Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello, found an interesting thing today. I have an Arc Ultra with Era 300s, and a Sub Mini.I was using TruePlay with my phone and my Surrounds were super loud. Tried multiple different times as well. I know I can reduce the volume but I believe TruePlay is suppose to be set it and forget.Well, since I updated to the iOS 26 beta I was unable to use TruePlay on my phone so I used my daughters phone, downloaded Sonos and re-did TruePlay and it was so much better. The surrounds actually feel like they are at a reasonable level and everything feels much more balanced.Is it normal to have such differences?I have a 15 Pro Max and she has a 15. I love the sound so much better now.

Hello, My Sky remote doesn’t work anymore with my Sonos. My TV remote still works though. Tried setting up in the app but it says ‘’ we didn’t detect a signal from your remote ‘’. My Sky remote works ok with everything else just not my sound?

I have 2 Sonos era 100 connected to my Beam as surrounds and have added 2 more to the front. can I use my tv remote to control all as it only does the beam and surrounds?  thanks 

There has already been requests here in the community for Sonos app Live Activities feature. I’d be happy to have it as well. Having Sonos Ray for TV together with Era 300 (as a stereo pair) means I need to use my phone to control the volume for the both. Live Activities would make the process much easier. Samsung One remote connects to Ray only with IR (when connected to optical cable.) Does anyone here have another solution to control the volume without unlocking my phone?

Hi guys!I’m tryingto finalise installation of my ERA100 into a new system. The step after the PIN identification shows me to push the forward or backward buttons on the top of the speaker while the lamp on the front shines white and green.Unfortunately, when trying to push any of the above buttons nothing happens and the installation can’t be completed.What am I doing wrong?Thanks!

When trying to connect a roam 2 to my home system, ie an ARC with a sub, I encountered this problem: When I try to log in the app continues to repeat the log on request, I tried changing my password but it still requests that i sign on as owner al the time? What gives?

I have set up 3 speakers on my new wifi. Two days later, when I open the app, it says there are 0 devices connected to my network. Since then I have mounted the playbar and hid the cords in the wall, so I cannot remove to reconnect via Ethernet. Why does the Sonos app always have issues connecting to products? What is the best step to get the speakers to reappear in the app?

I have several amps and they’ve all been performing fine for several months.  Today, one of the amps began sounding really “tinny”.  Sounds like a really cheap radio turned way up. I could maybe blame a speaker if it only happened to one but both speakers sound exactly the same.  I checked all the connections and they’re good.  I rebooted.  Any thoughts? Thanks!  

I suppose I’m still beating a dead horse to death here but why is there such a delay using the line in on Move 2? Sometimes there is no audio at all. I’m in youtube watching videos and I just went from one video to another to play a music video and it took 26 seconds for the audio to kick in. In contrast I have an old Libratone speaker set to line in and it works perfectly every time but sure doesn’t sound as sweet as the Move 2. I will say AirPlay works very well everytime which I can use but just wondering why this Sonos SNAFU.

I have had a Sonos speaker for over 6 Months now and its has been nothing but a terrible experience. The app is supper glitchy. The system keeps disappearing from my network, linking services to the app is a nightmare of an experience and getting help form the company is almost impossible. I will never buy another Sonos product, there are way better options out there with way leas issues. I know Sonos has good quality sound, but their user experience is just too terrible for the good sound quality to make up for anything.

In the old app it was possible to toggle on/off trueplay on Android. Will the new app also get this feature. I found it quite useful.

Recently bought a Port to connect a technics turntable.  It's been working great, but when I dont use it for a week. I cannot find the line-in on the Sonos app.I have already had to reboot the Port twice and it's a little tedious to do this each time.  Why is the Line-In dropping off?Any quick way to ping the network and reconnect? 

Hi everyone.  My Sonos Moves will not go FROM Bluetooth TO Wifi.  I’ve pressed the bar between the Power button and the Join button on the back.  It flashes blue for a while then goes back to green.I’ve done a hard reset by holding the power button down for 10 seconds.  It powered up to Wifi briefly then went back to Green.  I pressed the bar on the back again, same thing happened.  Any help appreciated Thanks - Ben

I have a Sonos one ?Can I add ceiling speakers ?if so which ones do I order ?please x  

I have an older CD player.  I can successfully connect it to my soundbar via a converter and an HDMI cable. .  I use the same soundbar for my TV, again with an HDMI connection.  I really REALLY dislike the hassle involved in plugging ang unplugging cables when I want to change for TV to CD player.  I am hoping someone can offer some advice, based on their own experience with this issue. Thank you

With our frame tv recessed into the wall so the front is 1/2' recessed can we install the Ultra Arc closer than 5.5" from the bottom of the tv?

My sonos Moove 2 often appears as not connected or sleeping. I often try restarting it but this happens frequently. This is the only one of my devices that has this problem. Can you help me.

I’m afraid to ask, but I suppose I must.I upgraded my router.  I set up the Wifi settings to be the same. SSID, password, etc.  Amazingly everything is coming back nicely, except for my many, many Sonos speakers.Why can’t they just reconnect?  It seems to want me to go through some kind of setup.  This would be hellish because I have the following: Sonos Arc, subwoofer, two surrounds Sonos Beam, subwoofer, two surrounds. Sonos Ray, two surrounds Sonos Ray, two surrounds 4 Sonos One SLs in other less listened to places.Yes, that’s 17 speakers.  How do I get them to reconnect without a burning hell of resetting everything?Thanks.

HiI have an Lg tv (65NANO86VPA) with a Beam, sub mini and 2x Fives connected.  My Sonos app only ever shows Stereo PCM.  I’m testing with a movie on Amazon Prime.  I have beam connected via eARC. Sound output is set to Dolby digital Should I  be getting better audio output???

If I add an album from the local music library to the queue using the android app (play button, play now, replace queue, etc) on the now playing screen under the song name will be artist name - artist name. It will show this way on all devices now playing screens (andriod, ios, mac os).But if I add an album using any other device or app (not andriod sonos app), the the now playing screen displays correctly under the song name, artist name - album name. It will also show correctly on the andriod app’s now playing screen.I did a support chat which ended with them saying I should call support to report / escalate. Which I did. The support agent seemed to not care or didn’t believe me. Not sure which.I would appreciate if someone could confirm this behavior.Thanks!

Symfonisk picture speaker worked fine with Sky. Just changed to new network You Fibre. It recognises the new network but after entering new password (yes, got that far!) it tells me 'something has gone wrong' and 'try again' and the little light on the speaker goes from green to red. I have tried again many many times.Switched off,switched on etc.Why oh why is this sooo difficult!! It's a bluetooth speaker for goodness sake.All other bits of tech have connected seamlessly(Alexa, tv etc.)I am not techy but not stupid.Please help

Hey all. I’m debating ways to utilize speakers I already own for my record player setup as additional tv speakers. Is that possible? I have a Sonos Arc for the tv, and I was thinking of getting a Sonos Port for the record player, but I’m not sure if that would technically work. Thanks!
