Hi All,

I have a complete surround system (arc ultra, sub mini and 2 era 300 speakers.

I would like to create a separate group just with the 2 era 300 lo listen to music instead of using the complete surround system

Is it possible to do that? how?

Thanks

Not easily, you have to remove them from the TV set and re-add them as a stereo Pair, Trueplay will need redone too.

Going back you remove the stereo Pair and re-add them to the TV set and re-trueplay.

It is worth doing a few times to see what you think of both arrangements but few folks keep doing it long term as it isn’t quick to do.

Once you decide either keep switching, get another Pair for front speakers, Era-300s or Fives are good choices or get another two to use as surrounds, Era-100s are pretty decent but the 300s are better.

In short, no.  You would need to remove the surrounds, pair them as their own room, and rerun Trueplay (if you want to use Trueplay).  Then unpair and re-add as surrounds to go back to surround sound.
