Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello, I still haven't updated my apps with the latest update (!?...) from SONOS, an app that still seems to cause huge quality and reliability problems for users.I AM A CAREFUL MAN IN MY ACTIONS AND COMMENTS.This morning, on my 2023 iPhone, the SONOS app is forcing me to apply this update!…The application is blocked!…Is it really elegant and commercial on the part of SONOS to impose its "work"?...I HOPE THE MODERATORS WILL NOT DELETE THIS POST, HAVING INVESTED HEAVILY IN A SONOS SYSTEM CONTAINING MORE THAN 7 SPEAKERS!...I wish you a good day.

Sonos speakers all visible. TV feed to playbar, surrounds and sub all working. Streaming off mobile device working.BUT all my audio music services have disappeared in the app. Have checked on 3 devices...all android, all running S1.Have signed out and signed back in...no change.Fibre internet connection is fine running at 520Mbps.Thoughts?

L R balance on Amp stopped working since the new App. No change is balance when sliding from one side to the other. Both speakers still playing stereo music. Is that an other new App bug?  We have not tested function on an other Amp.

I have a pair of Sonos One SL and one speaker suddenly stopped working. The lights are not going on, even though there was no power outage and it has been plugged into the same place since purchase. Coincidentally this occurred on the same day as the software upgrade on my iphone.Sadly this happened to me previously with my original One speaker and I replaced it with this one. Why does this equipment suddenly die? Is there a part that can be replaced or a software change that can make it power up again?I should have cut my losses and switched out of this system.

App thru apple I phone was working okay until I changed my broadband from BT to Sky, Now although I  still get sound thru the beam I can not get Sonos app to work and my 2 Sonos one speakers are now not connecting to the Beam, I have tried factory reset  which has not worked, without the app I can not get into the beam menu to make adjustments,any ideas folks.

I recently bought sub mini to improve music quality of my stereo play 5s so that it is a perfect 2.1 setup. but disappointed that sub hardly made a difference. Am i missing something or mini is not a good sub. Thanks for your help.

I’m creating a new thread as I tried asking in several other threads but haven’t yet heard back from anyoneI have this same Roam issue where you can kind of add it via iPhone app, but then it says “not registered” and when you click on “fix it” it gives error code 1,008. Everyone saying use windows app to update itBut how on earth are people getting the desktop app to update anything? I have downloaded, deleted and redownloaded the desktop app on my pc multiple times and never am I asked to update anything (I am using the latest app for windows). I have tried resetting my roam, adding it via my phone, getting to the “not registered” point, hitting fix it, then leaving it open on the screen when I see “error 1,008” and then I try to start up the desktop app but nothing happens. If I click on join an existing system, it just asks me to configure firewall and then opens the app but no mention of any updates and no sign of my roam within the devices. Only lists my other sp

Hi, Sonos Community.  My husband received a Roam 2 as a gift and we were excited to add it to our existing Sonos system.  We have a One (wired) and Play 1 (wireless) in our existing set-up and they work perfectly.  We updated to the latest version of the Sonos App before we added the Roam 2 to our system.  The connection process was smooth and the App sees the three speakers and says they are all connected.  We are unable to play music from the Roam 2, however, and we’ve tried selecting it alone and grouped with the other speakers (which is how we would almost always use it.)  When we select the roam we get an “Unable to connect.  Please try again later message”  Again, our One and Play 1 are working perfectly.I spent an hour on hold last night with customer service (no agent event answered) and have tried the live chat mutliple times (the bot keeps saying there are no agents available) so this is my last shot at resolving the issue before we return the speaker.  We already h

The main reason I own a Sonos system is to listen to US and Ireland radio stations, for music (bluegrass, folk etc) and current affairs (RTÉ). Suddenly a few days ago ALL of these have stopped playing, either via TuneIn or MyTuner. (They have never been available on Sonos Radio). I spent almost two hours with the online live help two days ago and she was unable to solve it, and seemed to be totally unaware of the issue previously. She suggested i would have to phone the helpline (which I avoided because of the 45 min wait) to see if it was a problem with my (relatively new) router. I looked through here and tried adding the station’s url to the TuneIn app but that didn’t work. I also deleted both apps and reinstalled - no joy.Grant it, I’m using the old/original Play:1 and Play:5 models, but I don’;t think this is the issue?Will I need to finally DITCH the whole system??If so, what is the best alternative?FUMING!

