Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I lost access to my music library (on my Mac Mini) after 7pm tonight - it appeared to coincide with an update on our MacBook (that I couldn’t avoid).I have now lost access to my Music Library on both my S1 and S2 products - anyone know why that might be?These are the messages I get:S1‘// Jamess-Mac-Mini/Music’ is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path my have changed.Go to settings>System>Music Library>Music Library Setup to check the path.The only options I get are to add/delete a music libraryS2Sonos was unable to add the music folderUnable to add the shared folder “James-Mac-mini/Music” to your Music Library (913)As I said, all was working until around 7pm tonight, then everything stopped. So disappointed.  

So first off Sonos really needs to be better at their advertising. Whoever is in charge is either very unexperienced or just trying to trick people into buying a new product. This “Pair” clearly says you can Share the home theater experience with someone. How in the world can you share 1 pair of headphones? Their “chat” persons are just as bad. I was assured my existing setup would work with the ACE headphones. I get them and they do not work. I am told the were never meant to work with the Beam. So we had to buy an ARC. Ok, time for an upgrade, $1600 for a set of head phones to work with your home entertainment system seems a bit steep, but I really wanted to keep the Sonos ecosystem going. I told the rep I wanted to use both headsets, I told them we had a hearing impaired family ,ember that would need to listen via headphones while the rest could listen normally. So I seen the $$ and the new ARC arrives. Guess what? Yeah, I was lied to AGAIN. Apparently the ARC cannot do 2 headset

Any word on when we will get the ability to remove "Pined by you" items from the web controller home screen?I've gotten 16 of the useless things showing above my favorites and can't see an option to delete themin the web controller.

Manage drop down menu: Choose Music Library Settings: Press + Choose “another folder or drive connected to my computer” (as my music is not in “My Music Folder”)  Browse: choose folder where my music is : Users/MYNAME/ Dropbox/iTunes  Next → SONOS WAS UNABLE TO ADD THE MUSIC FOLDER, ACCESS TO THE SHARED FOLDER IS DENIED - CHECK THE USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD I read some other posts about this problem, so I already did the following two possible fixes: System Settings: Sharing: and I turned ON File Sharing and Media Sharing  System Settings: Privacy & Security: Full Disk Access: +. and I added Sonos, so that it can access data on my Mac. Why can i not listen to RadioTunes anymore on my Sonos? Before i was very happy for my Sonos, but not anymore😳👎👎. I have called Sonos support here in Denmark, but they was not to any help🤔👎. All the problems started with the new TuneIn update + the new Sonos update.

Hi there community. So recently I bought the arc, sub mini and two era 300 speakers. I was wondering about the following two: -Did I place the era 300s in the best way possible for my room? They are facing forward and not in an angle towards the seating position which is in the middle of the couch. Not sure if I should turn them inwards towards the seating area.-When I sit in the middle of the couch, often I realize that the right speaker is somehow louder than the left one. Support did analyse a diagnostics report but couldn’t find anything. My theory is

I’m not sure why Sonos thinks this is a desirable feature, but it drives me crazy: Whenever I shuffle a playlist, the very first song in the playlist’s “natural” order is not shuffled. The rest of the songs are shuffled, but not the first song. This sucks.Another unrelated nuisance is that Sonos seems to restart playing the shuffled playlist from the beginning without any prompting from me. So for example, if play a shuffled playlist, sometimes it will continue to play where it left off, and sometimes, inexplicably, it will start from the first song again.I’m wondering what the logic is behind these annoying behaviors.

Hi,I have both Roam and Move 2.  The problem I am having is finding the battery life of each of these items. My mobile (android) has the new app and I can find the battery life on this (not as good as the previous version of the app but there are enough comments on this already).  However, I use the PC (windows) version of the app to mainly control the Move 2.  However, I cannot find anywhere on the PC app version, battery life of my speakers.  Each time, I have to use the app on my mobile.  One of the problem with the new app is that it doesn’t always connect to the speakers and so I have to reload it several times whereas the PC version doesn’t suffer from this problem and seems much more stable.  However, it doesn’t appear to have the same functionality, it does all I ask of it except I can’t find out the battery life of the speakers and its a pain having to access my mobile to see the battery life.  Does anyone know how to access battery life through the PC

I upgraded my wifi mesh system. Now any hard wired computer that uses the S1 controller cannot see the system. The system works when using the app with my phone. With the desktop app I connect to the system and I get the  “ connected to the system”  screen. I click done and it immediately goes to the desktop app screen stating it cannot find the system. All speakers are seen on the mobile app and work fine

I see similar questions have been posted int the past but I dont see any actual solution?  My system worked perfectly fine for a couple of weeks then, my devises struggle to reconginze each other, the TV always disconnects from the Arc after powering down.My setup:Samsung Q-LED TVSonos ARC and SubApple TVI’ve confirmed:ANynet is onHDMI e-ARC on on autoIve tried:Completey resetting both devises and setting up again (without any other devise connected)tried the (NON e-ARC) HDMI slotSpent hours on the phone with Sonos and Samsung supportInstalling a CEC blocker on the Apple TV line Would really appreciate any solutions to this super frustrating issue 

Can you let us know when Sonos Playlist will be available in the new app?

