Hi

I have a controller CR200 that I can’t factory reset. I have already done tries steps

Take out the battery and replace it and placed in the cradle - Take out and replace the battery and placed in the cradle while I presse Mute + Home button and slide it down into the cradle, stille pressing the buttons.

The controller start up every time, and start looking for a Sonos product. I can see the SETTING in the bottom of the screen but noting happens when I press the button

Can anyone tell me how I make a factory reset on it ? Others ideas is also very welcome to fix this ola guy

Regards Reidl

Not sure, since it is no longer supported in software, that it can be factory reset. If you were to attempt to do so, wouldn’t it try to download the ‘newest’ firmware, which excludes the CR series?

I might try a call to Sonos Support to discuss it, but I wouldn’t expect a great chance of recovery.

Just as a note, while I never owned one, as I recall, it did require your system to be on SonosNet, perhaps that is why your device isn’t ‘finding’ anything?

Well I bought 2 today and I got one of them to work fine on my Sonos network with a network cable in one of the speakers, but the other one just keeps searching for Sonos speakers. I can't even get into settings and reset it

Your battery charge is showing low. I don’t know if this unit locks out some reset functionality at low charge.

We don’t know if there is a hardware issue with such an old unit. A batch of these units experienced a touch failure that started in the lower right corner and gradually expanded diagonally to the upper left. The units displayed, but responded less and less to touch as the unresponsive area expanded.

Probably just another broken touch display. The CR200 was famous for that.
