Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Thank you...this appears to be an ongoing unanswered questionIn the iPhone app [and Mac app] one can set and apply individual volumes for all speakers in a group.Let us assume that the group volume is 6 with room volumes between 2 and 10 all remembered and workingOne can turn music / radio etc on and off and volumes are remembered.When setting alarm one picks a room then groups the rooms to be included and sets volume a 6Alarm when activated at time requested resets all room volumes to 6This is simply not good enough and needs to be addressed.If it works under normal conditions of turning music on and of at grouped but individual volumes then surely this setting should also be easily controlled in the same way with the alarmAgain, Many Thanks

I have assigned IPs to each speaker and they connected for 1 day. This morning I opened the app only to find “no products found”. In system settings it tells me to “update network “ which finds both speakers, connects to the WiFi, only to revert back to “no products found. I did this routine 3 times and still have no music.What is wrong with this scenario?

Sonos- What have y’all done?  I just did the update a few minutes ago and now my library will not play.  It continues to say Unable to browse music.  This is absolute nonsense.  And, to boot, my speakers keep ungrouping now.It is now mid July and I have seen no improvements- I did see crossfade has been added to the app but you still can’t do anything with music queues.  The app is extremely slow after this last update.Do you just not care about your customer base?  I have ten SONOS speakers and now I am back to square one with streaming music from Amazon, etc.  UNACCEPTABLE.

Sometimes after a Sonos update (such as the current one that’s available now) you may see in System Settings that a component is not connected.  The warning may appear even though there was no “Update Failed” screen at the end. Unless you can readily identify the room containing the component discovery may be a PITA 😂Sonos suggests following the steps in this link. Those steps can appear a bit daunting at times.  Especially, if you have several Sonos components of the same type.Here are some steps you can try that are less time consuming and may yield quicker results:

I cant connect Sonos Connect to wifi or via Ethernet cable to the router. The app cant configurate the Product

I appreciate the efforts your company is undertaking to fix all the bugs as quickly as possible, nevertheless there is one point that I believe does not receive sufficient attention i.e. your decision to block support for local libraries over SMBv1.Indeed, it might not be the latest standard and it has some vulnerabilities, but in isolated environments like local home networks of majority of your customers these vulnerabilities do not pose material threat because a) there is no access to internal network from outside and b) the only content that would get potentially compromised is the music library, so really nothing confidential.

Following the update I cannot get my preferred radio stations to play, even through the new search function.

Concerning the new Sonos app, I can’t find a way to have Sonos play or shuffle all the tracks in my Tidal collection. I can play and shuffle all tracks in a playlist, but not all the tracks in the collection like I could do with the old Sonos app.Am I missing something?Mark

After Update 80.00.20 all devices are Not available.With the old 16er Version everything was Fine.S2 with sub,Playbar,play3 and move.the devices are available in my Spotify App.In Sonos s1app are the devices viewable ….   IOS iPhone 15max pro

I have 2 different Sonos systems using s2 one at home and one at work after I connect to one the next day the other one doesnt automatically connect i have to Find the system. 

I have the impression that for some time now, when playing music via AirPlay, whether it's Apple Music or Spotify, I have to set the volume to almost 70 to have reasonably loud music in the room. At levels from 10 to 50, you can hardly hear anything. Is it normal to have to set the volume to 70-80 percent to get reasonably audible music? I've had the Arc for a few weeks now, and this has always seemed strange to me.Yes, I've checked the settings in the app; the volume is at 100 percent, I don't have any night modes enabled, TruePlay has been performed. Interestingly, for example, games from the PS5 are very loud and there, with CoD, I set it to a maximum of 28. With Apple TV 4K, it's better, but for Apple Music, I still need to increase the volume to 50-60.How is it for you? I'm particularly asking about the volume on the iPhon

The following missing connected services: Pocket Casts, Radio Paradise, Radioplayer, SoundCloud, Plex, Audible?All of 1-3 above are visible and playable when I use the macOS Sonos app (or my own SoCo-CLI command line utility).Thanks!

As the Sonos app is now completely useless I gave up on workarounds etc. I run all my music from a Mac and I discovered an app called REMOTE in the Apple app store , downloaded it and hey presto it works, I can play all my music through my Sonos system using my iPhone and iPad. It works better than the old donor App. Hope it works as well for anybody who tries it.

Good Afternoon.I read various sources on using SonosNet for my speakers.  I’ve attempted to switch over and I am missing step.  The next steps feel like basically deleting what I have set-up and starting from scratch.I current run eight Ones, two Move 2, and a mini sub throughout my house.  the two Move 2 are paired, one set of Ones are paired, and the second paired set is connected with mini sub.  the rest are singles in the house.I have one speaker plugged in directly to the network, the rest run on Wi-Fi from same network.  This next step is where I hesitate.  Do I basically delete the Wi-Fi settings from the main menu and then walk the house, going to each speaker and re-add them?  There should be a SonosNet choice this time for the network name (WM:1), correct?I just need to document the MAC address before starting to know which speaker is being reset so I go to the right place?  I wanted to ask this question before doing this action because i

I have got an update of my speaker Type 1 from S1 to S2. I have installed the new App Sonos 2.  when I use Spotify the connection brake down scree 1,5 min and I can’t start again need to close down all conditions and start again, but after 1,5 min brake down again.Notification I don’t ask for an update of my speaker  that have Sonos don automatically. I note it when my system don’t work with the speaker Typ 1 who gave bean update to S2. I have contact with the Swedish service yeasterday but that take 80 minutes and the chat 60 min. I can’t use the service. I have used Sonos more the 10 years without problems. Johnny Wärnelöv 

I changed internet providers and my speakers (two Sonos one, a port, and a move) constantly lose connection or are not connecting when I try to airplay from my phone or the app. How do I troubleshoot to improve connection? My internet speed is much faster now, but for some reason the connection isn’t as stable. Is this because of the new app at all?

i can no longer see my music library or update it (says pinned content is no loger available) and cannot add Apple Music as content as it says it has expired and requires reauthorisation. Is anyone else expeiencing these problems

It doesn’t sync my speakers.  There is a huge lag between adjusting volume and effect. Pressing pause or stop took more than 5 seconds to register.  It’s utterly unintuitive and should never have been released. I can’t find out how to downgrade - surely this is possible?

Hi All, I apologise if this question has already been asked -seems like we can all agree however how average the new app is and I would do anything to get the old one back!!I can’t seem to find my favourite function on the new app which was Crossfade. does anyone know how I can get my Sonos to Crossfade again? Thanks  🙏 

In new app, using Tidal, I search for artist: Skullcrusher (example only).  App shows the list of all songs.  There is no option to play all.  I am able to play one song at a time.  Super cool.  Please advise.

At this point my 20-unit Sonos system is useless except for TV audio - at least the “app” didn’t break that. I have many thousands invested in players that are now essentially bricked because of a 100% non-functioning app as per yesterdays update (ios). I feel Sonos owes me big time on this. So either they compensate or they buy back their useless players from me at retail price. Who feels the same way?
