I have had a SONOS system for the last 10 years and for the last couple of years I have been using APPLE TV as my streaming service device.  Last week I decided to update my SONOS System and purchased the ARC sound-bar and a couple of 300’s for surround sound.  Ever since I setup the ARC my APPLE TV Remote does not work properly.  It works the volume and turns the TV OFF fine but after the TV has set for 20 to 30 minutes the APPLE TV Remote will not turn my TV back on.  I have traced this down to the ARC as I have disconnected the ARC from the TV and the remote works fine to turn the TV back on.  Hook the ARC back up and the remote will not turn the TV on.  I have been on the phone with SONOS for hours with no resolution.  So, I am just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.  The ARC and the 300’s are the only thing that has changed with the setup I have been using for years.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

There are a couple of threads in the past which suggest this is an issue with the Apple TV remote. It may need to be properly reconnected to your Apple TV.

Note that your Sonos Arc doesn’t actually communicate with your remote, it accepts the ARC signal from your TV set across the HDMI connection, instead.

There also may be value in you resetting all ARC connections, by unplugging from power the Apple TV, the TV, and the Sonos ARC at the same time. Then, after two minutes, plug them back in in this order: 1) the TV set 2) the Apple TV, then finally 3) the Sonos Arc.

Thanks for your response. I have tried all of these options and more and nothing seems to work.
