touch controls disabled until recently, and now I’ve discovered it is from a faulty batch that had an issue with the touch controls constantly enabling and disabling the mic. Raising the RMA was painless enough, however the Advanced Shipment option has an issue accepting credit card details to place a hold on my card until the faulty unit is returned.I don’t want to use the Standard Shipment option for a few reasons:1: I’ve a workaround in that I can disable the touch controls and the Arc behaves as expected2: I’ll be able to use the box the replacement Arc arrives in to safely return the faulty unit3: Shipping from the UK to Poland will leave me without a system for a week or two if I use StandardI called the 0800 026 1526 support number and the agent was very understanding, and explained there has been an issue with the advanced shipment section of ‘support.sonos.com’ accepting card deta

Guys I’m not sure what’s wrong with my system or when it happened.The first movie experience (Dune) was amazing, best atmos I’ve experienced at home and I didn’t want to push volume above 25% because I have neighbors and it was impressive already. That was around November last year.in the meanwhile I added a 2nd Sub 4 that is a great addition. However the system feels nerfed since a while: Volume needs to go to 40% in the Sonos App and it feels less impressive than before. Did quite a lot TruePlay advance runs but not much success.I’m using AppleTV 4K, HdFury Arcana (but from the start)Any software / hardware or firmware upgrade that could cause this? Sonos volume % should give roughly the same power output to everyone or?one thing to mention: the volume control via Apple TV remote usually doesn’t work, does this include source volume?

My current music library is stored on a WD My Passport and requires to be connected to my computer all the time for me to access my music on my SONOS speakers which is a real pain.  Is it worth investing in a home networked device (NAS drive) if so does anyone have any suggestions of what to look for.  My computer uses windows 11.

I have recently converted my music folder from MP4 to M3 and it is stored on my PC Windows 10.Thispc/music/MP3 On setting the new pathway it has solved most problems but a lot of the tracks on Sonos playlists still show as MP4 (even though there is only one pathway to the MP3 folder)  Some tracks on the playlists  play some do not.Have I missed something? Deleting and updating the playlists works but would take forever 

I have a Sonos Play:5 speaker, which I can’t currently get to work. I have a (white) Sonos boost, and a (white) Sonos bridge. Should I be getting this combo to work?Thanks

My Sonos move is no longer showing on my system tried unplugging and re plugging etc and nothing.

Having 3 gen 1 play 5s and a bridge and then some newer Sonos speakers like Soundbar, play ones, Roam, and beam - and having just moved - I’ll use at least 2 of the play 5s and the sound bar in a separate part of the new house and then the other newer ones in a different part of the house for surround sound mostly.  I believe the older play 5s require the older version of the Sonos app. Am I able to have both versions of the Sonos app on my iPhone with the older version controlling the play 5s and soundbar and the newer version controlling everything thing else? any suggestions on how to do the setups would be greatly appreciated.  

Would this setup work as a backdoor way to group Ace headphones with other speakers (or at least play them simultaneously)? If so, how exactly would I set it up?Here's my thought:- I already have a TV room with Beam, Sub-mini and two Ones as surrounds. Leave that room as it is.- Set up a new room with the Beam only, and another room with the two Ones and the Sub-mini only.- play music and select the two rooms. Then do TV swap, which would silence the Beam and play on Ace instead.Would the Ones continue to play the music aloud while the Beam music is transmitted to the Ace? If so, this would be great to allow me to leave the room and continue listening to the same music.If this would work, how do I do it? Can I have two rooms with the same components?

Would be helpful to me to have sound from a Sonos Ace and continue to have sound from a Sonos Beam at the same time. I think it cannot be done, I’m I right? TIA for any replies.

Not a major issue but I’m sure you used to be able to thumbs up and down tracks while listening to a playlist from Amazon music.Tapping thumbs down would skip the track and gave a message saying something along the lines of “we won’t play this track again”.Tapping thumbs up would give a message saying something like “we will play more like this”In the app currently, tapping thumbs up or down simply skips the current track?Is this on a list somewhere of issues to be fixed? ThanksGeoff

I know I can’t do the stereo with two devices, but hoping I can do two mono outputs from one iphone using bluetooth 

So I upgraded my setup from two 100’s to the full set of arc ultra, two 300’s and a sub gen 4. tv audio is amazing. Huge booms and the arc is astonishing compared to what we had before. however when playing vinyl (connected with cable  to the 100), the audio just feels flat. Adjusting the eq or level of bass on sub feels like it barely makes a difference. Have moved the sub around as well but it doesn’t change a lot. I had the 100’s with record player before, but the sound just seams to expand to the whole room when I select the surround system as well as the 100’s, rather than giving me more bass, more surround and a deeper level of the music. is it because I have the surround set connected wirelessly to the 100’s that are set up for the record player? Or also I have a small pre amp that’s pretty basic, just to get the job done. Is that something that’s causing this?

Hello, I am attempting to set-up my new Sonos system (Arc Ultra center speaker, 300s left and right rear, and subwoofer 4) and believe I may need to purchase an eArc adapter based on what I am reading (Epson LS800 does not support eArc on its own). Here is the set-up I am attempting to achieve (happy to hear feedback if this does not seem ideal):  Use the projector (Epson LS800) only for visual and no longer use it’s speaker, use X Box Series X for everything (gaming, streaming services, etc.) on projector HDMI 3 dedicated gaming port, use Sonos for all audio. I currently have the Sonos system set-up and loving how it sounds when streaming music to it from my phone, but still working on the set-up mentioned above and a bit confused.  Appreciate any feedback and advice! Here are two prior threads that I believe apply to this and could be helpful

Hello , I recently added two Era 100s to my Beam Gen2 , my question is when i ask to play everywhere on my app to have all three units playing, both my Era100s gives distortion sounds not clear . the beam gen2 is directly connected to audio ARC HDMI and the Eras are on wifi. is there something i am doing wrong , and how can i get pure sure 

Why is the topic of Sonos radio discontinued? This is a problem Sonos must address to its customers. I don’t want it therefore I should be able to remove it from my choices. Unless I’m mistaken it’s the default station on my Sonos. Since I’m unable to remove it can I at least change the default setting? I was a Bose customer for years and just recently replaced my Bose with Sonos. Maybe I should have gone with LG, Vizio or some other brand that let me utilize my setup as I see fit. This really is unacceptable ☹️.

I have the ray connected to my kitchen tv. I am currently doing a remodel in the kitchen and I planned on putting in ceiling speakers in the cooking and prep area. It is possible to connect ray with the amp? That way I can hear more clearly a TV show while doing a cooking/cleaning task

How to turn on mic  

Airplay2 from iTunes (Windows) and Roon does not work on Arc Ultra and Era Speakers. (Other Sonos products is working well.)Playback appears to start, but the seek-bar remains stuck and no sound is produced.(Factory reset of speakers, and restart router did not work)

Short version:Since the latest software drop my Spotify Playlist alarm has stopped working and is replaced by the HATED Sonos Chime.  I have tried deleting and re-creating the alarm, changing the playlist. When managing alarms via the Android App and Windows App (not the Web App) I get odd results. Anyone else experiencing this? Longer version: I have a 20-player Sonos setup that includes a pair of Sonos Play: 1s in the bedroom.  I have had an alarm set in the morning for years that plays a Spotify playlist that has been saved to Sonos Favourites. These players have been problematic since the App debacle with typically a 10-20s delay for them to respond when controlled via the Android app (Open App - Select “Bedroom” - Zone displays with a volume of -1 and “No Content” - wait 10-20s - Zone updates with actual volume and actual content). However up until the last software drop the alarm functio