Has anyone succesfully connected to a Linkstation music library after the update? I have switched the NAS to SMB2turned off SMB1 on my PCAll other apps work with the NASand spent over an hour with SONOS Level 1 support. , I have a Level 2 appointment on 7/2. still get the message “Share is no longer available” when adding the path

I have been dealing with this since you FORCED this joke of an app update on us. NO INTELLIGENT support has been offered or available to date. I have followed all the recommended troubleshooting docs on this site and nothing has helped. My system worked flawlessly before you broke it with the new app. Now my speakers are seen in the spotify app but not in the Sonos app. READ THAT AGAIN! Spotify app sees them but the Sonos app does not. That should be a HUGE CLUE!!! I want a refund on all of my devices. YOU BROKE THIS NOT ME. My network is not the issue. It worked fine until you forced the update and now you expect me to change it to accommodate your poorly written code. Hire someone that knows how to run a company properly. FIX THIS NOW or come get this junk and give me my money back!

I was unable to play music using Soundcloud after the recent update, so I removed and tried to add back sound cloud but now I am getting the message unable to connect.If I try Spotify it gets stuck on ‘connecting’ but doesn’t play any music.Speaker: SONOS OneIOS: 17.5.1Does anyone have any suggestions?

I recently played an album from my WD NAS music library but now it always plays no matter what other album I select - on top of this issue, when I open the Albums selection some now appear 2 or 2 times whilst many list all the songs instead of the album name.In effect I have lost all function for my music library - I was very annoyed when the images of the albums dissappeared  - But this is a new level.Ringing the Sonos helpline was no good “Our technical support team is currently offline” answer is not helpfullJocular

How do you edit, remove, add, reorder a speaker queue list? It’s not easily found and if not available now it’s a great step forward for the app but 10 steps back for leaving this option out and I will be reverting to previous S2 app!!

Hey all,  Got a strange issue with my Gen 2 Connect Amp - I'm trying to plug in a powered subwoofer into the subwoofer output port on the amp, however it doesn't seem to be working. When I plug it in with music playing, the amp will dip the main speakers for a second and the sub will start playing, then it cuts off again and the sub output goes quiet. I also can't see any sub adjustments on the product page in the sonos app. Any ideas? Anyone else seen this? I have tried multiple amps with multiple cables and they all exhibit the same issue. 

Beam turns Samsung tv on at the same time every night (21:30). It’s connected via HDMI ARC. Thee are no timers set on the tv. Please help

When I use the Apple Music App and search it gives me artists, songs and albums in the results.Searching Apple Music in the Sonos app does the same. The challenge I’m having is once I select an Artist. In Apple Music I receive a list of songs, a list of albums, and so forth. When I do so with Sonos I only get a list of songs.if I search the full artist name and include the word ‘albums’ Sonos will show me the albums. This, however, is a lot of extra typing on a mobile device.How can I make the Sonos app return the same or similar results when going to an artist page as when I search on Apple Music. I’d rather have my Sonos directly streaming the music from Apple Music instead of casting it from my phone.

Brand new Sonos arc, factory reset not working, light still white, won’t change

Just upgraded to the latest, new and improved Sonos app on my mobile phone (iPhone) and it has led to my losing my complete music library which is on a NAS.After some discussions with support, they confirmed that this option is not available - only the commercial streaming services (and it does recognise Plex) are visible and accessible but no proprietary My Music Library.Allegedly this will be rolled out in a future iteration, but no timeframe provided.Beware if you are considering upgrading

I have a system at home and a system at work, with the new app I have to constantly join and sign in to each system, the old app just switch seamlessly. SO ANNOYING! Plus, the speakers are constantly dropping off the system and have to be power cycled to work again. Adjusting volume across all speakers simultaneously is also clunky in the new app, such a poor experience overall… blech!

It's impossible to control the volume with this "update", it does what it wants, I have it at 54, move it to 75, goes back to 54, has done that 10 times without allowing me to change the volume.It keeps asking me to reauthorize spotify even though it says every time that it was authorized successfully.Every time I open the app, it can't find my system and have to jump through hoops before it finds it again.Sonos, do everyone a favor and FIRE all your "developers" and go back two versions until you are able to come up with a FUNCTIONAL app. This is worse than garbage. This is not even a beta version Using version 80.04.05 from July 3rd.

So within the BBC Sounds on the new app when you are trying to listen to a podcast or a show on catch-up there is no way of telling a)what date the show was broadcast or b) if you have already started listening to a show.In the previous app, when looking at shows in BBC sounds it would display both the date of broadcast, but also usefully a little circle that would fill up around the play button showing what percentage of your show you've listened to. You'd then know whether to continue listening or go onto the next show. But on the new one it's impossible to tell. Very annoying. 

My Playbase does not appear on my system after updating to the new Sonos App. It works fine with the TV but I can't control it from the App and is not visible within my system. Any thoughts?

When I change the volume via the app the volume goes up on one side more than the other when I go past 40 and then up on one as I lower volume below 40. Should they not sound equal as I raise or lower the volume?
