I am using Apple Music and I am quite sure that when I use Sonos app to listen to my Apple Music, my play count in Apple Music Data is not updating.

That’s really a big problem because then, Apple Music won’t be ever able to give me recommandations based on my listening history.

When I go to Apple Music app, the music I listened to shows in the recently played. But if I dig further, using a third app (like Marvis Pro) or a shortcut to show me Apple Music play count, I can see it’s not taken into account.

I tried with one song in particular to play it only through Sonos app. During the last 4 days, I played it 10 times. The play count is still 0.

Have you made the same observation ?
