I have a lg Evo G5 with everything set on auto on sound settings and HDMI ARC.

The Sonos App shows Dolby multichannel PCM 5.1 on a Amazon prime.

Should it show Dolby atmos?

Is there a test to make sure I have TV/arc ultra set-up properly?

Atmos content on prime will be marked with the Dolby Atmos badge, most content is in 5.1 or lower. A google/prime search will suggest some atmos titles 👍

You now need the ads free tier to receive Dolby Atmos on Prime Video, so unless you are paying for that then you won’t get Atmos.

Ok, thank you.

Is there anything I can play to test out the TV/Sonos link is working correctly?

YouTube atmos vids sound great but don't say atmos in the Sonos app. Same for BBC iPlayer.

(I've changed the hdmi cable in case it was that)

YouTube videos are converted to 2.0 stereo when uploaded, so even if they say Atmos, they aren’t.  Disney+ has the most Atmos content.  Most modern movies on that platform are Atmos, and it is available on all subscription levels.  Aside from that, you can go to the link below and download trailers that you can play from a USB drive plugged into most TVs.

OK,

Much appreciated. I was hoping that was the case. The system sounds great , the the app wasn't reporting “Atmos”, so just checking i have setup properly.

thanks

Disney+ also requires a Premium subscription in the UK for Atmos, as does Netflix.

If you’re not subscribed to a service that provides Atmos, it’s not going to affect your existing everyday TV viewing.

You mentioned Amazon, if you have a Firestick there is an Atmos test in the options menus.
