Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Anyone else have this issue?If I play a song direct in the apple music app on my iPhone (ie through the phone speakers or my AirPods Pro) it will show as Atmos or Lossless depending on the song.If I play the same song through my Sonos system connected the Apple TV 4K then it will play the song in Atmos/Lossless. For info the system is a Beam Gen 2, Sub Gen 2 and 2 x Gen 2 5’sIf I use the Sonos app on my iPhone and play the song from the Apple Music library within the app it will not play in Atmos/Lossless.I have 320mbps internet so speed isn't the issue.I have: - deleted and reinstalled the app - Reauthorised the Apple Account - Rebooted the InternetI can't see why when I use the music app on the Apple TV the music is played in Atmos/Lossless. But when I play the song via Apple Music within the Sonos app, it won't. Anyone know how to fix as it is really irritating my CDO? 😂 Thanks 

Hi All,I was hoping someone could give me some troubleshooting thoughts on an issue I’m having with my outdoor speakers (Polk Atrium 6) connected to my Sonos Amp (Gen 2). I have 4 Polk Atrium 6 speakers (2 pairs) connected to my Sonos Amp. One pair on my upper patio and one pair on my lower patio.  I also have volume control knobs on the inside of my house for each pair.I’ve had this setup for 6 years with no issues.Last week, one of the upper patio speakers stopped working. The other upper patio speaker worked and so did the lower patio speakers.  I thought the one speaker may have went, so I bought a new pair of the same exact speakers.  They came today - I unplugged the amp, disconnected the non-working speaker/reconnected the new speaker, plugged the amp back in.  Thought this would be a simple fix - of course not.   Now both upper patio speakers are not working.  The lower patio speakers still work.  I double checked that I hooked u

I just noticed the S1 app claims Deezer is no longer supported on Sonos. Is this right? Its still on the Services web page, though there’s no indication of S1 compatibility on that page.  

I currently have a Playbar, 2 Play ones as rear Speakers and a Sub Woofer. I want Dolby Atmos and am considering replacing the Playbar with Beam Gen 2. Has anyone done this and what was their experience good or bad?

I currently have a pair of Play 5 (Gen 2) with a Gen 2 Sub. Would I be able to add a 2nd sub to this (A Gen 3)

Hello,In our living room, we have a Connect Amp and an Arc bar connected to four speakers and our television set.  That room is just beside our pool terrasse.  Is it possible to add 2 speakers for the pool … and, since they are not always required, those speakers would be switched on manually.Thanks in advance. 

I have a Sonos system with 4 Play:1 speakers, a Sonos Sub, and a Playbar.I recently bought another Playbar but I'm having trouble connecting it to my existing system. I have no prior experience setting up Sonos and need help figuring out how to do this.

I’m asking for help with a karaoke setup connected with HDMI to my TV that has a playbar, sub and two play 300’s.  Will it output though the Sonos system or just the lyrics on screen?  I do not use an amp.

Question about the SONOS Ace headphones. I currently have 3 SONOS devices, and the app on iPhone, iPad and MacOS. All good. Do the headphones appear as another selectable device in the app? Put another way, if I want to listen to music from any of me sources via the app, can I simply de-select the other SONOS devices, have only the headphones selected, and play my tunes just like I do today?Sorry for the naive’ question, but it’s not clear from the documentation if the headphones work as any other SONOS device and playing music to the headphones is no different than my Move2 or Play5. Thanks

I have an odd issue - I have a Sony Bravia 3 (purchased this year) and Sonos Arc Ultra (also purchased this year) - and the ARC connection needs to be “switched” over on the ARC everytime on turn the TV on - i need to go to TV settings - set it back to TV Spekers and the oVer to Audio System - firmware is updated on all - any thoughts??

I have Era 100 speakers installed in my home. I also have a turntable with its built-in simple amplifier. I want to know what equipment I should purchase so the turntable can play through my Era 100 speakers, and I also want to listen to my TV through the same speakers. I understand I should buy an amplifier and a sound bar, and I could achieve what I want, but I'd like to be sure.