Hi all Can’t connect to our new Move 2 in our new italian summer house. We have wify and many sonos products at home. the app will not see the move 2?? 

I only noticed this after updating the Sonos iOS app, but it could have been a problem prior to the update. The microphone for Beam and One are disabled by default, and i lost the ability to turn it back on. I understand that speakers setup as surround speaker pairs will need to have their microphones turned off. But I don’t know what’s causing Beam to lose its microphone as well. No wonder I’m not able to add Sonos Voice Control to Beam! Another thing I noticed is that Network is shown as “Unavailable” for my One and One SL, which were setup as a surround speaker pair. 

An alarm I saved that worked yesterday is shown today as “not available” and did not work.  Why is this?

I am experiencing problems with a large part of my Sonos system since yesterday. The issue is that both the Sonos Beam Gen 2 with Sub and the Sonos Ray have stopped working. They disappeared from the system, meaning they went offline, and are not responding. I have tried to add them back, factory reset them, and delete the entire Sonos system before adding them again. When I re-add them, Ray came online again but disappeared after a few hours. The only speaker that is still online is Era 100, which works as normal. All the products are about half a year old. I can also add that they have a good signal strength from the router, so that shouldn't be the problem. I have also tried connecting the Beam with an Ethernet cable, but that didn't work either. Has anyone experienced the same, and what is the solution?

I have a 4 speaker system which the latest update has rendered virtually unusable.Group volume control is useless, every time the app is opened I get the unable to connect message and when I try to connect to existing system it says no products can be found!When it does eventually find the system (can take up to 3 minutes), it can drop out at any minute.Why the app can't just be rolled back to a previous version is beyond me, at least that actually worked.I've read Mr Spence's email apologising on behalf of the 'Team' but as this debacle is now into its 4th month with zero improvement, all I want to here from him now is he's done the decent thing and resigned. 

Since the latest Sonos app update my Roam has connection issues. It shows in the app as an available speaker but an error message pops up “Unable to connect. Try again later”.All other speakers connect and play, except the Roam. 

I upgraded from a two year old Netgear router to a brand new Eero six mesh router, significantly improving the Wi-Fi signal in my home. Unfortunately, that upgrade meant I had to spend many hours reconnecting all 21 of my devices to the new router. Some were very easy and some took a while. I was never able to reconnect the Sonos system to the new router by myself. It required an hour long on-hold wait on the phone and two hours with a technician that was very difficult to understand (he was knowledgeable but I could not understand his accent very well and had to ask him to repeat what he was saying many times). In the end my patience won out after we gave up on using the WiFi connection process and hardwired the base station directly to the router, allowing the system to finally function properly. At the end of our interaction, I was under the impression that I would need to leave the system connected dir

Hi,Yesterday after turning off the television and nothing else playing, the Beam Gen2 started making crackling sounds. I powered off & on, and immediately the crackling resumed even though nothing was playing. I also noticed there was no LED when powering the Beam on.I left it powered off overnight, and this morning I have tried connecting it again. No LED, no nothing (also no crackling). I have attempted factory reset a couple times, but there is no LED at all when I connect the power.I don't see the speaker in the Airlplay device list, and the Sonos app also is not seeing the Beam anymore.Did it somehow die? Any suggestions what I else could do to fix it?

I have had a Sonos system for several years and it has worked without problems. However, more recently I experience frequent short time loss of the tv sound. It will usually come back automatically after 5-10 secs but sometimes I need to use the tv volume control. Any suggestions to solve this? My Sonos Beam is coupled to my LG tv (LG47LA740V) through a HDMI Arc cable.

I just upgraded from my old Sonos 1. Generation (from maybe 15 years ago?) and bought a couple of Move 2’s and a Move.  Installed the new version of Sonos and everything works EXCEPT when I try to play from Apple Music.  I have authorized Apple Music to play in Sonos.  I see the music I want to play on AM.  I select a song.  It either scrolls step by step through the entire album, playing nothing OR if I select a particular song, it seems to play for about one second and then it stops and the play button shows again.  I used Sonos with Apple Music in the past with my old system, never had this problem.  I tried removing and re-adding AM as a service, still the same useless behavior.  I have no idea how to fix this.  Spotify and Sonos Radio working fine.

Hi, new sonos app was just installed on my android. It is a mess, half of the services won't work, can't find the other half. Design is chaotic. Had my favourite radio stations on top, now they are mixed and hidden somewhere. How do i revert to the old version?
