how to roll back an update of Sonos ?

I have the Sonos app for many years with several music speakers.
Since the last update of the Sonos app on Android it's a disaster. There are lots of bugs, the interface is not good. Everyone at home complains ! my children, my wife and me !!
He asks me how to go back to the old version?

The bugs are for example you select a room and the music goes to another room. We no longer want to have this version.

Can you help me change the version, otherwise I will sell my entire system.

Welcome to the party.  You cannot roll back any update.  It’s just a waiting game till Sonos fixes the acknowledged deficiencies.

Good luck with the selling.

These nitwits have 1.5 stars in the Android Play Store--the lowest of any major company's app I've ever seen. If they don't at the very least give users the ability to roll back the app, they might as well commit corporate suicide. If I'm a Best Buy employee, for example, I warn customers how loathed this app is.

The new version is a disaster. I tried to go back but we can't. I wonder about selling all my Sonos equipment when I'm a fan of the system. It's crazy!

Yes it’s mad.  What was maddening at first is that the CEO did not understand or acknowledge just how bad the new app was.  Not only was it missing many features, it was tragically unstable too.

They have now admitted it was a mistake but also that they are unable to back track.

It makes me wonder if the Sonos management actually use their own products!  They certainly don’t listen to their customers or testers.

Have you updated to the latest version released this week, and checked you are on the latest speaker firmware, to ensure you are aligned with the latest available updates?

Yes. And Sonos has, for example, left out the ability to configure my Android's volume buttons to control Sonos device volume, so that I am stuck with Sonos taking over those physical bottoms as set by the last version, but the control is squirrelly, and prevents me from leaving my Beam muted and using my phone's volume buttons to control media volume on my phone.

HA! You solution for screwing us over is to waste a bunch more of our time while talking zero corporate responsibility?! BYEEEE!
