I’m trying to set up a Connect (Gen1), but as soon as it’s plugged in the light flashes white - and not the usual slightly leisurely on/ off white blinking, but fast flashing white. Hard reset routine does nothing, and the suggestion is it’s not booting. 

Is it kaput/ time for the bin?

I’d call Sonos Support to confirm it dies and ask about replacement offers.


Thanks for the recommendation. Spoke to support, and the upshot is it’s dead - won’t boot, can’t be updated, won’t communicate with the network again. 

Another one bites the dust
