Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Have installed a Port to link an old B&O to my existing system. I have all right connections, it shows up on my system and will play on its own but will not link. just says “unable to connect. Try again later” this is the latest in a string of issues since the new app “upgrade”🙄Very frustrated. Again

Since the newest update , CEC has been broken . My HDMI 1 (OPPO 203 bluray player )and HDMI 2 (Apple TV 4k) devices which are set to “enhanced “ under HDMI setting has been acting very strangely. When I restart my Apple TV device it willl completely lose out signal and I will need to go back to HDMI setting and switch from enhanced to standard and back to enhanced to get the image signal back . Same as the OPPO bluray player . It’s very frustrating now I need to do that every time ,  anyone has issue with CEC or connectivity issue from Sonos Arc to TV since new update ?

One more issue for me, in addition to the familiar music library fail, and with latest update, iOS battery drain when running Sonos in background:2 of my 3 speakers are constantly dropping out when playing a new track. Have to manually re-engage them each time.

I have 2 Sonos speakers and would never recommend this product to anyone. You need to go elsewhere! I constantly have connection problems, and Sonos Support takes hours to assist. This is a terrible product!!!

I have two Sonos Play 1’s bought in 2017 and rarely used.  I like the look of the speakers which are stylish and discrete.  They were set up on my wifi in England and I thought I would use them more in my house in France.  I stream Apple music from my ipad.  However, the wifi network in France is not great as we have 500mm thick stone walls between the router and the sitting room - which is where I want to use the speakers as a connected pair.  I have lost the will to live whilst trying to get them onto the French wifi network and am thinking that I will upgrade to Era 100s using the 15% upgrade discount.   These speakers are advertised as offering Bluetooth connectivity.  However, my blood ran cold when I saw that you need to set them up initially using wifi!!!I now have two questions before I buy:Will the speakers work as a pair when connecting via Bluetooth?if so,Could I set them up on my English wifi and stream from my Ipad there and then bring them to France to continue to connect

When the “upgraded” app was released, as you all know - it was a major debacle.  I tried to give Sonos some time, figuring the Product Team rushed the developers & project team, just so they could start selling the headphones.  However, it’s been several weeks, and there are still major bugs.  I’ve spent multiple hours reading things on the Community site (since it’s impossible to get through to Tech Support, and that seems like a lost cause anyway)… and found workaround to some issues, but I’d like to list others I haven’t found a solution for, in case anyone knows of a fix.  (Why we have to spend this much time figuring out workarounds for something that used to work just fine is beyond me...) I’ve read the various links (ex.https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/the-new-sonos-app-and-future-feature-updates) posted about “planned upgrades” (i.e. restoring previous functionality) and bug fixes, but don’t see anything in the near future about these items.  I’ve restarted my system

The update installed on July 18 or 19 shows “No selections are available” for my windows 10 music library. The folder adds to the system and appears in the selection menu for Sonos, but gives the”No selections” message.  The system was working fine and once again, the update “screwed the pooch.”Any ideas out there? Sonos has a fix for a MAC, but I have a PC

 When I hold on an Amazon Music playlist and choose Play Now  I get the error Something went wrong…. I’m a patient guy so I wait and finally it loads ( well part of it…500 of 622 tracks ).  It doesn’t start playing; I have to do that part.  Cleared queue with old app and tried same playlist but chose Replace Queue.  No error but this time it only loaded 100 of 622 tracks.  This app is quirky. Does the same thing with Apple Music, but the number of tracks loaded varies.  Never the right amount. The tracks are all Atmos. 

Dear Sonos,The new app uploaded itself on apple devices and now my system is completely bricked/useless. I have ZERO components in my system. I have tried to factory reset it, doesn’t work. Tried resetting the app, doesn’t work. Tried to get hold of support to no surprise ZERO chat reps available at 10:30 eastern time, and 50 minute wait for support.Do you people sit in a room and make up ways to piss your consumers off, because you are AMAZING at it? This entire system is about 24 hours outside of going in the garbage can since i can’t use them anymore.

I will never buy anything else from Sonos - the app is unusable - the only way I can change music is from the desktop app - the old app working fine but now I am forced to update, which basically breaks my Sonos system. I hope someone from Sonos management reads these forums - this is how companies go bust, by making their products worse and worse.Sorry for the rant but I am so frustrated. 

Hi Guys, Having a moose. I’ve bought a Samsung Flip TV for my business and the sound from the tv is poor. I’ve bought a Sonos Arc soundbar to then stream it through. Without realising that there is no HDMI arc or Optical out on the bloody expensive TV. The only thing there is is a 3.5mm audio jack.  The reason for the TV is to stream video which could come from a PC or any other streaming device.  Any idea how I could do this- Convert from the audio jack to an HDMIdirect the sound to the sonos and the visual to the TV - from the PC or other streaming device.Any other way of doing it?! Thanks in advance Will

So I have spent HOURS on calls with Sonos support, and with HP Aruba to try to fix issues that were down to a badly tested app?I’ve even bought a new network to replace ArubaI’ve lost all my Sonos favourites, and playlists built over many yearsMy speakers either won’t connect or won’t react to controlThe desktop controller app (Mac) is now in an endless update loop WHAT A MESS!  And now we get some half baked apology and statements about fixing some issues over THREE MONTHS What are the best alternatives to Sonos? Where is everyone going to go to?

Dear Sonos team.My self and it seems most users are very upset with this new app it basically makes my Sonos systems useless. One of the biggest issues out of many to list here is true play gets stuck in the continue screen and the only way to go back is to close the app and reopen it. This is happening with all my systems I have several in my house. I’m so frustrated at this  point  I'm thinking of just dumping everything in the trash as sono  has not even made a statement on this very critical bad update. We are customers and we deserve better we have supported this company for years! 