I have a network with 3 devices. Sonos 5, Play3 and Move 2.My summer house is just out of range of wifi so I bought the Move 2 to try to act as a repeater for my wifi after being told it can setup a Sonosnet that is dedicated to Sonos network.I have hard wired my Sonos 5 which is very close to the router.But my Move 2 does seem to be connected to the SonosNet.I can check my status using:http://192.168.0.27:1400/support/review My Sonos 5 shows its in Sonosnet mode:WifiMode 0 WifiModeString SONOSNET_MODE IdleState 0x00000000 BusyClients AUDIO_OUT, LOCAL_SONOSNET, NO_PRIMARY  But my Move 2 shows:Wireless Info Wifi

I bought a Panasonic TV about a month ago and connected a Beam Gen 2 and surrounds via HDMI to the eArc.  Everything worked great except no sound from the Blu Ray player, which I still haven’t figured out.  Last night the soundbar disconnected from the TV and I can’t get it to reconnect.  I tried restarting both the TV and soundbar and ultimately factory reset both.  It still won’t connect.  When I try to add a soundbar on the TV it says there is an unsupported audio device connected to HDMI 2 (eArc connection).  When I “connect to TV” in the Sonos app, it says connecting but just gets stuck.  It has worked great for the past month.  Any ideas?  

Yes, my living room system consists of the following below.Living Room….Playbase, two play 3’s and two SubsThis is the only room where the speakers drop out and then will reconnect several seconds later. It may all speakers or just the Playbase or the two 3’s. They have been doing this for sometime now. Thank you,Gary

sonos Android app 80.23.9sonos OS 85-0-65270Android 14 Kernal 5.10.218There is a repeatable bug in the android app where it can delete the wrong entries when you are editing a playlist. I have a playlist with 10 or so albums, open the playlist to edit delete two entries at the beginning then scroll down and delete, lets call it the 40th entry  press done Review the result and you will find that entries 1 and 2 have gone BUT entry 40 is still present and entry 42 has been deleted instead. I repeated this test 5 times and it happened every time What changes things is if you hit DONE on EVERY screen you have deleted something and you don’t scroll down to edit other entries first then it appears to delete the correct entries.  Such mistakes are easy to miss unless you are very careful in reviewing your changes and you are looking out for it which is why I suspect so few

In our family room I have an Arc Ultra. 2 x 300s, and a gen2 Sub. Originally it was an Arc and the Sub was great. Since updating to the Arc Ultra the Sub is really not doing much. I have read this should have been fixed but I have ran all updates and can confirm this has not been resolved. I imagine this has to do with a crossover the Arc Ultra is managing what low frequencies to send to the Sub. If feels like the Sub isn’t getting it’s part of the mix. I can gain up the sub +10 in the app and it is almost unnoticeable. 

i have googled and read online that you can access saved room groups through play.sonos.com.  i have gone to rooms section; selected a room and save groups aren’t there.  So, if you can how can you? if you can’t then why does material say you can

Any song which part of an iTunes/Apple Music compilation then indexed in Sonos, Music Library/Imported Playlists will not play on either my Windows 11 pc, any of my ios devices, or Sonos speakers. These tracks play fine in the Apple Music app on pc and ios devices. Songs in Sonos imported playlists that are not in Compilations play fine on all devices. Please advise. Thank you.  

I have some first gen Sonos - play:1 and 3, playbar, sub, and an SL. They were all working well together for years, using the Sonos app on my iPhone, iPad and Mac. but recently it’s been glitchy and today suddenly it decides not to work. Only the SL could be set up and is found on the app. What can I do? Has Sonos decided not to support first gen speakers? Thanks.

My Sonos Beam is not showing any info in about your system → audio in when watching a movie,The Beam is playing audio without any problems but I can’t verify what actually gets passed from my TV to the Beam any more.Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch in advance.
