Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Can I use my sonos amp with a yamaha sub and a pair of play 3's? I don't seem to hear the sub? Does it disconnect the sub when using the play 3's?

Hi I’ve been using a Sonos Roam 2 for a few months now with the Sonos app and when I try to shuffle my playlist through Apple Music on the Sonos it takes around 10-20 seconds to even start the song. I have good internet so I really don’t know what the problem is and would would appreciate any input. thanks

With the last App Update, I can add my music library and synchronize it, but I still cannot access the content of the library. With the web app it works, but not with the android app. Is there any recommendation to solve this problem?                                               

Hello, The Sonos app is crap, super slow unresponsive and it ruined how I enjoy music. Anyone has same issues? CheersMike

I know the update was terrible and buggy and everything that is bad about software development, but I think the fidelity of the sound has improved… or am I going insane?

Hi everyone,I’ve been attempting to use the longer 3.5mm to USB-C cable, which is the one supplied for audio, with my Sonos Ace headphones. However, it doesn’t work for audio transmission with my DAP. The short USB-C to USB-C cable, meant for charging, is the one that successfully transmits audio. Has anyone else had this issue?

So today I rolled the dice and updated my Android app, hoping the release notes promising local library search and playback from my Windows desktop were not a lie. I had to type in the serial numbers for two of my Ports before I could search for or play anything -- a new hassle I haven't encountered before -- but once that was done and I typed a band name into the search bar, it did indeed show me albums in my local library, as well as in Spotify, et al. I could also see all my imported playlists containing those local tracks. This seemed slightly encouraging. Unfortunately, while I can now play one complete album or one complete playlist (as long as it's not too large) from my local library, that seems to be the extent of the fix. Trying to play (or add to end of queue) just a single local track, or trying to add a second local album or local playlist to the end of my queue yields an, "Unable to add to queue" message, which is very weird, since I can add

I want to build a surround system with 6 below speakers.■beam x1■One x1■One SL x1■Era100  x2■Sub miniI set beam as center, One and OneSL as Lear.However, the remaining two units cannot be incorporated into surround sound.Excluding the sub, I can only connect 3 speakers, and I would like the other two to be on the left and right front, but is that possible?

Made the fateful decision yesterday to finally update to the v80 app...ever since not only is Sirius XM non-functional in the iOS but now also Android & Desktop apps.Yes I’ve reauthorized the app and also delete and readded the service in multiple apps (iOS & Desktop) and non-functional everywhere.  Airplay streaming from SXM app itself is only current functional means of playing. I have seen that there is a goose egg of help so far from Sonos, but hoping someone else as perhaps developed a functional workaround by now

Since the new Sonos app update ( May’24) I can longer play all “top tracks” from an artist search on tidal. It will only play one song.  The same goes for artist radio on tidal it will only play the first song you pick.  Previos Sonos app would automatically play each song one after the other.  This is something I use all the time.

During the confusing time when Sonos upgraded the system, I succeeded by mistake to set the system to wake me up 07:30. How do I delete this?

I swapped internet provider and can’t update my Sonos one tried reset and plugging into Ethernet cable ?

We recently dug our Sonos 3 out of the closet (used only during our wedding) to start using it again but it will not update - and it states an update is necessary to use the device. Now I find out it’s not supported?? 

How do I change the speakers off of port?  Speakers are not plugged into port. 

We continue to have issues with the sonos app staying connected to our system. When I first access the system using the mobile app, there isn’t much of a delay in responsiveness - I press play and it plays within a second or so. When I switch from the Sonos app on my iPhone/iPad to another app for a bit and then switch back to the Sonos app, there is a 10-15 second delay where it will not connect to the system. If I press skip or try to change the volume, nothing happens.  Eventually if I wait long enough, it connects and is reasonably responsive again.I don’t have the issue when I use the app on my mac. Any suggestions?Thanks

Since installing the updated app on our android phones, our Sonos system has gone berserk. Speakers randomly join or exit groups; random songs start playing on random speakers; the displays on our 2 phones show different sets of active songs/speakers, and neither of those match what I have on the master app on my Mac desktop; and the app simply stops doing whatever was commanded, in the middle of doing it.  E.g., tried to bundle all the speakers in Party mode and half joined, then several of those promptly croaked.

I am appalled at the lack of quality and ease of use with the updated Sonos App.  The U/I is awful.  Definitely a step back.  Cannot add my music library on my MAC.  Why did you change an app that was working fine.  Was this ever tested?  Did you do any Beta testing.  This is the worst implementation of any software updates I have ever used.  Your Quality Assurance department should be ashamed of themselves for releasing this garbage.

The new Sonos App is ridiculous / massive downgrade and in certain areas does not work. Has the CEO or the Board used it? Per their last earning call it appears they are oblivious -  “Best of all, our redesigned app is easier, faster, and better. It once again raises the bar for the home music listening experience and sets up our ability to expand into new categories and experiences”.This company had a great product and have now pissed off their main base - their existing users. Short the stock. Find a new system. This App sucks. Analysts read the forums, play with the new App - the functionality is terrible. This stock should tank. 

Noticed this week that all the speakers associated with my TV have disappeared from my system.  Absolutely no sign of themPlaybarPlay 1 x 2 Tried adding them and that doesn’t work.  Now begining to worry that the other speakers in my network will soon go the same way.  Tried using the speakers using Tidal and they’re not there either.Its been 2 months now since you “upgraded” your app and since then its been nothing but trouble.  I’d like to know how I can use my system please.

Is it possible to downgrade from the last Update which is absolutely terrible? 

Since the IT outage my two Sonos one SL’s have stopped working. I’ve factory reset them, found them and attached them to the WiFi but they are not showing on the app and I can’t turn on the speaker sound to give it commands. My beam and Roam are fine. Any help would be amazing, thank you. 

I have 2 Sonos One speakers.   Can i pair both with smart tv for stereo sound? If i purchase a Sonos soundbar, can i pair both with soundbar?THanks!

I just want to tell Sonos that they f***ed massively with the new app. I am considering selling all my products. I have 16 products, including one, beam , IKEA, play bar, 3, 5, Era  300 etc. I am playing a record and can't low volume, it takes decades to go up or down. Right now it's been 7 times that the same song restarted after playing half of it. And don't start with the play button missing in the Deezer option. Now I can tell that I made a huge mistake buying all my music products od Sonos. I regret deeply. Sonos go back to the old app and don't touch it. If not, you will loose a 10 year loyal costumer. 

Just when I though that thing scold not get any worse Sonos decides to tell me I need a paid Deezer subscription.I have been using the same one for years.Totally ridiculous.
