connecting phone app to existing system

My phone is connected to main WiFi network and also the Sonos system that’s on a sonosnet boost. My wife’s phone cannot connect to the existing system since the phone is on the main WiFi network and phone cannot see the boost sonosnet. How do I connect her phone to the apps existing system my phone is already connected to, especially avoiding a system reboot in fear of disconnecting my phone.

On her phone, check the app settings for Sonos that Local Network access is enabled.

The app communicates with the speakers via your wifi network.

Looking at your profile with the Sonos gear you have the Boost shouldn’t be necessary unless you are having connectivity issues over your WiFi. Also your device doesn’t connect to the Boost it still connects to your home WiFi.

Maybe her phone has WiFi disabled. She may not have noticed because email and web browsing can still be done over the cell network.