New sonos update. 2 bugs fixed. 1 created.…The ungroup on autoplay has stopped working with 80.05.06 ( it would be a good improvement to allow to copy the version number...)I have a sonos arc. This is really annoying.... Thanks

HiAny help or advice would be greatly appreciated.On top of the app upgrade debacle which has wreaked havoc on my SONOS system, I have now upgraded my internet package to full fibre (UK), so I am switching from a regular router from British Telecom to an ONT and router from another UK ISP.Due to Wi-Fi issues in my house, I have decided to move to a mesh system and have purchased the TP-link Deco X75 Pro 3 pack (it is overkill, but it was a great deal and hopefully future-proofs things for my network).  I have not installed the Deco routers yet.My current SONOS set up is a Beam (gen 2) hard wired to a 5 port switch which is then wired to the router.  The Beam is connected to an LG C2 Oled TV, which also has an Apple TV 4K connected but using Wi-Fi.I have an Era 100 in the next room along with a BT Complete Wi-Fi disc.In the room next to that I have a SONOS One.Upstairs, I have a SONOS One and an Era 100.My local music is currently stored and accessed on a Synology NAS (but not since the

Hi,A few days ago, I replaced my Gen 2 AMP with a Gen 3 AMP.  I did this so I can group together in the Sonos app, my analog speakers, Beam, and Roam speakers.  I was able to use the same cables that were connected to the Gen 2 AMP to connect everything to the Gen 3 AMP.  Unfortunately, now, the line-in won’t automatically switch to the TV when the TV is turned on.  This automatic switching process worked fine with the Gen 2 AMP.  Right now, using the Gen 3 AMP, the only way to select line-in is manually in the app.  I have set up within the app the ability to auto-select line-in when the TV is turned on.  The Source Level is set to A/V.Here is an example for my case:I listen to Sonos Radio all the time.  When I was using the Gen 2 AMP, if I turned on the TV the Gen 2 AMP would automatically switch to line-in and the TV show audio played on my analog speakers.  Now, with the Gen 3 AMP, if I listen to Sonos Radio, and then turn on the TV, the Gen 3 AMP does not sense the TV and switch t

 Ever since the launch of the new S2 app my system has suffered from the error code 913 unable to load local music library issue. I tried the various workarounds indicated by the community, and I still can’t configure my library directly, the 913 error code persists. However I have succeeded in implementing the NAS workaround, and have managed to get the library recognised through configuring the Music folder on my windows C: drive as a NAS drive. But this only partly works, some albums are shown correctly, some are shown multiple times, some don’t show at all, and when I try to play something from my library via my iPhone app I frequently get “Something went wrong. Try again.” Helpful! I’ve checked the consistency of the iTunes library, and it is fine. I wonder if this is a “feature” of the new app, or if I have configured something incorrectly. Am I a victim of Sonos incompetence, or my own? Would much appreciate the community’s help and advice. Sonos support has been lacking to date

Can you plz fix the app,volume up and down are so slow and to play a new song takes ages!fix it god dammit!!!everything is so crazy slow with the new app!!

We have 4 play 1s and 1 play 5, gen 2. 2 of the play 1 are connected via ethernet cable while the rest are wifi connected.When I remove one of the ethernet connected play 1 all of the wifi connected speakers disconnect.Current version of the Sonos app will not allow for network wifi to be reset or updated for wifi connected speakers, even after ethernet connected play 1 is reconnected. So far the only option seem to be a factory reset and re-install a “new” system? Is this true? Please advise. Thank you! 

I experience a significant delay when playing music on my Sonos ARC from my iPhone (13 Pro Max, latest iOS). It can take up to 3-5 seconds for changing track. The only solution I have found so far is unplugging the soundbar for a few moments and then put it back on. I am listening from Spotify directly Airplaying to the soundbar but same can be experienced using the Sonos app. This is happening since after the first maybe month from purchase so in the last 6 months or so. What can I do to make it work without this delay besides unplugging the cable? Also I am not sure if Trueplay settings are saved after such reset. 

I have factory reset my Sonos One to connect it to a new WiFi network. I have connected it to the new WiFi network, added Amazon music and Global player. I have also added Alexa voice assistant. When I ask Alexa to play Amazon music or a Global player radio station, Alexa says it’s going to play but no audio plays. Can someone advise what to do?

Two clients - both using S2, both using Deezer exclusively, both recently updated S2, but one has iPhone 14, one has iPhone 15.  On iPhone 15, client can create Playlists and access playlists made prior to the update..  On iPhone 14, client cannot create playlists nor access playlists made prior to update.  After selecting Deezer from the main page, the next page appears the same on both phones and includes Playlists as an option.  Selecting Playlists takes you to two different pages, depending on the phone.  On the iPhone 14, the next page includes only one option under the heading “My Playlists” which is “Loved Tracks,” and it doesn’t work when you attempt to select it.  There is no access to previously created playlists.  On the iPhone 15, the next page includes a playlist page with options headed by “Create Playlist,” and these options are fully functional.  The iPhone 14 is the first image, the iPhone 15, the second.  I uninstalled the app on the iPhone 14 and then downloaded and

New Sonos user here. Boxes arrived yesterday! My plan was to install 2 in-wall architectural speakers and 2 ceiling speakers on the same amp. Then connect my TV to that amp with the HDMI ARC. My thought was that this gives me a surround feel when watching TV (playing all 4 when on) and ability to play music on these 4 speakers if not using the TV. I’ve read I should have 2 amps using this setup (one for in-wall and one for ceiling “rears”) but why? Can I do what I’m planning? No soundbar or sub needed/wanted.. the soundbar is just not desired even though I know that plus a sub would be ideal. Thanks for the help!
